Great authentic Sicilian restaurant. We enjoyed our time so much surrounded by loud Sicilian three-generation families. Great atmosphere and memorable moments. During our time spent here we felt we got a taste of the life of Sicilian people. The foods are delicious, the prices are not high. Highly recommended!

Normally we never give reviews and reviews but this restaurant Torquemada deserves good review from our experience in 5 days evening dinner. We are really good helped by the staff and don't forget our beautiful lady Germana she is really customer friendly you can really go to her for advice . It is really a family restaurant and for all target groups. The price and food are not expensive. I can only say for us it was super great. We really enjoyed the restaurant Torquemada. One of my favorite experiences in Palermo/Sicily. The pasta with swordfish and eggplant was beyond incredible, truly one of the best plates of pasta I've ever had. The staff were so friendly, I was even gifted a shot of limoncello before I left by the owner. One of my most memorable dinners ever. Would definitely return with friends if given the chance.

A place that was recommended to me by my air bnb host. They were a little busy but this didn't jepodise the service. The staff were super friendly. I had accidently ordered the wrong dish and they were more than willing to get the right one and on the house! Regularly checked on if things were good and even served a fab dessert. If you can try the pistachio tirimisu - it literally melts in your mouth 😊

We visited here twice within a week, they serve super delicious pizzas and provid good service, all waiters are super kindly. I'm willing come again when I visit this city.:)))

The food was really nice. We had the special appetiser, a pizza to share and a cheesecake dessert which was more than enough for the two of us. The staff recommended a bottle of local red wine which was reasonably priced and went very well with the food. The atmosphere was very good and all of the staff were very very friendly and made us feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone!

Truly fantastic food. Incredible! We actually discussed going back every night of our visit. Would recommend Torquemada to anyone. The staff were also very helpful and lovely.

We were in lot of the restaurants in palermo. This one is the best. Its like come to someones home. The service is greatful they are interested in your needs and do for you whatever you want. They give u you time and they care of you like you are the only guest in the restaurant. Food is awesome. This restaurant definitely worth for any tip you can give. Thanks Mrs owner for her gifts to taste, smile and huge hospitality! Wish you a tons of guests! Everyone need to try this place at least once!

Nice place, good service, tasty pasta. We took pistacchio desert which was recommended. We get little snack and shot of limoncello for free it was nice surprise.

Delicious Sicilian cuisine! Lovely lady recommended an authentic starter and dessert to share, and we had amazing pizza (best we tasted in Palermo) and a lovely local wine. We would have returned if we’d had longer in `Palermo. We sat outside but it was really nice inside too, with a friendly ambience. Thank You <3

The food was amazing good and excellent service. Very good prices aswell. For sure will visit again when we visit Palermo again a highly suggested place to visit to eat.

We experienced great hospitality when we visited a few days ago. The server we had spoke English, but we had an Italian speaker with us so we allowed them to communicate so it was easier for her :) delicious food, very generous offerings (so much to choose from), and great service trying to accommodate various food sensitivities and allergies. It’s in a quiet area just past the Massimo Theater, and seems to get very busy since there are an ample amount of tables. Bathroom could be better, but otherwise good dinner!

Excellent and really friendly service. We haven't eat yet, but the manager (I think it's the manager) was already so nice and helpful. Maybe we looked so wasted that he gave us water 4 free :) I'll write how the food is... later... maybe.

Nice pizza and cheap silician beer! Recommend!

We visited Torquemada on 2 occasions. The first was an amazing array of seafood. The second (a couple of days later) was for pizza which was equally as good. It was very busy on the second night as it was the Saturday before new year's eve but staff were friendly and efficient particularly Umberto. We left both nights feeling very happy. On our second visit we were treated like old friends so thank you very much.

This centrally located restaurant was the best pizza and ravioli we have eaten in our trip theoughout Sicily! Exceptional service, owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
