Great place to eat. Good was delicious (scampi pasta, veal steak, grilled cheese, side dishes), wine also exquisite. The service - so welcoming and helpful. We received bruscetta „on the house” and cherry after the meal. The prices are great - quality-price ratio is amazing!!

Absolutely wonderful place to a great meal. It's very tranquil and cool (despite being warm outside.) The service was great and server was nice. We were seated quickly.

I'd easily come here again. The prices were low despite the good being amazing. The mushrooms we had with the fettuccine were picked that day 😊

Went here for lunch after visiting the sanctuary. House red was buonissimo as was the pasta and lamb. Veramente consigliato!

Really good restaurant in the middle of Monte Sant’Angelo. High quality of raw materials (strictly local) cooked in a fantastic and evocative way. The owner is very prepared and passionately involves guests in the history, preparation and tasting of the dishes. Really high quality local wines that they help you choose. Far beyond my expectations!

Outstanding dining. We had a wonderful soup of “fave”, followed by a tasty aubergine with tomato, capers and old bread, a juicy steak, flowers of zucchini fries In a soft paste and roasted potato with rosemary flavour. Ah, and some caciocavallo cheese!

I've never been led astray by Slow Food's restaurant guide (Osterie d'Italia), and there's a reason this place has won their "Chiocciola" award year after year.

Great, fresh and local food. Seasonal menu items. Fresh pasta, cured meats, and dessert liquors (amaro, limoncello, etc.) made in house. Wonderfully professional and friendly service (especially if, like me, you prefer to have the staff/chef make suggestions for your meal).

As in any true Pugliese restaurant, your best bet is to start with the house antipasto. I ordered the troccoli con ragù di seppia (squid) as my first course and loved it.

The location also can't be beat - just 100 meters from the famous underground church of Saint Michael the Archangel. Definitely recommend to all travelers passing through Monte Sant'Angelo!

Ristorante situato nel pieno centro storico di Monte Sant'Angelo in una posizione strategica tra il castello e il santuario di San Michele. Ambiente accogliente, servizio veloce e professionale, cibo ottimo e ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo.
Viene proposto sia menù di mare che di terra. Vivamente consigliato

Ciò che rende il " Ristorante Medioevo" una delle location da provare, e da ritornarci, sono 3 punti di forza indiscutibili. Il cibo eccellente dove la tradizione e la modernita si fondono in piatti unici, il servizio del personale attento alla sua clientela, e il prezzo che riesce ad essere non eccessivo ma onesto. 5 stelle tutte meritate, consiglio di provarlo.

Un esperienza veramente fantastica , essere in questo luogo e come essere a casa..a partire dell'accoglienza dei camerieri si vede già l'aspetto di un ottima cucina sia di TERRA e sia di MARE , con piatti tradizionali e molto innovativi anche di pesce..lo Chef ALDO VAIRA, che è il proprietario di questo locale, con sua moglie ISABELLA continua una storia che va avanti da circa 30 anni aggiornando di anno in anno la sua esperienza culinaria di tutto il promontorio...e per finire ci sono degli ottimi arrivederci con amari e dolcenti offerti da loro..consiglio vivamente...

Locale pulito e accogliente situato nel centro di Monte Sant’Angelo. È stato una piacevole sorpresa, portate ottime tipiche della cucina locale con ingredienti di prima qualità. Grande attenzione nei dettagli e personale di sala attento e professionale anche nella spiegazione dei piatti. A mio gusto personale l’ambiente mi è sembrato un po’ spoglio e le sedie scomode. Per il resto tutto ineccepibile. Veramente consigliato.

Al terminar de visitar la gruta, fue lo mejor quedamos a comer en el Ristorante Medievo, sus recetas son autóctonas, de temporada por supuesto y sus productos de KM 0. La carta de vinos excelente!
El servicio ha sido impecable, el local en el que se encuentra es bonito, íntimo, al entrar da la impresión de algo muy estándar, pero no os dejéis engañar...
He encontrado un poco incómodo ir al lavabo. La posición de los baños es en el ingreso y la puerta está al lado de las mesas, desde donde se llega a escuchar
