Agriturismo Villino del Grillo

We are from the USA and we stayed at Villino del Grillo for one wonderful week in June. The apartment was very cozy and clean and the craftsmanship is impeccable! Our hosts were very helpful and friendly and immediately felt like family. The location is very convenient to many popular Tuscan destinations. The location is atop a hill with breathtaking views in all directions and is very peaceful and private. We plan to stay at Villino del Grillo on our next trip to Italy!

Villino del Grillo consists of everything ideally suited for a wonderful pampered and rustic though convenient stay in the San Gimignano area of Tuscany. Yet it is clearly so much more than its wonderful parts, with bonuses so generous, and a family delightful to encounter and get to know just a bit.

We read through the book on arrival as well as the advance TripAdvisor reviews. Yet nothing prepares one for the myriad of pleasures of a week here, and it's clear that leaving for further adventures elsewhere comes a bit of a mixed blessing.

I have been traveling over a lifetime through almost twenty European countries, almost half of them many times and lengthily involving each engagement. Nothing by way of accommodation has even proven itself more memorable than being here, and very few approach the level of sheer pleasure we experienced in our week at Villino del Grillo.

Book early or someone else will steal the opportunity from under your nose.

Villino del Grillo is the most wondrful place in the world. My huband and I have traveled throughout the world and no place can compare with our stay. The most amazing family owns the Villino...gracious kind authentic and helpful in every possible way. If you are fortunate to book this farm stay you will have the most fabulous life time experience.

a lovely place to stay with a fully equipped kitchen and welcoming hosts

Po prostu trzeba tu przyjechać, cudowne miejsce i jego gospodarze. Poczuć prawdziwą toskańską atmosferę.. bezcenne

Volevamo fuggire per qualche giorno dalla vita frenetica e stressante della città... Dai problemi giornalieri... E pensare alla nostra piccola grande famiglia... Il periodo non è dei più semplici e trovare un alloggio ideale non è semplice ma devo dire che il villino del grillo, e riuscito in questo grande evento.. sono state solo 3 notti ma sono stati davvero tranquilli e molto rilassanti. Giovanni è stato un ospite perfetto e l abitazione davvero sopra ogni aspettativa..
Avendo una bimba piccola di 3 anni speravo in tanta attenzione!!! Che dire.... Sarà una delle nostre mete preferite!
P.s: il Piccolo Grande yago e davvero rispettoso ed educato!

Lieu magique dans le plus beau côté (pour moi) de la Toscane.
Vue sur San Gimignano, juste à côté de Certaldo.
Les hôtes sont gentils et font tout pour que l'on passe un bon moment !
Le seul petit hic c'est la douche (l'eau chaude est parfois un peu capricieuse).
Sinon, tout est parfait !

Abbiamo trascorso 4 giorni piacevolissimi al Villino del Grillo durante il ponte dell'Immacolata. I proprietari persone davvero squisite, sorridenti ed ospitali. Il Villino è perfetto: posizione incantevole, silenzio meraviglioso e dotato di ogni comfort. Davvero una vacanza in pieno relax a due passi da località ed angoli ricchi di fascino. Das liebevoll eingerichtete Häuschen liegt inmitten von Weinbergen in idyllischer Landschaft, perfekt für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen.
Giovanni und seine Familie waren mit Rat und Tat und mit großer Herzlichkeit für uns da. Die Unterkunft war perfekt ausgestattet und ließ keine Wünsche offen . Auch in diesen schwierigen Korona Zeiten fühlten wir uns sehr sicher, alles war pikobello sauber.

Chi vuole vivere una vacanza tranquilla in un ambiente familiare, ha trovato il posto giusto. Non è nemmeno distante dalle città come Siena e Firenze. Nel comune di San Gimignano noto per le sue torri e vicino a Certaldo il paese natio di Boccaccio.

Мы жили в этих апартаментах в марте 2018. Нам очень понравилось! Все было очень удобно и комфортно. В апартаментах есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания: хорошо оснащенная кухня, камин, диван, удобная кровать, чистая ванная и внутренний дворик. С территории открывается потрясающий вид на долину. Место удобное для поездок по региону: в Сиену, Флоренцию, Пизу и Лукку, Мольтачино и тд. Хозяева очень внимательные, помогали по всем вопросам! У них есть замечательная собака Отто) по приезду все показали и рассказали, подарили вкусное домашнее вино! машину можно припарковать на территории. Рекомендуем к посещению!

Casita de campo junto a un viñedo propiedad de los dueños. No le falta de nada. Ubicación extraordinaria si vas a hacer un viaje en coche por la Toscana. Giovanni y Silvia son encantadores y estuvieron siempre atentos para solucionarnos cualquier cosa que les pedíamos. Relación calidad-precio insuperable. Volveremos algún día sin ninguna duda.

Posto davvero speciale! Nella casetta c'è tutto, ma veramente tutto, anche i particolari e tutte le attenzioni (che una 'donna di casa' potrà notare subito).
E poi i proprietari sono davvero gentilissimi e disponibilissimi. E' stato un piacere trascorrere qualche giorno in questo posto splendido (Ottobre 2014).

Ottima posizione, famiglia molto cordiale e simpatica, ottima ospitalità. Posto tranquillo e riservato, prezzi modici, consigliato come base per visitare i dintorni.
