I’m not a big fan of Indian cuisine, but my friends highly recommended this place to me

The food is Indian with modern twists
The owner and waiters were so lovely, the atmosphere is amazing and different than quite Lugano
We asked the owner to recommend the dishes and literally they were all so goood 😋

As someone who has lived in India many years this was the best Indian meal I’ve ever had. Gagan, the owner was an excellent host with a sharp sense of humour and first class understanding of his wines and foods. The setting is warm and welcoming and wine cellar worth a quick look, even more so if Gagan explains things for you. The starters were good but the mains of lamb shank and veal steak were something else, truly exceptional. The wines we were given paired perfectly. Overall a first class experience!

We visited Tabla’s on our recent Switzerland trip and Unlike most "Indian " restaurants, the food at Tabla is not only delicious but everything is distinctively different. Lovely staff and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to everyone

Amazing Indian and Fusion food!
We enjoy having dinner there as the setting is very nice in a little forest. The ambience is great and all the dishes are delicious.
We really enjoy the variety of the dishes and presentation.

This is by far the best restaurant in Lugano and Ticino. The food is simply superb and the whole team is very professional and kind. Gagan, the owner, is super friendly and polite. Thank you. 🙏🏻 The restaurant is beautiful and the atmosphere is peaceful with soft lights. The taste of the food is out of this world, all the ingredients and spices generate an explosion of pleasure and delight in your mouth 🤩 I've been eating plant-based food for 40 years and I'm so happy that Gagan proposes some incredible vegan options. We had the veg platter and the Masala Dosa and both were beyond delicious 😋 the Chocolate Mousse with a sprinkle of pistachio crumbs (also vegan) as dessert made me feel I was in heaven! Everything was great, and I recommend trying the atmosphere and food of the restaurant, as the owner of the halal is always present and supervises everything, and this gives a good impression, but the prices were a little expensive.

One of the best experiences I have ever had at any Indian restaurants. Amazing service, the owner personally greets you and makes sure you’re taken care of throughout your entire dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant in Lugano - for anyone looking for a special day/date out, visitors in Lugano, and for locals looking for a new experience.

Must do in Lugano! Oh what a wonderful experience (the highlight of our Euro Vacation). So much passion put into the food, service, decor and everything. My whole family loved the experience.

They seemed to be super busy (even on a weekday) but the service was better than anything that we have experienced back home in Dubai.

We will for sure come back to Lugano just for Tabla and will for sure recommend this to anyone who is the region and love food.

Atmosphere and environment is great, very relaxing, warm and welcoming! Came here for a birthday dinner, and food was great, mostly Indian food as well as a few dishes from other asian countries. Service was amazing, very nice staff. Prices are fairly reasonable, and not too expensive for Lugano. Location is nice but the restaurant is a little bit difficult to find. However, definitely recommend!!

The food here is delicious!!..The portion size is also sufficient for each. The ambiance is perfect for nature lovers!!...Travelers looking for Indian delicacies should visit here.👍

The best Indian restaurant in Switzerland is what I would say and I am a Indian living in Switzerland for 13 years now. It is not just the food, but the ambiance and most importantly the service. I wish I could shift gagaan and team, lock stock barrel to Zurich. Every little detail has been taken care of , the flowers in the window box to the cool rest rooms. The food is fresh and chef serves it with love.

Most excellent with good food and superb service. I can vouch you do not leave unhappy! Not the budget place but you get what you pay for. Also very good wine / Champagne cellar 😘

My partner and I ate at Tabla during a one night stay in Lugano and we are so glad we made the choice to eat here! Service was impeccable and we had delicious appetizers, two champagnes, a red and rosé, chicken tikka masala, and the vegan Main course Indian platter. Everything was very good but the chicken tikka masala was a standout—better than anything we’ve had in the States. The waiting staff and Gagan, the owner, were very friendly and professional. We enjoyed chatting with Gagan about his time in the States and seeing the wine cellar. A must to eat at when you’re in Lugano!!

I expected very good service and fantastic food plus reach and well composed wine cellar as we went there based on recommendation of a friend. And Tabla exceeded my expectations. The service was friendly, helpful and guessing our mind. Food was delicious and even music was just spot on. I will try to come back to Tabla one day, as it is a true and authentic place run with love and care!
