B&B Le Gemme

Beautiful rooms, very clean, the bathtub was such a lovely thing after a day of wandering through the villages close by. The hosts are lovely and the breakfast very good (especially the home made jams and cake and the good coffee). The location is ideal next to the beautiful medieval Bridge.

Every place has its imperfections and for transparency, I'll share the very minor things that some guests might find less enchanting but none of these kept us from having a wonderful experience. You have to walk up 20 or so steps to get to the room. This was not an issue for us but good to know for guests with limited mobility. The sound travels through the doors so you'd, want to be respectful to the neighbors and not make too much noice. During our stay, all three rooms were booked but the house was very calm at all times so this was not an issue for us. The hot water in the shower came and went, sometimes we had to wait a few minutes for the hot water to come back but this was not an issue either, especially not considering the very reasonable price per night.

As mentioned, non of this took away from a great experience. Overall, this is one of the best stays we've had. We highly recommend this gem to other travellers!!

Wonderful hostess Bettina and her husband who have turned this B&B into a fairytale. In the beautiful streets of Dolceacqua. We felt really welcome here. Bettina serves breakfasts that you will never forget. Her own baked pie and dolces ... mmmmm :)

Beautiful! Spacious. Very well appointed. But come with light luggage as there is no access by car and many steps. The price you pay for authenticity. The owners obviously love their business and are reinvesting every penny into adding more 19th century frills to the place.

Amazing and cozy place to stay. The host is so super friendly and the breakfast was delicious.

C'est très atypique, j'adore la décoration, c'est vraiment très sympa.
Une très bonne adresse et très bien située.
De plus, le petit déjeuner est excellent.
Bettina et son mari sont aux petits soins.
On reviendra avec plaisir lors de notre prochain séjour en Italie.

C est la 2 ieme fois que je séjourne dans ce charmant gîte situé au cœur du typique et joli village de Dolceacqua. Les hôtes sont charmants les chambres très propres et décorés avec goût . La climatisation dans ma chambre a été la bienvenue. Excellent petit déjeuner servi sur la terrasse avec des produits locaux fruits frais fromage prosccioto pâtisserie maison ... Je recommande fortement.

Placé au centre du village,côté château, ce b&b est idéal. Très joliement décoré, coquet, on s'y sent comme à la maison.
L'accueil de Bettina et son mari est parfait et sans fausses notes et le petit déjeuné qui est servit est très bon.
Ce bed and breakfast est une pépite, nous reviendrons.

Bellissimo B&B nel centro di Dolceacqua, le camere pulite e molto grandi. La colazione genuina e abbondante. Occhio solo che ci sono scale abbastanza ripide, non adatto a chi ha problemi di mobilità.

B&B molto molto bello. Camere con un'atmosfera unica, molto pulite e ordinate. Proprietari gentilissimi e disponibili. Colazione in terrazza eccellente . 4 giorni vissuti in una location magica e coinvolgente. Molto consigliato.

Tutto perfetto! Siamo stati soltanto un giorne e una notte, l‘appartamento e bellisimo, grande e super pulito! Collazione ecellenta,, servito da Bettina e il marito, sono molto gentile!

Perfetto! Camera profumata, pulitissima e molto bella. B& b arredato con attenzione e gusto. Ottima e ricca colazione dolce/salata. Gestori gentili. Possibilità uso autonomo della cucina. Che si vuole di più?

Un B&B fantastico. Pulito, gestori gentilissimi e posizione fantastica. La camera Ambra era molto silenziosa e il materasso comodo. Se avete voglia di fare un giro nell'entroterra imperiese, questo è il posto ideale per soggiornare. Ci ritornerò!

Cette maison familiale a été rénovée et décorée avec goût ! Un lieu d'un grand romantisme où passer d'agréables moments. Bettina et son époux sont adorables et acceuillants et leur petit déjeuner est un pur instant de délice. Nous reviendrons avec le plus plaisir et vous les recommandons.

camere pulite e confortevoli,colazione ottima, tranquillità e cortesia per passare un weekend romantico e rilassante.

Una favola, luogo incantato, magico, tutto ti avvolge in un atmosfera unica. Camera profumata, bellissima con affaccio sul meraviglioso ponte di Dolceacqua. Posizione ottima, in centro ma tranquillo, colazione in terrazza con vista Castello, non manca nulla... Cordialità.. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Geweldige gastvrouw Bettina en haar echtgenoot die dit B&B tot een sprookje hebben gemaakt. In de prachtige straatjes van Dolceacqua. Een zeer stijlvol interieur met oog voor bijzonder mooie details. Gebruik van prachtige keuken, wasgelegenheid, terras, een zitkamer, erg aangenaam. Hier voelden wij ons écht welkom. Bettina serveert ontbijtjes die je niet meer zal vergeten. Haar eigen gebakken taart en dulces... mmmmm:)

B&B molto accogliente. Anche se se per una notte, é stata davvero una bella esperienza! Pulito, silenzioso e ottima colazione !

B&B très spacieux, comme dans un cocon. Notre hôte est adorable, et nous concoctes un petit déjeuner de roi. Je ne peux que le recommander.

Un petit séjour dans ce village atypique qu'est Dolceacqua , un accueil chaleureux , une chambre confortable et d'une grande propreté , une décoration recherchée avec des objets mis en valeur par le talent de la maîtresse de maison, un excellent petit déjeûner sur le toit au soleil avec une vue remarquable , des espaces dédiés à la détente nous permettent de nous relaxer après une belle journée de flânerie dans les petites ruelles où il est bon de se perdre . Nous reviendrons très vite . Le fait que Bettina parle français a été un plus pour nous narrer la vie si douce de son village et de nous donner de bons conseils sur nos futurs itinéraires autour de Dolceacqua , nous avons adoré Apricale .C'est donc avec une profonde sincérité que je vous recommande cette maison d'hôtes" le Gemme " . Profitez bien de votre séjour , vous ne le regretterez pas !
