Florentine Steak was delicious. For petite Asians, the portion is so big that it can be shared between 3 people lol as it also comes with crispy but chunky potato. It is usually served raw in the middle so if you are not used to raw beef for your steak, it’s going to be difficult to eat. The fried dough at the start of the meal was excellent. Service was also very professional. Everything about this place was exactly as hoped according to the reviews we read. Would recommend to those who want to try Florentine steak. Also, we noticed other tables ordering pasta so perhaps pasta was great too but we didn’t get to try it.

We booked and confirmed online (through Google/TheFork), and they had our names on the table when we arrived. They treated us so well from the moment we entered till the end of our meal.

The food is amazing. Possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in Italy. The food is also reasonably priced. We got a 1.1kg Florentine steak that was well worth it. 3 people could get full on the steak.

Simply the best. Everything about this place was spectacular - from the food to the service to the ambiance. Highly recommend the Florentine steak of course. Cooked to perfection, very tender and flavorful. I also recommend their brownie dessert, perfect way to end the meal. The bread and fried dough they brought as starters were also noteworthy. Fantastic experience all the way through!

Hands down the best restaurant in Florence and the best service ! They gave us free Prosecco to start with whilst waiting for our table and free dessert and limoncello. Waiters are so kind and sweet. The food was delicious too !

The food is very good! This is probably the closet to a home style Florentine restaurant you will find. The presentation was simple but the food tastes so good! We tried their special of the night, wild pig, it was one of the best Italian main course I ever tried. This is a must visit if you are in Florence.

Well this place does not disappoint! We did not have a booking , and they were booked solid .
They asked if the wine cellar would be ok and we said yes 🙌🏼 what a beautiful wine cellar to dine in 🙏
Lucky we did, we had one of the most amazing meals the truffle pasta to die for , fresh pate , the giant steak and the vedura and Alberto our waiter amazing he picked the wines.
Well done this family owned restaurant gets a standing ovation from us. 🙌🏼

Our dinner was delicious. The waitstaff went above and beyond. Their suggestions for main dish and dessert were fantastic. When I was undecided, they gave me a “special” plate with both options. Lots of extra attention. We felt very special and appreciated it all.

Delicious Florentine steak and tiramisu! The Florentine steak had a great flavor and crust. This definitely has to be shared between at least 2 people. This particular steak was 87 euro. The service was top notch, and everyone was so kind. The bathrooms were super clean. The dining room can get a bit noisy, but everyone is simply having a great time!

Their wine cellar is very intimate and an experience! If you’re looking for Florentine Steak 10/10 for price & flavour as well for homestyle Tuscany dinner. Our waiter (Alberto) was extremely friendly and patient. Their specials for their menu is the go to, as well with the most decent prices! We were so stuffed with the two mains & had to get tiramisu to go. Definitely a place to go to in Florence!

Finally got to try the Florentine steak. It was cooked rare and did not disappoint. The potatoes that accompanied the steak were so good I think it was my favorite part of the meal. We also shared three starters between the four of us as well as a bottle of wine and we left stuffed. I would recommend this place for anyone who wants to try Florentine steak. Their other dishes looked good based on what I saw from the other tables too.

Italian friend recommended it as an authentic Tuscan restaurant, and she was right! Service was so friendly and attentive, food was delicious - started with complimentary fried bread, seafood and truffle pasta, tiramisu and creme brûlée were all delicious and generous!

Phenomenal meal with terrific and warm service in a beautiful location near the Westin and St Regis hotels. The experience starts with the specialty fried bread before choosing among a number of fresh specials. The Florentine steak was simply superb - one of the best steaks I have ever had. But I was also jealous of the fresh fish I saw being served to my neighboring tables. Make sure to reserve as the locals love this place and all the tables were filled midweek in March. Try it, you won't regret it.

The restaurant is in a gorgeous old building, and the service is good. The food is the shining star though, with every dish being good. Best crème brûlée I’ve ever had!

My husband and I went to this restaurant 5 years ago when we first visited Florence and we loved it, so we knew we wanted to go back. Well, we went last night and it was even better than the first time. We had reservations for 8:00 and we were sat in the front room which is very lively. We felt like we were among friends. The staff is very attentive, our server was so nice and helpful, and the food was amazing! So fresh and flavorful. They bring out fried bread that is lightly salted and it’s such a nice way to start off your dining experience. We started with the artichoke appetizer with shaved Pecorino Romano and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. We both ordered pasta dishes that were unbelievable and were served hot, like they brought it out the minute the pasta hit the plate. The house wine was one of the best glasses of red I have ever had. They even brought over lemon sorbet and biscotti (which were also the best I have ever had) after our meal, which is a nice touch. Caterina is very sweet and worked the room the entire night, making sure everything ran smoothly. This restaurant has such a homey feeling. I can’t say enough good things. My husband and I saved it for our last night, but both said we wished we went more than one night during our visit because we just love it that much. It was definitely the most authentic dining experience we had during our trip to Florence. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing pasta dishes. Their truffle pasta that was on the special menu is my favorite pasta dish I’ve ever had. My bf had the seafood pasta which was insanely good as well.

High class dining with high quality food. We went to try the Florentine Steak which was more than enough for two people and cooked medium rare at most. The steak was crispy and tasty on the outside and soft and tender on the inside; fabulous! The roasted potatoes which were served with the steak were phenomenal and oddly enough might have been my favorite part. We had some white Pinot Grigio as well which went nicely with the meal. Furthermore, we tried the spinach stuffed artichoke special appetizer which was offered for the night and was quite good! Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Highly recommend if youre in Florence and want an amazing steak!

The food was delicious, and the fried bread before the meal was really good, just like the Chinese "youtiao" taste, but the restaurant didn't serve second helpings. The dishes have distinct flavors, and the desserts are not very sweet, which is acceptable to Asian people.

I would give this family owned 3 generation more stars ⭐ if I could. It was a treat from the moment we walked into the place. Our hotel booked it for us, when all of our other choices had no room.
The owner was charming & kind to us. She & all her staff worked with speed & efficiency. We never felt rushed or pressured, as reviews for our other locations mentioned. Our server was excellent & went above & beyond, presenting a small ‘present’ or extra.
The feel was local, not touristy. Her art collection was varied & well placed, a bonus. It was a wonderful night, I highly recommend!

Incredible experience. Came here with a large group for dinner one night and was blown away. Everything from the starters to desert was absolutely incredible. The Bistecca al Florentina was amazing. One thing that stood out to me was our server, who was extremely energetic and thoughtful, a true highlight of our experience. Will definitely come again.
