My stay in this hotel was wonderful. The room is clean, you have a nice bathroom and much space for all of your stuff. You can choose if you want your room to be cleaned or not. You even have a mini fridge. The breakfast was ok too and the staff is very nice. If I ever visit this place again, I would like to stay in this hotel. The location is perfect too and I saw a great parking space.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the hotel! It feels like a boutique hotel.
Very clean, nice friendly staff, excellent breakfast, convenient central location, and their dinner menu is a great deal. Excellent drinks served by Antonio at the bar. Don’t forget to enjoy the happy hour!

We stayed here for 2 nights. Not being my style, this old fashion hotel achieves a good balance between old style and convenience. Rooms are quite small by modern standards, but quite functional. Service was outstanding. We had both breakfast and dinner and everyone was quite happy at both times. Location is in a very nice smaller town on the outskirts of Florence; about 1 hour.

Great little hotel. Exceptional staff! Ervisa at the front desk was incredible, greeting my friend and me by name, everytime we entered the lobby. Also wonderful were Antonio at the bar, incredibly knowledgeable, Isaac was also very friendly and helpful. All of the breakfast servers were great too

Hotel certainly was authentic complete with a bidet, but was comfortable and affordable. To note though is how friendly and helpful the staff was with every single question. They were simply amazing. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. At night there were plenty places to eat outside the hotel. Room was cleaned every day! I would go back if I had the chance.

What a charming hotel! This hotel was spectacular. Immaculate! Beautiful decor! Convenient to EVERYWHERE!

The staff went out of their way to make us feel at home and that we were. The beds were comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful. From the front desk to the restaurant, everyone was professional and most accommodating!!!
I would not hesitate to stay their again. When I do, I want the same room (#103) with a charming balcony overlooking the street. Infact I have already recommended this gem to friends.

To the staff, thank you for making my daughter and myself so comfortable.
Sincerely,
-Ira and Rachel

We are at this hotel now through Gate1 Travel for a week and I must say the staff is amazing. The beds are comfortable and rooms are clean and big. The bathroom is huge w the addition of a bidet.
The breakfast buffet has more food then you could ever eat and the blood orange juice and hot drinks are amazing. Fresh fruit their to take as snacks for the day.
The bar is friendly w other guests and the booths in beautiful blue velvet.
Old world charm describes the hotel and town well. A central location to see the Tuscan region.
Great value and I highly recommend this hotel and staff.

The staff is the best I've experienced, Ritz Carlton could take a few lessons from these folks. Check in was good and informative. The hotel parking is limited, if you overflow you do need to find street parking (seemed plentiful) for 3.5 Euro for a day. Also, on Sundays the area is traffic restricted, so register your license or the photo cops send you a ticket. The room was OK, clean, bed was a bit hard for our tastes. Bath was spotless. The walls are very thin, normal conversation in the next room is very clear to hear so bring earplugs. Breakfast was OK, coffee was poor. There is a bar area with some snacks and well priced beer and wine, a nice place to relax after a day exploring Tuscany. Location is good for evening dining and visiting towns around Tuscany in your rental.

Fantastic staff, service and location. My husband and I arrived at the hotel around 5AM after a 4 hour drive from Milan Malpensa Airport. The staff who welcomed us spoke several languages and was very professional. The hotel management and staff were very accommodating no matter what time of day or night. The service was flawless. The breakfast was the best we ever experienced all around. It was on time, meticulously arranged and professionally managed. It included a variety of delicious fresh fruits, yogurt, eggs, cold cuts, cereals, dried fruits, and tons of Italian bakery items. The hotel has a cozy bar with a professional bartender who also speaks several languages. The hotel has an authentic structural look to it. It used to a palace up until 90 years ago. The current owner kept many of its original and rare structures intact, such as large windows and shutters, crown molding and tall ceiling and columns. The location is unbeatable. It is in walking distance from two rail stations, cozy downtown and restaurants and cafés. We stayed for 5 days at this hotel and we would not change this experience with anything else.

This is not a five star hotel but I’m giving it five stars here because the Minerva is extremely pleasant and great value for the money. Our rooms including the beds and pillows were plenty comfortable and the staff was cordial and extremely helpful. The breakfast was ample but the coffee and juices were a weak link the former from a machine the latter watered down. If you ask they can make you real coffee. A minor complaint given the overall positives of the place. This is one of the Hotels Gate 1 uses - we were there on a Gate 1 package and would definitely return on our own. Very convenient, near the main square with the nightly passagiata, the train station, central market and many restaurants.

Gate One Travel assigned us to this hotel for our Tuscany trip back in November. We didn't opt for the rental car, which was just fine because Hotel Minerva Palace is about a ten-minute walk from the Montecatini Centro train station. Not only was it also convenient to ATM machines, restaurants, and some cool sites within Montecatini, but the hotel staff were top-notch! We stayed at a hotel outside Milan on the last day of our vacation, and the staff there didn't even compare to the kind, helpful, and knowledgeable staff at Minerva Palace. Not even close! You will be in very good hands here. We stayed a total of five nights, and it was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring other towns in Tuscany. I only wish I had known about the rooftop views. I guess we will save that for next time...and, at this point, I think there will be a next time.

I have to start this review by stating that the staff at the Hotel Minerva went beyond the expectations of any hotel management should. Franco the main man at the front desk is an exceptional person who is an asset to the establishment. Anna, Alberto, Emanuele, and Tony also need to be commended. My wife had an emergency appendectomy the day after we arrived. The comfort and care that they showed toward both of us was extremely comforting in a harrowing time. I am at a loss for words to express my gratitude to all of them. The hotel could not be better located centrally to restaurants, shops and sightseeing especially the farmacia. The town of Montecatini Terme has enough action to keep you busy but enough charm to make it quaint. The hotel amenities were well appointed. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and also had some great selections of cakes. Emmanuele who was there each morning and then again in the evening for tending bar was a terrific person who is very attentive to the guests and their needs. We will return to this hotel and town for a proper holiday minus the hospital stay. Fino al mio ritorno.

Loved the Palace, great staff who tend to all of your needs. Make sure you check out the Terrace. Anna who runs the dining room is THE BEST and make sure you cozy up to the lobby bar and meet Antonio.
