My stay at Grotta Giusti was absolutely phenomenal! From the impeccable service to the warm and friendly staff, the delicious food, stunning rooms, and breathtaking gardens, it seems like every aspect of your experience was truly extraordinary. The abundance of activities, including the picturesque pool and delightful café, adds to the allure of this magnificent property. And let's not forget about the exceptional wellness center, offering a diverse range of treatments and therapies. Grotta Giusti is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a truly amazing retreat.

The hotel is set in a beautiful setting with lovely gardens and pools. The rooms are very nicely decorated. They provided a lovely breakfast and excellent health spa. Recommended going underground into the cave for good breathing therapy. There are also numerous good restaurants to enjoy in the area.

We went as 2 friends and had such a wonderful time away. The hotel is so clean! The staff were attentive. But the star of the show is the unbelievable treatments at the spa. We had a facial, massage and experienced the steam cave, all were excellent. I will definitely be returning, many times. Also, the barman is amazing, so enthusiastic about his job, his cocktails were wonderful!

Excellent stay here. Room was gorgeous and the staff were all amazing and kind. The spa’s outdoor pools are just what you need for December in Tuscany. Can’t wait to come back for a longer stay.

We had booked 2 nights to stay here at the Spa using our free night rewards stay from Marriott. Before leaving for Italy, I was reading recent reviews on this hotel and getting nervous that maybe we should only stay one night and save our rewards night for another place. I am so glad I kept both nights here. upon check in we re provided with complimentary glasses of wine and we were upgraded to a beautiful room as we are gold Bonvoy members. The room was gorgeous and our favorite for the whole week we spent in Italy. There was a nice King size bed, beautiful marble bathroom with really nice shampoo/conditioner/lotions. I do agree with other reviewers that the spa was a little hard to navigate but the property is huge so I dont think there is anything that they can do about it. The outdoor thermal pools are not as hot as we would have preferred but it was still fine and very relaxing with all the strong jets. As for the dining, we only had breakfast one morning and the staff was plentiful, friendly and the buffet was full of many items to choose from. I had talked to the front desk about the dining and i was told they hired all new staff and things were much better, which I witnessed. We had chosen restaurants to eat at in nearby towns ahead of time for our dinners. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Tuscany!

The "Grotta" is unique, you can't find anything like this in any other place around the world. The rooms are nicely decorated, marble bathrooms and soft beds. I loved the spa and the outdoor swimming pool, bigger than expected and not crowded during the week.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful, situated in a gorgeous place. The service was top notch, Laura who checked us in was very friendly, Alessandra helped us with everything for the spa and was incredibly hospitable with us and Federico at the hotel lobby bar was FANTASTIC! Sooo incredibly good, his drinks could easily be considered for the best bars in the world, his service was also exceptional, his genuine hospitality and passion for what he does was a breath of fresh air.
The rooms and all the spa facilities were amazing and we were able to relax while we were there. We would definitely return to this spa resort in the future.

All was well organized and exceeded the expectations. To conclude our stay at Grotta Giusti, we tried the ultimate and more challenging experience. After the subterranean grotto closes to the regular public, you can be guided by coaches to enter the underground lake (which is forbidden during regular spa hours) and explore it by moving along the rocky banks. It is a spiritual experience in which you learn that your hands will not keep you out of the deep water, it is your breath (all starts with breathing exercises) that will send you up. The journey includes a part in absolute darkness, in the water and feeling like at the center of the earth, and a “floating” for meditation-relaxation guided by the arms of the coach. For obvious reasons - both hands are already very busy finding rocks where to cling to and move on along the walls while the body is in the water - we could not carry phones and take pictures, the two included are from the Internet. The beauty of the lake (in fact a rift 20 kilometers long) is breathtaking and while the coaches are there to keep you absolutely safe you have some fears to confront and overcome. Paradoxically, the best place in the word for meditation—and if I managed to complete it with my size, everybody can …

So incredible! I am so glad we had this experience. We floated in the Grotto and had massages in the spa! Just amazing! The food is not great but there are many options and also great local restaurants. I can’t wait to go back!

A very peaceful and relaxing stay. The check-in was very pleasant and everyone was very friendly. The spa services were refreshing and rejuvenating. I will return for another visit.

Great place to get away from it all. Perfect for relaxing and recharging. The heated pools, saunas and spa amenities are world class. The thermal grotto was phenomenal and worth the extra charge to experience. The rooms and public hotel areas are super clean and fresh. Wonderful and welcoming staff at the desk, restaurant, pool and housekeeping. I enjoyed the food in the restaurant and in the village near the hotel.

I spent a couple days to recharge and came back a few days later because I liked it so much. I will be back.

Federico ! One of the best mixologist/bartenders you are going to find in the world. Don’t come an ask for a classic cocktail ! Let him do his thing and you won’t regret it. Also the staff overall is amazing ! The amenities I are out of this world ! Perfect place to relax !

Unique grotta access and top notch spa facilities. Our room was lovely with a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was underwhelming but the property and environment both deserved five stars of Tuscan charm.

The hotel was refurbished in 2021 and opened in April 2022. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The bathroom has a huge shower. Our room on the second floor has a large balcony facing the park.

The hotel has a pool, tennis court, gym, and trail for walking and exercising.

It has a SPA adjacent to the hotel open to the public, and it has one of the largest Grotta in Europe. The hotel has a smaller thermal pool and saunas exclusively for guests inside and outside. The guests also can use the large thermal pool open for the public.

The SPA has several treatments and face/body massages.

They have a bar for cocktails and a restaurant.

I recommend for relaxing and treatments.

Fabulous hotel and thermal spa. Dinner at the hotel is average, I would recommend having dinner elsewhere. They need to hire more wait staff, we waited 30 minutes to get drinks, 40 minutes to place our dinner order. Hotel staff is excellent!

What a wonderful gateway! I came here with my best friend and it’s unforgettable. The concierge reception helped us to get a taxi from train station to the hotel, and gave us a lovely room. Luca and Silvia from restaurant were extremely nice, and Silvia presented a great wine tasting experience with selected wine from Tuscany area. Due to my medication I can’t take any alcohol, but Silvia also poured some wine for me to smell - how nice and considerate. She gave a detailed description about each wine, clearly with preparation and passion. Also the pool and grotta was fantastic. We love this experience!

Spent our honeymoon at Grotta Giusti, and it was absolutely splendid! This hotel is everything and more. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful whenever we needed their assistance, the location cannot be beat, and the view is spectacular from every angle!! I cannot express how much we loved our stay at Grotta Giusti. Luxury at it's finest! We will certainly be back at some point for our anniversary!!

The drive towards Grotta Giusti town was fast, going through large paid highways. The accommodations were spectacular, a beautiful garden, however we arrived earlier than expected, so our room was still not available.

While we waited, we met a couple from Denver, that were traveling through Tuscany and had purchased many bottles of wine. During lunch time we met again, and they mentioned that the restaurant allowed the visitors to bring an open a bottle of wine paying a fee of 15 euros, and that they would like to offer us a bottle of Chianti that they had purchased during the trip.

The antipasti was excellent, but the pasta took a long time to arrive, and it tasted as if they would have took it out of the boiling water 1 minute earlier. Never the less the wine was superb.

Fun day. The thermal pools are lovely, not too hot , we followed the recommended 20 mins with a break after. The loungers are comfortable in nice grounds. We pre booked the steam caves which are a true experience and also a massage , which I understand was excellent. Lunch included in the price was good and the staff welcoming and attentive. One tiny issue is no soap or shower gel in the changing room showers, not even a hint of molten brown !! So maybe mention when booking as it is useful after an oily massage. Overall a relaxing experience to add to the memory banks.

We arrived mid-week for a relaxing break from daily sightseeing. The mineral pool was perfect and I may have even snored for a few moments in the wonderful thermo grotta.
