Went to this fabulous restaurant after a river cruise. Everything was wonderful at this restaurant. Our waiter, Pietro, was magnificent. I highly recommend that you dine here.

We came here quite spontaneously in a group of five and we had the best time. Very kind people, very good food. We enjoyed the famous Bistecca Fiorentina with local meat. Great choice!

Highly recommended. The Chianna steak was perfectly cooked and the two vegetarians in our party loved their choice.

We just happened to walk past while looking for a nice place to eat. The polenta crouton and pate appetiser was fantastic, and my ravioli was delicious, my daughter had a Caesar salad and pasta with ragu, both delicious. Desserts were equally as tasty. Service was excellent, English spoken and also on menu.

The food there is amazing, especially the tartare and tagliata chianina in florentine style. Their wine card also offers a broad variety so everyone finds something to their taste. We were seated in the outside terrace and the atmosphere was calm but amazing with a beautiful view over the river Arno. Also thanks to our waitress Viola (she gave us the best service ever!) we enjoyed the best dinner in Florence that we had :) We're definitely going to return!

The staff were so welcoming and accomodating of us turning up bang on opening time with a toddler in tow (even though I am pretty sure they were just sitting down for their staff meal). Wonderful service and beautiful food. The osso bucco and risotto was lovely and my husband really enjoyed the chef’s Florentine steak and potatoes.

Great little place right next to the river. We had lunch there, the food was very good. Burgers were very well prepared with tasty toppings and sides. Exceptional service from Pietro, he deserves 10 stars. He was very attentive to allergy needs of one of the guests in our party and overall service was amazing. Thanks Pietro!

Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere! Would highlight service separately: waiter Viola was exceptional! Very attentive lady, who had her own individual approach to each guest.

Pietro was our waiter, he was so kind and helpful. I didn’t know what to get, he recommended the platter of meats. I loved the food and wine, my wife got the steak. Fast service, the best food in Florence. I will come back to this restaurant. Definitely recommend, you can tell they really care about the craft or the food.

My friends and I arrived without a reservation for dinner. Tables were quickly rearranged for us to be accommodated. We sat outside and had a beautiful view. Our server, Peter, was extremely kind and helpful. Throughout the meal, he suggested items on the menu, described wines, and brought us limoncello to end our meal. Overall great experience, thank you!

Lovely restaurant with very friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We were a little put off by the seeming emphasis on burgers at the restaurant but we needn't have been, the Italian food was beautiful. The risotto with zucchini flowers had a wonderful nutty depth of flavour to it.

Sadly didn't get the waitresses' names but they were both superb and ready to recommend dishes, wine, and grappa to us ignorant English people.

The tiramisu capped off a delicious meal!

Simply perfect. We ate every morsel brought to us. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was enveloping and relaxing. With all the options in Firenze this is definitely a place we will go out of our way to dine at again. We are going to bring the rest of our family. Pietro was our server and he made us feel at ease with our limited Italian. He paced our courses so well, we never felt rushed and had the perfect time between to enjoy what we had eaten and anticipate what was yet to come. And of course suggested the perfect wine. Grazie Mille!!!!

Our family of 5 loved our experience at Lungarno 23 on a warm night in mid July. Our kind waiter, Pietro was interactive and fun. The location was just out of the Florence crowd, which we loved. And the food was delicious!

Peter was great! We had a lovely time. Food was great and everyone was friendly. Loved being on the terrace with a view of the city and the limoncello at the end of the meal was a lovely touch.

Very good steak. Almost all options include some sort of beef.

Is really hard for me to give 5 stars but this place earned them big time! I went with my girlfriend while staying in Florence, the atmosphere is quite warm and the service was amazing(especially the guy named Francesco) I’ll definitely recommend this place for everyone!

We spontaneously walked past this gem of a restaurant after enjoying sunset at the piazza le michalengelo and really enjoyed the meal and service. Would highly recommend for all vegetarians as well.

Whilst its specialty is meat they made an amazing effort to cater for us being vegetarian. Viola who took our order was amazing as was the manager and chef
The pasta they made with sage butter and truffle was off the charts , pecorino and pepper jam and fennel / orange/ walnut salad fantastic

This spot is in a prime location close to Ponte Vecchio and has an incredible view over the Duomo and city center from the outside tables. Besides location, this is a really solid place for the typical Tuscan fare, with some eclectic twists in the menu. Food is high quality, well-presented, and makes you want to have more. Chianina beef is the specialty here. It's prepared in various ways including tartare, roast-beef, carpaccio and of course bistecca alla fiorentina. Regardless of preparation, beef quality is excellent and sourced from selected local farms. To top up the experience, we were really pleased with the attentive and friendly service of all the staff here, who went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were exceeded. Overall an amazing dining experience that we'll definitely repeat the next time we are in Florence.

Very much recommended restaurant! We had pasta what we ended up change half way through because we just couldn’t decide which one was better. One was Carbonara with aspargus and the other is with Tuscany’s seasonal mushroom. Desert we also ended up changing we had brownie with chocolate mousse and panna crema. Drinks were also very good made which we as bartenders are very picky with. We had Aperol and Hugo. Atmosphere was very cute and just calming and service was truly exceptional! Overall the best food experience in Firenze.
