Da Mimmo, you absolutely must take advantage of it. Not only will you be able to savor some truly exceptional food, but the attentive staff will ensure that your experience is as perfect as can be. The food is always incredibly fresh, and the atmosphere is truly special - you'll be able to take in the beautiful artwork, including two violins. Make sure to order the appetizers - they're some of the best dishes on the menu! And of course, don't forget to take a look at the two violins, the big one and the little one - they create an atmosphere like no other. So if you have the time, make sure to visit Da Mimmo - you won't regret it!

Da Mimmo was recommended by the GM of the hotel we were staying in & we were not disappointed. It had the home cooked flavour one would expect from most Tuscan eateries. Service staff was very friendly, wines were good, food was tasty makes for a wonderful dinner in Florence.

Very nice, friendly staff, good food. They accommodated us last minute without reservation (we were early, at lunch time). Very tasty zuppa al pomodoro, salami and ham. The tagliata was delicious!

A beautiful restaurant with the most amazing food at exceptionally good prices. I chose the Tuscan menu and what a fantastic choice/surprise it was; a collection of sliced meats accompanied with bruschetta followed by a Florentime steak, perfectly seasoned and cooked and topping it off for dessert, a delicious chocolate torte. All this plus a glass of red wine and a bottle of water for €30.

If you're in Florence, visit this hidden gem, a stones throw from the Duomo but far enough not to be part of the touristic path. Special mention also goes to the host who was very welcoming and also patient as I stumbled my way through trying to speak in Italian.

Extremely pleasant experience ! The food was delicious and the staff was so so nice, they really put us at ease and made our dinner ever so special ; they even offered us limoncello and a good laugh at the end of our meal. The setting is very beautiful, the inside of the restaurant is very impressive, perfect to have a Lemon Spritz ! Would definitely recommend Da Mimmo for a nice, casual, pleasant dinner.

Our hotel clerk (Panorama in Art) recommended this establishment. We were on our first day in Florence and after checking in - this was our first meal. What a great recommendation - we ended up coming back on our last night in florence as well. Great food and great service. The pasta is excellent and the pear and cheese appetizer was astounding.

We went in at 7pm on a Sunday night and got a table right away. Tables start filling in around 8pm. I had the lasagna and it was very good, my wife had the risotto and wasn’t too impressed.

Overall pretty good food and reasonable prices, just a few blocks away from the main tourist restaurants.

The food is excellent. Order the "grandpa cake" to share, you won't be disappointed. House wine is very tasty. The restaurant was nearly empty @1900, seated instantly. It was filled with locals an hour later.

Amazing dinner! We arrived at 8 PM, a little surprised that the restaurant was close to empty. Within an hour, though, it was alive with many locals coming to enjoy a dinner with friends and family. We had a HUGE appetizer of a mixed sampling of meats, cheeses, and bruschetta and then enjoyed pasta and grilled veggies. Would definitely recommend!

I have eaten here twice and it was always a very good experience. It is a family run place and the atmosphere is very relaxed and friendly. The steak was very good. The pear and cheese appetiser was amazing. We also had some delicious pasta and side dishes. Great house wine. Good portions and great value. The location is away from the tourist traps in the center.

Stumbled upon here as very close to our apartment, and was very happy! The starters of pecorino and pears, and lardo bruschetta were very tasty, fresh and large! For secondi, we had aubergine parmigiana and veal cutlet....delicious! Lovely couple owners, beautifully romantic ambience and great vino too! Do it!

I ate twice here in 2 days! The food were delish! The staff are just heartwarmingly welcoming and kind!

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Four of us had an amazing traditional steak, cut at the table. We throughly enjoyed enjoyed time here. Can't fault it. Portions were large, delicious and very reasonably priced.

The 3 course deal was amazing , antipasti was a very generous portion . Florentine 🥩 steak delicious and chocolate cake yummy! Staff were very friendly and polite. Lovely decor!! Would highly recommend

Elegant interior with artistic painted ceilings. Meal was fantastic best yet in Florence.

Staff is patient and understands most english. Food is good, fairly priced. Atmosphere can be loud but that's classic italian as far as I understand it so I appreciate the authenticity.
