Susie helped my sister and I have the best trip ever! She created an itinerary based on our interests in the cities we wanted to visit. She handled all the hotel reservations, Vatican entry tickets, high speed train tickets, and car rental to drive us around the cities that can easily be reached by car. We didn’t know the first thing how to get a train at the train stations, but having Susie there helped tremendously. We had her with us the entire time as we’d never been overseas and didn’t know how to get around or speak Italian. Susie could speak Italian which helped our language barrier with locals who couldn’t speak any or very little English. She is pleasant and sociable with everyone she meets. She knows the history of the places she took us so we got a more personal experience with her as our private tour guide at places like the Vatican, Coliseum, Pantheon, and Leaning Tower of Pisa. Susie probably gives more interesting historical details than a guided group tour guide (my daughter is studying in Siena and just finished a field trip to Rome. She wasn’t told as much detail of the Coliseum by her school group’s tour guide). Susie has favorite restaurants in certain cities so waiters and restaurant owners know her which I think helps give us a more personal experience. We wish we could have stayed longer. If I can ever go back to see more of Italy, I will definitely contact Susie again!

Susie did such an extraordinary job being our tour guide. She translated for us and had taken us to some of the most beautiful places. We couldn’t have had such an amazing vacation if we didn’t have her to guide us. Definitely would recommend her to anyone that is wanting to book an Italy trip!

I would give Susie more stars if they were available! My husband and I hired Susie as our travel planner for a 2-week trip through Italy. We shared cities and experiences we wanted to see with Susie but asked for her input since she’s lived in Italy for over a decade. Susie came through! I truly believe we saw at least twice as much as someone would who travels Italy without her. All hotels, drivers, tour guides, tickets to basilicas, trains & boats were reserved and ready for us. She taught us local etiquette and gave advice on how to stay safe and have no personal belongings stolen. The fact that she can speak Italian helped in so many situations. Susie chose comfortable hotels that were near the major attractions and yet off the beaten path, so it was quiet at night. She knew the back streets in each city, which restaurants had amazing food, and the time of day to visit various attractions so we’d miss the large crowds. And she took pictures along the way so we can relive our trip for years to come. You will SAVE MONEY and see much more of Italy if Susie is your travel planner!

My wife and I have recently completed a three week tour with Susie, and it was the most relaxing, effortless, and enjoyable overseas vacation we have had to date. My husband and I hired Susie for a three day trip in the Florence area. Susie spoke with us about our preferences and interests to plan an itinerary catered to us! We could have not have toured the area as efficiently without Susie as our guide. She is a wealth of information and incredibly professional. Susie made sure we had a true Italian experience, taking us to towns outside of the larger city, and taking us to restaurants mostly known by only the locals. Our experience with Susie at Tuscany Easy Travel was amazing!!! It was a once in a lifetime vacation without the worry or stress of planning a trip. Susie handled all the details and transportation along with making sure we got to see all the sites we really wanted to see plus more. I would highly recommend using her. If you’ve never been to Italy before, especially Tuscany, you will do yourself a big favor by getting a tour guide that knows where to go, how to get there, and help you in make the best of your time. Susie, “the American From Marradi” did just that for us….it was like being welcomed by an old friend to show us around. She is energetic and fun, and considered what we wanted to do, yet showed us sights we would have never thought of. We only had a 3 nights in Florence, and Susie saved us much time and frustration getting around that beautiful city of history and art. She also included lovely day trips through the wine country and to Lucca and San Gimignano…wonderful, quaint, medieval villages…and Pisa. Thank you Susie!

We had an absolutely wonderful time with Susie! Our group only had a short amount of time at our port stops but she was able to help us see and do so much! Susie and her friends are creating something special in Marradi. When six of us booked rooms at Palazzo Torriani in Marradi, the owner suggested that we contact Susie about local activities. An excellent suggestion! Susie collaborated with her local friends to create an itinerary tailored to our interests and schedule. The result was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. Allessandra and her husband Andrea gave us a wonderful evening tour of the nearby medieval village of Brisighella, including a delightful dinner and memorable moonlit view from the high castle. Susie arranged for Lex and Ellen to join our cooking class and dinner the next evening and then guide us on a beautiful and interesting hike the next morning. This was followed by a delightful unscheduled afternoon conversing with them, their son and his friends at a local bar. Allesandra returned for a tour of the local theater and dinner reservations. Susie deftly handled our last-minute changes in transportation and schedules. She could not have been easier to communicate with or more attentive to our interests and needs. Go to Marradi and call Susie!

Susie helped us organize our wedding celebration in the mountain town of Marradi. There was a fantastic cake, photos, celebrations, drinks, appetizers and so more more. We truely felt special as it was a unique event for us. We got to stay at Palazzo Torriani, which is full of so much history. It was a really neat experience.
