An absolutely wonderful stay! This hotel has such a special charm, and such a relaxing approach to luxury. Everything about the design, location, and service puts you at peace and allows you to really relax.

La Guardia is the very definition of a Hidden Gem! Our experience there exceeded expectations in every way. The atmosphere is a combination of laid-back and understated elegance, and quiet luxury. Flaminia and the entire staff were incredibly helpful from the start of the reservation process. They made us feel welcome at every turn. Hint: If the Tagliolini with Lemon Butter and “Bottarga" is still on the menu at the restaurant when you go, it is a must-try First Course! We are already planning our return trip. Amore La Guardia!! We had the best experience staying at La Guardia! The hotel and rooms are beautiful, clean, and calming, and the breakfast is incredible. The staff (especially Aina) were so kind and helpful. We hope to come back someday. Highly recommend.

- Beach terrace needs maintenance

Spent a week at a yoga retreat at the hotel. Everything about my stay was amazing. I had a beautiful modern room with a balcony overlooking the harbor and the sea. The breakfasts were bountiful and varied with delicious fresh fruits. Everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. And of course there was the joy of practicing yoga overlooking the sea!

We have recently returned from a one week stay at La Guardia with our 2 teenage daughters and could not have had a more relaxing time. The simplicity and style of the hotel embodies the nature and grace of a beautiful, unspoilt island which is celebrated in the menu, ambiance, decor and pace of the hotel. The terrace was magical, raised above the beach below, looking out to sea, it was where we enjoyed breakfasts, daytime reads, early evening aperitifs playing cards and dinners. The breeze blowing though, warmed by the sun yet perfectly cooled by the sea was intoxicating as it swayed the grasses and carried the happy sounds of the beach below. The hotel is at the end of the Port's sea front, far enough from the hustle and bustle of the ferry landing but close enough to feel part of the island community. Yoga classes on the hotel's beach veranda were enriched by the touch of the breeze, the gentle sound of waves and the soft evening light. There was plenty to do walking to one of the nearby beaches such as Arenella and Caldane, touring the island by boat or climbing the hill to Giglio Castello. We also made use of the regular island bus service to visit the West side of the island and have wonderful memories, sitting on Campese beach, watching the sun go down. We missed out on the opportunity to visit the island of Giannutri and it's Roman temple and to visit one of Giglio's vineyards. It was a wonderful way to escape the busy-ness of life and relish in simple beauty. Thank you to all the staff at La Guardia. You were welcoming yet unobtrusive and so willing to share your knowledge and passion for the beautiful Island of Giglio. We'll look forward to seeing you soon for our next fix of tranquility!

Stunning! I came on a week-long yoga retreat and fell in love with the magical beauty of the island and Tyrrhenian sea. The hotel is ideally located in the charming port with nice views and refined, eco beach-chic style. It’s the perfect haven with welcoming, warm staff to help plan your days. Their terrace bar offers delicious breakfast and evening aperitivo. We had yoga 2x a day on the open air patio overlooking the sea. Each day we visited a different beach, all with a unique charm and character, and accessible by hike, boat or taxi that is easily arranged. The island is a tiny paradise with outsized options for swimming, hiking, boating, snorkeling, beach-going and dining. LaGuardia is the place to stay!

Very personal hotel. Attentive and super nice staff . A little bussy beach in front of hotel between 14 and 18h because of daily visitors but really tranquil after that.

l'hotel ha una posizione ottima, situato sulla baia del porto ma un po' defilato in zona pedonale tranquilla e silenziosa, con spiaggetta privata.
Offre servizi eccellenti, la struttura è nuovissima e ben arredata, silenziosa e ampia la nostra stanza con vista e balcone, corredata di tutto il necessario.
La colazione di grande qualità su una terrazza meravigliosa!
Suggerisco di provare il ristorante, abbiamo avuto una cena da ricordare, la migliore del nostro soggiorno sull'isola!
Hanno anche un piccolo orto di spezie a supporto dello chef!

Esperienza bellissima! Ho soggiornato un weekend in questo bellissimo Hotel. Posizione eccellente, 2 minuti a piedi dallo sbarco traghetti. Personale sempre gentile e sorridente. Camere ottime. Colazione e cena di ottima qualità. Il soggiorno ideale all'isola del Giglio!

Ho trascorso 2 gg all'Hotel La Guardia in un incerto weekend di maggio. L'hotel, incastonato tra giglio porto e il mare, è una vera oasi di pace.
I plus dell'albergo:
- La grande terrazza che offre delle viste incredibili...io mi sarei fermata li tutto il giorno, è un posto veramente magico arredato con estrema cura e in perfetta sintonia con l'ambiente esterno. E' il posto migliore per fermarsi a leggere un libro, oltre che per degustare un ottimo cocktail in orario aperitivo. La caipirinha al passion fruit era fantastica. Inoltre, scegliete di stare in terrazza anche per la colazione e la cena, la vista dalla terrazza ti toglie il fiato.
- Le camere sono ampie, molto curate, con un design ricercato e grandi finestre che offrono viste incantevoli sul mare o su giglio porto
- La cucina, propone delle ottime e abbondanti colazioni e cene con accostamenti interessanti e ingredienti di qualità. Provate i tagliolini, il gazpacho e la zuppa di pesce, veramente eccezionali! Anche i vini del menu', tutti di isole minori, sono un'ottima proposta. Il ristorante è aperto per cena anche a chi non soggiorna nell'hotel, se siete al Giglio è da provare.
- Il personale dell'hotel è estremamente gentile e preparato, molto attento ai clienti e alle loro esigenze, sempre disponibili.

L'isola del Giglio è bellissima, e lo è ancora di più fuori stagione, con i suoi sentieri fioriti e il mare cristallino e pochi turisti in giro. Nonostante il tempo un po' ballerino siamo riuscite a farci dei bellissimi bagni, l'abbiamo esplorata a piedi e in bici, e ce la siamo veramente goduta. Da ritornarci!

L'hotel è un sogno. Stile minimal e curato in ogni singolo dettaglio, ti fa sentire esattamente dove vorresti essere. Le camere sono spaziose e la posizione sul mare lascia senza fiato! Il personale è gentilissimo e in stagione vengono proposte attività come le lezioni di Yoga sul mare al tramonto, esperienza da non perdere. Ci rivediamo presto!

Tutto. Mi è piaciuto tutto di questo albergo. Camere semplici e curate nei dettagli. Personale giovane, preparato e disponibile. Posizione quasi sulla spiaggia. Abbiamo cenato due sere nel loro ristorante che ci è piaciuto tantissimo. Bravi ragazzi 👏🏻👏🏻
