Honestly the pictures and reviews don’t do this place justice!

Upon arrival you’re greeted with amazing view of the stunning Tuscan countryside, we arrived a little earlier for our meal so got to sit out with the locals sipping away at aperitif’s and snacks and got to know Sabine who made us feel very welcome.

After that we made our way down to outdoor dining area where we got an amazing introduction to the menu, Andrea gave us a informative yet slightly comical overview of the source of the ingredients and a small history of their origins.

We loved the place so much that we also returned for my birthday and I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area, it’s worth a small detour as Sabine and Andrea make it a unforgettable experience.

Great location with typical Toscane view. They serve many local products that taste very nice.
My daughter's were very happy with the gluten-free pasta's and want to come back more often during our stay in the area. I had a local beef with black salt - ooff what a nice piece that was!
Pricing is very affordable (not what I am used in the Netherlands).
Service is also very nice with a lot of explaining (in good English) on the local food and wine.
I can certainly recommend this place!

I would give a 6 out of 5 if I could. We were met with the warmest and friendliest service from the second we walked in. By the end of the night, we felt like family and didn't want to leave. The food was exceptional, but the service was enough. I cannot fault it. The steak was a standout! It's a spectacular showcase of the local produce and local hospitality. I hope I can come back, and I will be recommending it to everyone I can. Grazie mille. And shukran!

Great authentic tuscan food! Also, the owner is really fun and greets you with some funny banter. We ordered 2 courses and for that the prices were definitely justified.

One of the best places for a local sourced meal and with an amazing view of the toscana landscape.
Andrea is your host and will make you have an excellent evening, if only for a coffe or a drink is one of those places worth stopping by just to enjoy life.

After 12 days in Tuscany, Andrea’s restaurant was the best food experience our travelling party of 12 people did try. The Knowledge of food and wine was fantastic, also to take the time to explain the menu for us Norwegians that are used to different style of food than the Italian style was highly appreciated. Especially loved the pasta with blue cheese combined with the local wine from Sator!

Last minute stop for lunch. The sun was shining enough to sit on the outdoor terrace, beautiful view. Great food! Great service.

It is a pitty I can give maximum 5 stars only, this place is worth at least 500! Unforgettable place located in an ancient building on the top of a hill offering beautiful views to the Tuscanian wine yards, olive groves, valleys and hills all around. Visitors are warmly welcomed and seated at tables in a cozy environment either inside or on the terrace with tasteful music playing in the background. The whole magical atmosphere of this place is then only perfectly complemented by the excellent kitchen offering local products and specialties in the quality of Michelin experience cuisine.

Fabulous place. The staff is very professional and nice. We had a dinner for two and it was perfect. If you are near Lorenzana this is a restaurant you need to visit and try the local cuisine. Can't recommend enought. Also the prices are very good for the delicious food. Thank you!

It is a really good place. The atmosphere is great, it really feels like a local osteria. The service is very nice, we were recommended local wines and the waitress really know each one of them, really helpful to decide.
Among the things we ate, the gran crudo (plate of meats) appetizer and the Panna Cotta in desert were super tasteful. The rest was also very good too!

Fabulous food in the heart of Lorenzana - this unassuming café turns into a top culinary experience at night! Andrea, the owner, and his lovely wife Sabine have a passion for everything local. All that we ate from starters to mains and deserts was carefully selected and delicious, wine choice was perfect and the hospitality of them both was high even for Italian standards. We felt really at home at Vecchi Sapori! (Andrea is also great at suggesting things to see in the area and both with Sabine speak perfect English). Totally worth a late evening dinner at least once!

What a find! Best food we've had in Italy, everything is provided by local producers, nothing from the supermarket. Sabine and Andrea are wonderful, fun and worldly hosts. Lovely place with great service and delicious food

Best restaurant in the area by far. Not the usual menu, which changes every two months but the very best produce of the area and great value too all in a lovely outdoor setting. Well worth seeking out.

Make sure you stop there for dinner when visiting the area around Pisa! We were looking for a restaurant offering authentic Tuscan food and we were not disappointed. Not only was the food good, we were also treated like royalty.
