Suddenly heaven

Wonderful Airbnb located just outside of the quaint small town of Solarino about 20 minutes from Siracusa. This Airbnb was the perfect quiet getaway. We were the sole occupants of one of four small apartments adjacent to a scenic saltwater infinity pool overlooking Floridia, Siracusa, Ortigia and the Mediterranean Sea. The owners also own a home on the property and were extremely hospitable and very accommodating. In addition to the pool, the property is equipped with many fruit trees which the owners were gracious enough to offer us and let us pick fruit from. The apartment is small but well laid out with modern finishes and a small but decently equipped kitchen. New appliances including a gas range, oven, fridge with freezer and espresso machine. Large shower with plenty of hot water and a washer in the bathroom. Good A/C. We stayed here for 2 weeks and, again, can’t say enough good things about the owners of the property. They were kind, generous and very accommodating to our every request. We were lucky enough to be invited to a Sunday pranzo which was delicious. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely stay again. Other recommendations include eating dinner in Solarino at Vita Cucina Paesana followed by dessert, specifically a cannolo, at Mangiafico.
