We have stayed for a week in august, I've rarely had such a relaxing experience and great beach vacation in Europe!

🎨 True professionals have worked on the design and landscaping of this "Seagull" hotel. Even with the occupancy of 200 guests, we didn't feel overcrowded.

🏖 The beach is very spacious, you never fight to find an umbrella and a sun chair, it is included in the hotel price (true luxury in Europe)! Plenty of chilling spaces outside to enjoy the beautiful view. Enjoying the starry sky at the beach at night topped it up! A remark : constant reggaeton music at the bar spoils the calm a bit (I found the South Italy too noisy, in general), but you can always find a further spot.

🏡The Garden view house was lovely, with a private terrase, but the 20+ sq m room felt a bit small for a couple with a child. Bigger appartments were occupied and anyway too expensive for us.

🌊 We were lucky with the weather, the sea was perfect the 5 days, turquoise, cristalline water, stormy only at the end.

🏓 It was not a problem for us to stay on premises - the beautiful sea, the pool and activites (table tennis, petanque, darts, aqua gym, evening shows... proposed by animators for adults and kids) were more than enough for us. And it is not "cheezy" as in other hotels with animation. The English fluency though could be improved.

🚴You can take their bikes (check the tires! and functioning) and ride towards the lighthouse Faro where the views of Capo Vaticano will take your breath away!

🚆You can also visit Tropea. Cheaper option is by train from Ricadi station - ask to take electric cart up to the road and then a short walk to the station.

🍽 The meals at the restaurant (we payed half board : breakfast 8-10 and dinner 20-22) were excellent! Tasty veggie buffet and you can choose the main dishes from the menu (it is included).

⭐ The vibe with the guests is that of a 5-star hotel.

Very relaxing atmosphere. We were there as"normal" folks. That is, we were not "Halbpension". The guests were predominantly German speaking (Swiss, Austrian and German).
The service was very good and the people were very friendly. We had a wonderful view from our terrace (seaview via the garden).
It was wonderfully quiet at night.
It is advisable to rent a car. There is plenty to see in the area.

Fantastic stay. Great for families, highly recommend. Almost all of staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Very clean accommodations with daily servicing. Wished we would have stayed 5/6 nights instead of only 4. We stayed in a quadruple room and there was plenty of room for us. Fun baby/kids dance and trivia/games/show every night. Cushions at the show area would be nice. One more coffee machine in breakfast area would alleviate line for coffee in morning. On way in, google maps had us turn down a really narrow tunnel, we weren’t sure if correct (it actually was and sprinter buses can fit through it) so we went to San Nicolo center and called reception, who immediately sent someone to find us and escort us back to resort. Cappuccino, drinks and snacks at the bar were wonderful. Dinner fantastic, recommend the first course pasta with mint, and red onions and Tuna for second. Try a Tartufo dessert, you will not be disappointed! Make sure to take an excursion either by boat, car or train to Tropea. We rented a car in Lamezia and were happy to have car for the excursion but only used that one day so not really needed unless you want to stock up at store or just like having your own vehicle.

Good hotel with own beach.
- Hotel: Clean and a good service. Older rooms are a bit small. Animation for children every evening.
- Facilities: Hotel beach, table tennis, boccia, a small gym and more.
- Staff: Very friendly.

Nice rooms, close to an almost sandy beach. Restaurant is okay, the menu is changing daily with 5 different options

Super Standort, beim Frühstücken kann man das Meer beobachten und auch deutlich hören, wunderschöne Zimmer und sehr freundliches Personal. Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte, wäre das die nächste Stadt 10 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt ist. Ansonsten war das Hotel perfekt.

Wir haben 9 Tage im Oktober in diesem wunderschönen kleinen Resort verbracht und sind uns sicher, dass wir sowohl nach Kalabrien als auch in dieses Hotel zurückkehren werden! Sehr großes und modernes Zimmer mit Meerblick ist zu empfehlen! Die Anlage ist super gepflegt und mega sauber. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Gäste mit Halbpension können sich aussuchen, ob man abends oder mittags isst. Am Abend zuvor kann man sich eins von 6 Vorschlägen an primero plati und 1 von 6 an secundo plati aussuchen. Sollte nichts dabei sein, kann man sich jede Pizza aus der Karte aussuchen. Ein Dessert gibt es danach auch. Und die Vorspeise wird als Büfett angeboten. Wir sind immer lecker satt geworden! Preise für die Getränke sind ok.
Man könnte an der Nachhaltigkeit arbeiten und die Gäste entscheiden lassen, ob sie die Handtücher noch gebrauchen wollen und nicht einfach jeden Tag austauschen. Ansonsten gibt es Nix zu meckern.
Am hoteleigenen Strand gibt es genug Liegen, der Strand ist schön, man kann hier gut schnorcheln, die Fische werden abgefüttert. Wenn man allerdings nicht nur am Strand bleiben möchte, ist ein Mietwagen ein Muss!
Wir waren in Tropea, Gerace, Zungri, Scilla und auf den Äolischen Inseln. In Tropea kann man auch gut Parasailing machen- sehr zu empfehlen bei Passione Sud Travel👌
Es war ein sehr schöner Urlaub!

Sehr saubere Anlage mit Pools, Bar, kleinem Markt, Gaststätte und eigenem, sehr sauberen Strand.
Um die 60 Wohnungen liegen um einen kleinen Park, sind klimatisiert und neu. Viel Personal bemüht sich um die Gäste und da der Weg zur Straße sehr steil ist, fahren Golfcars auf Wunsch nach oben. Nach Tropea gibt's einen Shuttle Bus vom Hotel.

Capita raramente di trovare villaggi di cosi elevato range. Bellissima location e ben curata, giardino fenomenale. Bellissima piscina con trattamento a idrolisi salina con acqua di mare, (sono nel settore).
ottimo trattamento alberghiero, camere pulitissime e ben curate. ristorante eccelso, menù differenziatibe vari ogni giorno. Mai gli stessi cibi "riciclati" al buffet.Pizzeria con forno a legna ottima. Colazioni eccelse, ottima pasticceria. Prezzi onesti per gli extra bevande al tavolo e al bar.
Gentilezza e simpatia di tutto il personale. Bel mare e bella spiaggia tenuta maniacalmente pulita e ordinata. Servizio bagnino.

Ich habe das Haus als sehr gepflegt und angenehm empfunden. Haben Halbpension gehabt. Essen war gut. Ebenso das Zimmer.
Mitarbeiter waren sehr aufmerksam und freundlich.

Tolles feines kleineres Hotel. Sehr gepflegt und alles ist sehr sauber. Wir hatten ein Dreibett mit Balkon und Meerblick. Sehr grosse Dusche für 2 Personen mit auch 2 Duschen👍. Strand top und sehr Ruhig. Frühstück ausreichend einzig wäre es schön etwas länger denn in den Ferien bis 10:00 Uhr bzw dann verkürzt bis 09:30 Uhr ist knapp. Essen ansonsten Top egal ob Pizza oder anderes. Leckerer Aperol mit Plate sensationell in dem Panorama. Alles gut organisiert und wird möglich gemacht. Shuttle nach Tropea auch verfügbar für 5€ Kinder bis 10 Jahre und Erw. 10€ hin und zurück. Danke für die tollen Tage

Kleine feine Anlage direkt am Strand. Die Aussicht ist super, das Meer glasklar und nett zum schnorcheln.
Unser geräumiges Zimmer ( junior suite) ist sauber und gepflegt
Das kalabrische Buffet vom gestrigen Abend samt Livemusik war toll.

Ein perfekter Ort. Sauber, gepflegt, freundliches Personal. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind der Hammer. Wir hatten Zimmer 31 und gucken jeden Abend von der Terrasse direkt in den Sonnenuntergang. Das Villaggio Il Gabbiano können wir jedem nur empfehlen. Sehr familienfreundlich.

Super Anlage 👍👍👍tiptop Lage. Kein Massentourismus. Schöne Zimmer. Sehr guter Zimmersevice (super geputzt wird)lecker Essen. Ich hoffe es bleibt auf Jahre so. Kommen wieder. 👌👌👌

Es un muy lindo hotel, con un paisaje maravilloso. Lo mas destacado es la atención del personal.
La sugerencia es que deberian sectorizar las parejas que van solos y las que van con niños, somos publicos diferentes con otros tiempos de descanso y relax.
En cuanto al personal de limpieza se comunican a los gritos, no tienen respeto, no entienden, que uno paga estos lugares para DESCANSAR.
