Matteo planned a trip that perfectly matched what we thought our vacation should be. His suggested activities were spot on. The towns in Tuscany that he recommended were ones that would have taken me hours to search out but were ones we would not have wanted to miss. The 2 towns he recommended guides were definitely necessary and the guides were two of the best guides we have ever had. Impeccable English with lots of local information. When the hotel for my meeting filled up, he found us a new one just down the street that was much better! Restaurant recommendations were small local venues with amazing food. Rental car had all the bells and whistles and Apple Play so we did not get lost in the countywide once. The hotels were all historic and ones I don’t think I could have found on my own but all had the old world charm we were looking for. Car services were all on time with great cars and drivers. I will definitely recommend Matteo to any of my friends who love good wine and food!

Upon first reaching out to Discover your Italy and meeting Lucia, we immediately felt like we were going to be in good hands. She asked a couple of questions and put together an itinerary that we will always remember. We knew we were going to be taken care of when the car service that she arranged dropped us off in Venice to a waiting boat (water taxi) that looked and felt like a limo. The location of all of the hotels were great and their service, using WhatsApp, checked in with us to make sure everything was going as expected. All of the tour guides were top notched and we didn't know that we would learn so much about Italy in such a short time. One of the highlights was the cooking class she setup for my wife and I. Meeting the chef in the market and having an espresso while taking in the sights, smells, and tastes of the market made for a great start. The dishes we made were wonderful and we have already bought everything to remake it here for our friends. Discover your Italy was recommended to us and we will definitely recommend them to others. our meal in SCIACCA at Hostaria del Vicolo, the best meal of our trip and given the food in Sicily that is high praise;

our boat tour in TAORMINA on La Rosa dei Venti, the scenery from the Ionian Sea view of the coastline was gorgeous and swimming in the Ionian Sea was a once in a lifetime experience;

the walking tour of PALERMO with our guide Chiara visiting the markets and tasting the foods and enjoying the city center

the cooking class in SIRACUSA enjoying the whole process of shopping, cooking and of course the final meal

This was our first trip to Sicily, if we could change anything it would be the more time spent in SCIACCA and the days of the week we were in TAORMINA. We were in Taormina on a Saturday & Sunday when crowds were at their peak.

Matteo and his associates at DiscoveryourItaly have the ability to bring life and meaning into each destination of your trip without having the hassle of trying to figure everything out! They personally customize each trip to meet your interests and budget. The guides in each city were so knowledgeable and friendly as they revealed the real gem and history of each city. The food, people, buildings, churches, and artwork. The highlight of my trip shopping the local markets and preparing a meal in a chef's Venitian kitchen. We talked, cooked, laughed, and ate like old friends. What a wonderful memory!

Each hotel was clean and came with a beautiful breakfast each morning. The travel agency provides your itinerary at your fingertips with a traveling app equipped with directions, meeting times, places, and top-notch restaurant recommendations. They are with you at a moment's notice via WhatsApp for assistance with directions or clarification. It made it so easy to have all of the transfers prearranged and ready to go! We would not plan a trip without using DiscoveryourItaly! We appreciate Matteo and his associates for another wonderful trip!

Matteo listened to what I wanted and the trip he planned went beyond my dreams. We had the most wonderful time in Italy. When we first met with Matteo, we shared the places we wanted to visit and the experiences we wanted to have on this, or 40th anniversary trip. We stressed that we also wanted this to be a time of relaxation for us. With that in mind, Matteo helped us pair down the trip with the perfect number of activities and outings and days off, while providing suggestions of things to do on those days if we wished to.
The trip could not have been more perfect. Every interaction we had with Matteo and his team was professional, friendly, and helpful. The hotels we stayed in were first class, the restaurant suggestions were local places with excellent food and ambiance at affordable prices. The activities were wonderfully suited to us! We so enjoyed spending time with each of the personal tour guides who were knowledgeable and very personable.
People have asked if it was "the trip of a lifetime". While I know that they are asking if it was everything we dreamed of, and the answer is, "yes", my answer is, "I certainly hope not because we definitely want to go back again", and of course, we will be using Matteo and Discover Your Italy!

Matteo and his team put together the trip of a lifetime for me and my family. It was no easy task and he was the only agent (out of 10 I spoke to) that was able to book this trip. We were 14 people with 2 children under 5 years old looking to take a week-long trip to Italy and booking during the most busy season (booking May 2022 for Aug 2022). Matteo was responsive, efficient, and designed an itinerary that met all requirements and came in right on budget. There was no comparison in the level of service and professionalism to the other American and Italian travel agencies I attempted to use.

When the trip began, Matteo created a WhatsApp channel for me and his customer service staff to communicate should anything need to be changed. The Discoveryouritaly team would respond within minutes and gracefully handled delays due to inclement weather and even an illness in the group. Everything was seamless. Once the trip started I didn’t need to worry about a thing. Big thanks to Barbara for being our angel during the trip. Amazing Service! We had the best 10th year wedding anniversary trip thanks to them. We heavily rely on their planning without much of homework, we just told them what we enjoy and they came back with amazing hotels/excursions/restaurants to offer. Each of them truly cares about customer, they just want you to have the best trip. We ran into unforeseen flight cancelation and trip delay, and they took care of everything: rearrangements with just text away. Every drive we met has something unique to offer, hotels they pick was just amazing and tour guides are so knowledgeable. Every day, we had something fun and different experiences from day before, all I need to worry is what to wear that day! I was introduced to Discover Your Italy travel agency through Zicasso in 2019. I then saw a writeup of the company in a Travel & Leisure article about recommended travel agencies in Italy and was hooked. Daniela and her team were amazing... the service and support they provided in preparation of our trip was reassuring all through the Covid pandemic as we originally started planning our anniversary trip for May 2020, rebooked it for 2021 and then again for 2022.

Once we arrived in Italy this year, Daniela set up a WhatsApp Chat with me and my wife so we always felt we had our agent by our side at all times. This was invaluable and comforting when we had trouble locating one of our excursion guides because we were standing on opposite street corners or when we asked them to speak in Italian to our taxi driver who couldn't find the meeting point for our boat excursion. Our trip was 5Star + and stress-free with their "white glove" service.

With Matteo at the helm, we experienced more amazing, over-the-top service and care than we ever have during our many previous travels. From transportation, transfers and tours to lodging, location and communication, we were constantly impressed. Matteo and team booked us a fabulous tour across Italy. We visited Tuscany, Cinque Terra, Florence and Rome. Matteo was patient in working through our itinerary initially, making revisions to better suit our interests and preferences. In Tuscany, he let us know our time there would coincide with the Palio di Siena and was able to secure us tickets to view a trial from a window overlooking the square. There is no way we would have been able to figure this out without him, as it was a window on the second floor of a tiny office. The view was phenomenal. Across the rest of our trip, we had many guided tours, whether biking through Tuscany, hiking through Cinque Terra, or visiting historical sites. Our Florence guide had received a graduate degree abroad, loved her city, and our experience was akin to being on tour with a friendly college professor. She set the high bar, but all of our tour guides were uniformly kind, dependable, and knowledgable. Lastly, Matteo and his team continued to be so helpful when we were on the ground in Italy. They were very responsive on WhatsApp. One day there was a taxi strike in Rome, so they scrambled to try to find us a driver to our food tour. They patiently made and changed dinner reservations for us. Overall, we had a great experience working with them and highly recommend!

A friend suggested I look into DiscoverYourItaly when planning my Honeymoon and after looking at their website I knew they would plan a beautiful trip for us. After having a zoom-meeting with Luca, we quickly got our program and quote. We requested a change to our program and our new itinerary was sent over in a timely fashion. Luca, Barbara, and Andrea were helpful leading up to and during our trip.

During the trip itself, we had wonderful tours, particularly at the Colosseum and in Cinque Terre. We stayed in beautiful hotels with friendly and helpful staff. We had a wonderful trip and would book with DiscoverYourItaly again in a heartbeat!

I contacted Daniela through DiscoverYourItaly/Zicasso and was immediately confident my first trip to Italy was going to be well planned and cared for by herself, and her company/partnerships.
