Al Battibecco

One of my all time favourite venues!! They make a huge fire, scoop out the coals and the bbq. You can even choose from pre-cut pieces. Lamb chops, t-bone, pork belly and flatty chicken on the fire. Top it off with homemade tiramisu!!!
Price is equal to quality. Great for families, small and large groups. "Salt and Pepper" kitchen. Nothing fancy just quality!!!

I've been loving this place since I moved to Perugia.
Place is huge and there's a nice space between tables.
Food is very good.
Last time I got "tagliata di manzo aceto balsamico e rucola" media cottura, it was delicious.
Dessert I got profiteroles 😍 sooooo good!

A great place just outside Perugia with a big outside terrace/garden for spring/summer/fall lunch and dinning. The food is local Umbrian/Italian kitchen. I can particularly recommend their different meats from the "simple" tagliata with ruccola" to their dry aged beef which is absolutely fab and cooked over open fire. As for starters try their tagliere which is cold cut meats and very typical. When ordering wine try going for a local Montefalco, either Rosso or Sagrantino depending on budget and power of wine you like.

Great pizza frutti di mare! What a pity I could not drink wine! (driver....) Waiter forgot to serve tea to my colleague ;) but atmosphere realy nice, cosy surrounding.

Great place! Large and lively.
I had braciole (perfectly cooked) with roasted potatoes and zuppa inglese for desert.
Others in the party ate tagliata di manzo, pizza, baccalà, tagliolini al ragù rosso - for desert: panna cotta, crema catalana, cheesecake, profiteroles, sorbetto - everybody enjoyed their meal. Great service. Great choice of beer.
I would recommend this restaurant.
