Ravelli Hotel & Lodges

We spent less than a week in the hotel. Altogether it was a great experience. At first we were not impressed by this hotel just next to an heavy traffic road...that's not exactly what we were looking for. But that was a first impression as in the room, no noise from the road. The room was nice, mountain modern style, spacious. The food in the hotel is extremely good, wines are at a very reasonable price and the owner will greet each table every night and provide care and attention. The spa / wellness seems to be good but we only went to the swimming pools which are quite limited in space.
The hotel organizes activities each day and sometimes twice a day: in the morning and afternoon: ebiking, hiking, rafting, walk, farm visit with barbecue, etc. These activities involve local guides some are free of charge.
Don't miss the rafting.
The activities are very well organized and is a clear differentiation with other hotels, a real plus. We truly appreciated.
So, the highlights were the food, the room, the activities, the owner care, and the very good and smiling service (restaurant and reception).

I rarely write reviews, but this time my stay was exceptional. Apart from things you can expect from a good hotel here are things this hotel was exceptional at:
- very friendly stuff - everyone was genuinely friendly and the hotel is small enough to give you homely atmosphere
- great dinners - half board menu is really worth the money, it looked and tasted great
- amazing adults only spa - we really enjoyed aufguss with Valentina after whole day of skiing. She really knows what she's doing and the sauna gets properly hot. There are amazing views from the relaxation room!
- hassle free - we visited as 4 couples and I really liked that we had the same dinner table reserved for the whole stay. There are also other small things like cakes in the afternoon which are a blessing when you're coming back from skiing and you're starving before dinner:)

Overall we had a wonderful stay during half term. Despite the overall ski resort probably being at it's busiest, the hotel itself never felt overcrowded.

The team work incredibly hard and it all runs like clockwork.

The breakfast buffet is on the small side, but each choice is delicious, with freshly made omelettes and pancakes available.

Dinner was also top quality with a delicious range from the set menu catering for picky kids too. Waiting staff were all super attentive.

The room we stayed in (family suite) was plenty but enough for a family of four with two older kids in a bunk bed. Comfy and well equipped.

The jewel in the crown was the lovely warm outdoor pool with views over the valley. Such a brilliant way to relax into the evening after a day in the slopes.

The adults only facilities were also fantastic, but we preferred the family pool so we could chill out as a group.

The only slight drawback is having to get a bus to Marilleva to get the lift up - Be warned, the queues can get crazy if you leave it too late, but if you can find a good rhythm and avoid the queues then you should be fine.

Overall a fantastic place. We were incredibly happy there for the week.

Just returned from a wonderful week at Hotel Ravelli. The rooms were modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable. The restaurant was great. Excellent selection of high quality food at breakfast and dinner. We had the loveliest waitress Luisa, who looked after us so well all week, and a warm welcome from Mr Ravelli every day. All the staff were helpful throughout our stay. The outdoor pools are very warm and great for post-ski relaxation. The hotel was nearly full yet never felt busy or chaotic; everything ran so smoothly all week. It was an absolute pleasure to stay there.

Quick note about the skiing. The ski bus stops directly outside the hotel. It is the closest stop to the gondola station and can get busy at certain times of the day. There are also a couple of ski lifts which are a real bottleneck at peak morning/afternoon times. We got stuck in AWFUL queues coming home the first day (it was probably the busiest week of the season). So it's worth heading out/ home a little early if you want to avoid this. We got a voucher from the hotel for a free ski locker at Marilleva 1400 which was very convenient. The skiing itself was perhaps the most beautiful resort we have skied in the last 20 years. Stunning scenery and good food at reasonable prices.

Overall an absolutely brilliant holiday, and having this fantastic hotel to return to every afternoon made our trip even more memorable. Don't hesitate to book it!

Had an amazing stay, half board food was next level, the staff were friendly and very well organized. The adult only spa area and Valentina's sauna seances were a highlight! Grazie!

Great family-owned hotel in Mezzana. We have been here many times and it's always a pleasure to stay at Ravelli. The entire staff is very friendly and the rooms and facilities are well maintained. They are also continuously updating with the new adults only spa being the latest addition.
The hotel is situated on a busy main road a bit away from ski lifts but a shuttle bus stop is right in front of it.

Our family had a great time. All very relaxed. Kind attentive and friendly staff , kind family Ravelli. Luxury hotel, very nice new spa and sauna with aufguss. New year evening was fantastic and a perfect evening. Enjoyed every second.

Wonderful wellness hotel. We stayed for a week. The host is very involved and makes ask everyone how his/her day was at dinner time.

Service overall was great, the staff is very helpful and kind.

The wellness was very luxe, with different kind of sauna and sauna infusions.

This was my 4th year at Ravelli Hotel and I can say that it was the best year yet.
We stayed in the Lodge and it was sublime!
I can say that the star of our stay was the new Adults Only SPA - it’s simply Divine❤.
Everything was amazing, lodge was clean daily, the food was amazing, the staff super thoughtful and Mr Ravelli made us feel like VIP’s.

Amazing place to stay where the staff is super hospitable and the rooms are clean. Dinner is great and can accommodate for vegetarians. They are building a new adult spa to be opened in December 2023 so there is some noise from that but it wasn’t bothering us. Outside pool is lovely and relaxing.

The location is great to take some hikes if you drive within a 30 minute radius.

We had a lovely family holiday in this beautiful hotel. Even though it is not a small hotel, the whole family (even grandmama) gave us a very warm and welcoming feeling.
The excellent staff was very friendly and kind to us and the children. No request was to much (Sakinat was very patient with us 😉) !
Everybody went over the moon being helpful, even though the hotel was completely booked out!
The new sauna landscape was terrific! Dennis was a good ‘Saunameister’ and we loved the “Aufguss”!
We enjoyed a fantastic massage, they took all the tension and worries away!
It was hard to say goodbye after being spoiled for a whole week 🥰‼

We’ve spent our holiday in this amazing hotel. Alfredo and his staff make sure everything is arranged for a perfect holiday. The food is extraordinary, rooms are super clean, Alex and Mariana at the cocktail bar are perfect hosts for a nice evening and day at the pool. The service at the reception and the restaurant is out of this world, they help you with anything from advice for activities to watching our son dance in the hall. The pool and welness are the place to be for an afternoon swim and we can advise to book a massage. Mister Alfredo and your team, thank you for giving us this great Mountain Experience! Absolutely amazing hotel!
Excellent service, delicious regional food, huge spa center (really like outside pool). Very pet friendly (very grateful for welcome gift for our dog!).
If the owners searches areas to improve - would be nice to have more variety in breakfast menu, for example it could be different every other day.

I read about the history of the place on the website: almost a century of commitment, dedication, eye for detail and care for customers. This care is put into practice by Cinzia and Alfredo II, omnipresent in the reception, restaurant, and SPA, ensuring what Italians beautifully describe: BELLA SENSAZIONE for the hotel guests. However, beyond the fabulous atmosphere, in the same story, you can't help but notice, every evening, a discreet but radiant, distinguished presence - mamma Gina -. She's always there making sure everything follows the epic Ravelli thread. And the story has everything it needs to charm you forever: leisure, relaxation, Italian gastronomic fascination.

Very nice hotel in the middle of südtirol. Dinner was fantastic, lots of choice for breakfast. The room we had was small but comfortable. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Lots of facilities and very clean. Can definitely recommend!

Every dinner an original fine dining experience with good choice of wine pairing. Beautiful renovated interiors with bold use of natural wood, amazing outdoor pool with hot water and large indoor pool. Outstanding cleanliness. At the same time a great choice for families with kids. Wonderful hotel to boost your skiing holidays to perfection.

We booked the hotel with breakfast and dinner. This was an amazing dinner and friendly people. And always interested what we did during the day and they gave advice for activities in the region.

Parking is free. And you can park your car on the front of the door.

There is an inside swimming pool. And a small outside swimming pool. It's always nice to use it at the end of the day.

There is an e-bike rental in the neighbourhood, so we did some biking tours in the area. We really recommend that.

Also, we did rafting. There are rafts at different levels. We did the two levels. Very enjoyable. With some evidence because they took some pictures 📸.

Hiking is possible with amazing hiking trails. Everything is nearby. So bring good walking shoes 👞.

We were looking forward for this stay and were absolutely happy with this experience. Beautiful modern rooms, kids just love it, private jacuzzi on awesome terrace was just nice bonus, delicious dinner on halfboard. Wellness is just superb, super temperature with perfect view. Definately worth the money. Huge recommendation!!

Beautiful new hotel, amazing spa, clean and cozy room M pony the restaurant could be improved, waiters a bit lost... For the rest, all.good!
