Now this was something unexpected. We were in search for authentic Tuscany region food and we were treated by this place..

Everything we ordered was soo good that we didn't even leave a crumb in the plates. We ordered few items from each category. The waitress was so helpful that she guided us literally on what to pick.
Pizza, pasta, salad, steak, bakes vegetables, crembrule, tiramusu

Would recommend anyone coming to Monetcartini to try this place.

Very very happy! The food is not expensive but it is absolutely wonderful as is the wine. Lots of choice! Really authentic Tuscan restaurant. Lovely staff. Highly recommended.

We had a large group this trip and went out to explore restaurants for dinner. The first one could not accommodate this many people so we had to look for another. A random Italian guy pushing a stroller saw we were a bit lost and told us to follow him to this restaurant. He went inside, spoke to the owner (who is not only a sommelier but the owner as well) and assured us we would not be disappointed. All I can say is we were definitely NOT disappointed. It was so absolutely amazing that we went back to eat 3 additional times. The atmosphere was very clean and inviting. The service was wonderful and professional. And the food was delicious. If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and make this a must go to. You will be so happy you did.

Very large menu, family style restaurant with owners serving customers. Everything we had was quite great, in grandma like style of cooking.

We found Trattoria Il Vicolo later into our trip which was a pity because we would've visited more than twice! Our search for authentic and regional Italian food brought us to Il Vicolo and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced so we ate and drank too much.

Popped in as always wanted to visit a trattoria, tried not to be put off by some bad reviews. Best decision ever. Food is very good, value for money, definitely worth it.

I am writing this whilst a little bit "giddy" thanks to the delicate white house wine! We came back after a delicious meal last night of the pesto gnocchi and the maccheroni spinati all maremana (sausage and fennel).
Tonight they exceeded our expectations with the caprese antipasti, veggi risotto and the veal Milanese.
So pleased we found you! Real Italian food, cooked by real Italians for Italians (and tourists!). Fabulous or, as Nonna says, Perfetta!

Ended up eating dinner here twice on our recent trip to the area. The staff was excellent, the food and wine selection was wide, and the value was among the best that we had during our entire stay in Italy. Definitely a place to eat if you are in the area. And good luck to the young man who was our server both times as you look to your future!

Nice, quiet and romantic. Outside seating is lovely at night. The steak was perfect and so was the caprese!!! We would definitely go often if we lived here.

Lovely restaurant serving great Tuscany food at really low prices. Tucked away off the main streets and easily missed. We thought it was so cheap it just couldn't be good - thank goodness we went in! Great steaks and fish, thin pizzas and huge range of other food. Wine very cheap too. Opens at 19.00 and all tables taken by 19.45 or so - going early or booking is essential. We loved it.

Have eaten here several times and everything has been great. Service is good, as well as the prices. Just off the main road and not far from the Montecatini square. Really loved their carbonara!

Fantastic food with superbly friendly sinora. Very homey, fantastic cost performance ratio. My wife loved so much she ended up having two steaks.

I’m an Australian /Italian looking for great tasting typical Italian food with responsabile prices. Wow did we find it. Local food great prices in a beautiful relaxed Italian atmosphere. I recommend you to eat here .

Found this purely by accident and were so glad we did. The food was wonderful, all four of us enjoyed every course, leaving only empty plates. This family run restaurant was good value and the staff were friendly and very sociable, with a good sense of humour. We had a lovely evening and kept them later than we meant. Thank you all and we will definitely come again if we return to the region. Also thought it very good value, only 3 euros for dessert!!!

Excellent restaurant and relatively cheap in the area. Excellent pizza, pasta, meat and fish.
