Agriturismo San Giovanni

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. We stayed here for 10 amazing days in September of 2019, and we didn't want to leave! The property is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The units are large and spotlessly clean. There is so much to do in the surrounding area. Even after 10 full days, we still had so much more that we wanted to check out. Giovanni let us watch and help a little the wine-making process. He also let my son ride in his tractor, which was a big hit! He was very friendly, though he spoke almost no English and we spoke almost no Italian, we figured out how to communicate just fine. We can't wait to visit again once COVID is under control!

Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment in a renovated property but with all the modern amenities, including a dishwasher.

We visited in September and absolutely enjoyed the property, the views and the location which was a great base for our Tuscan travels. Loved waking up in the morning, making a pot of coffee and sipping outside while watching the countryside.

The hosts were very welcoming and ensured we had an enjoyable stay. They did not speak any English but were able to call their son to help with some of the translation when needed.

I would just note that the WiFi was not great but we were able to make it work with our cellular network. The drive up to the property is long, steep and unpaved but we had a rental, so it didn't bother me much. I wouldn't recommend driving here with a personal luxury vehicle, however, that pretty much goes for most of Tuscany.

Highly recommend this property. Make sure to leave room in the suitcase for the olive oil. We brought back two canisters plus a bottle of wine!

If you miss your host after leaving it means it was a special time you shared with him. Giovanni is one of the most generous, cheerful and friendly man we have ever met. We visited many towns and villages in Tuscany (my first time and my wife's ninth) and there's no other place we felt a real soul of the region more than in "Agriturismo San Giovanni". Indeed, Siena, Pisa are highlights but no city can compete with an authentic, idyllic and calm property out of clamour, surrounded by an olive grove, tucked away in the majestic hills of Tuscany. I won't speak about all advantages of an amazing full equipped apartment we rent. That's obvious. Giovanni produces also delicious Grappa, Vin Santo, red wine, virgin olive oil, prosciutto. He has eggs, figs, grapes, lemons, pomegranates, basils, tomatos and much more he will share with you. What's more on the day of our arrival a special gift awaited us in the kitchen. I hope some day we will come back to chill out at the swimming pool facing the olive grove and listen to the sound of cicadas.

Io e il mio compagno siamo ciclisti e abbiamo trovato questa struttura in una posizione strategica per i nostri giri in bici, completamente ristrutturata è accogliente, pulita e moderna con una fantastica piscina. I proprietari sono molto gentili, accoglienti e attenti ad ogni particolare. Colazione spettacolare con prodotti tipici e torte fatte in casa, tutto freschissimo e buonissimo. Consiglio vivamente di provarla.

Giovanni e la sua famiglia sono persone veramente straordinarie, ti mettono a tuo agio non ti fanno mancare nulla. L'appartamento era pulito completo di ogni utensile per la cucina. Cucina ampia, camera da letto spaziosa per tre persone. Piscina impeccabile, giardino curato . L'olio che produce Giovanni è molto buono, oltre al buon vino, la grappa al limone e il vin santo. una famiglia che vuole rilassarsi e staccare la spina dal caos quotidiano l'agriturismo San Giovanni è il luogo ideale.

Giovanni è molto premuroso e sicuramente trascorrerete la vostra vacanza con buon vino, grappa, frutta degli alberi e verdura dell orto. Casa stupenda, accogliente e fornita di tutto. Pulitissima. Ho alloggiato nell" appartamento Glicine che è proprio fronte piscina e il gazebo personale era accanto così potevo mangiare fuori guardando un panorama unico e una quiete infinita. Consigliatissimo!!

In posto immerso nella natura accogliente , pulito , ed il sig.Giovanni e la sua famiglia un ottimo trattamento di benvenuto e molto socievoli e pronti ad accontentare i clienti. Siamo stati davvero bene. Consigliato anche con bambini ci sono piccoli spazi anche per loro.

Fantastisch mooie plek. We zijn hier al een aantal keer geweest en komen zeker nog terug. Magnifiek uitzicht... Een oase van rust en grote gastvrijheid van Giovanni!

Im Jahr 2001 war ich dort für eine Woche zu Besuch. Es war der schönste Toskana Urlaub den ich je erlebte. Herzlichen Dank an die Eigentümer dieser wunderbaren Anlage.

Un posto meraviglioso in mezzo alla natura, appartamenti curati e organizzati nei minimi dettagli, piscina e tavoli all'aperto, un'accoglienza familiare, calorosa, e una presenza costante, per soddisfare ogni esigenza e farti sentire a casa...se ci vai la prima volta, non vedi l'ora di tornarci

Warm and welcoming owner. Child friendly accomodation and a well maintained apartment. The minus point is just the unpaved driveway from the mainroad that is not suitable for cycling but the rest makes a perfect stay!
