My family and I went to Podere Ricavo for their Olive Oil Tasting Experience and all I can say is WOW. Not only were the views of the olive groves stunning, but the olive oil is literally the best I have ever tasted in my life. The staff was so friendly, warm, and welcoming. I would recommend adding this to your “to do” if you’re lucky enough to be in the area.

Incredibly beautiful farm. The owners have olive trees with wonderful olive oil tasting, and vineyards, honey and truffle hunting. Not to forget to mention the views are amazing. Grazia gives an wonderful tour and has great knowledge about the olive oil trees and the history of the farm. After taking a tour of the farm we had olive oil tasting and a light lunch and dessert. Absolutely worth the visit. Thank you to all family at the farm and especially Grazia.

A very intimate experience and lovely hosts. We spent the day truffle hunting with their very talented dog, Zara. Then we enjoyed an olive oil tasting and an incredible lunch — especially catering to our gluten free needs. We won’t forget this experience. Their passion for olive oil making, wine and hospitality shines thru. Thank you so much!

Our tour and tasting at Podere Ricavo was wonderful. Our guide, Grazia, was very knowledgeable answering all of our questions. The olive oil is delicious and a treat to take a bottle or can home with you. Thank you for a fabulous day together.

Perhaps the best wine we savored in the entirety of Tuscany was the table wine served to us by the matriarch of Podere Ricavo in the family kitchen. The wine was made from grapes grown in the exclusive section of the vineyard reserved for family. The brilliance of the wine was challenged only by the wines of Podere Le Ripi. The olive oil was definitely in another category as well. We learned much about the differences between great olive oil and the stuff you find on your grocery store shelves. Learning to swizzle olive oil was an absolute hoot.

This is an amazing experience. We went truffle hunting and Olive oil tasting, the guide was very knowledgeable and thorough. It is an umissable experience that you should do.
