Crowded on a Saturday night we showed up without any reservation. They could tell we were not locals, and gave us a table right away!
We ordered a cheese tray for appetizers and steaks and chicken for dinner. Everything was delicious. Steak was perfection!!

Definitely our best meal in Tuscany. The Bistecca alla Fiorentina was perfectly prepared and made from superb quality meat. The other dishes were also excellent. The portions were large, and the prices were very reasonable.

The service was extremely helpful, contributing to a homely atmosphere that felt just like a family meal.

Great things:

-cheap, super cheap
-it isn't fancy it's just top notch local food
-big variety in the menu. Can't go wrong
-big portions
-good home wine and extra wines on the list
-Great olive oil, from the region. Use as you will
-every meet is cooked over the fireplace with real wood

Negatives:

-customer service is a bit so so but I didn't expect anything premium so I'm totally okay with that
-location is far from anything so either you're driving by or your going there on purpouse cause it isn't any close to any city center or interesting area

Conclusion:

It's a must. Great price and great quality. The best Fiorentina stake I've ever had.

I've had South African, Argentinian, Brazilian steaks and they can't get even close to the Fiorentina. This cut of meet is the most expensive and fine you can find and will cost you a bit.
Still, this was the best price I could find in Tuscany.
It's bigger than a Porter house steak. Enjoy!

The best steak meal I have had in my entire life.

I wanted something local. When I saw this place in the middle of nowhere and with cheap prices I knew I found the place. I even drove 30 mins from my Airbnb to here and man… was it worth it.

Of course we ordered Bistecca alla Fiorentina, also sausages and ribs. All were 1000/10.

We also had a pasta all’amatriciana and it was the best pasta we have had in our trip.

Also, 2 bottles of water and a medio litro of wine. Price: the best 80€ spent ever.

They CUT THE MEAT TO ORDER !!!! Literally you can hear them breaking down the meat in the kitchen. And then… everything is cooked in this big wood fire grill.

The meat… SO TENDER… and how could it not if it’s literally cut it to order and probably arrived to the restaurant that same morning.

Also everything was so full of flavor and very well seasoned.

This is an experience and the best meal of your trip. Just trust me! And DO reserve in advance.

Do not expect perfect service or something fancy… just a legit Tuscan restaurant for a very cheap price.

We came here twice to have dinner, due to the nice service, good food and very reasonable price. They have a wonderful list of grilled options, meat is very tender. Loved it!

We read the good reviews, and made this a destination for a cycling day from Siena. Unfortunately, there were no tables available outside, and one of us had forgotten his Covid paperwork, so they could not seat us inside. However, the staff went out of their way, and added a table outside for us. The food was outstanding, probably one of the best during our Tuscan week. And kudos to the staff. This place is busy with plenty of locals: a good sign for sure. The building and dining area are average, but the food all but makes up for it. A true gem

Was there with my husband and we would highly recommend to go there to eat bistecca fiorentina. The meat was amazing and grilled on open flame. Also the service absolutely courteous. Such a great experience. Next time we are in Tuscany, we'll be back for sure.
