Hotel Punta Nord - Est

Great hotel for families. We stayed here two times in the last few years. Last time (2023) we had a family suite. The rooms are spacious, well furnished and clean. The breakfast room is big and the breakfast offer is very good - loved the sfincione... I would eat that every day! The swimming pool is perfect, it has a section for little kids about half meter deep. The pool bar serves food with a decent menu (the only problem is that they can be a bit slow with the serving). The hotel is very easy to reach by car. It might not be ideal for a stroll in the city since it is not exactly central but the walk is pleasant and not excessively long. The only minus is the limited availability for parking in front of the hotel.

I stayed here with my fiancé in July of 2022 and I have not stopped thinking about going back. Our visit was for a few days and we enjoyed every moment. It was relatively central. The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms were comfortable and loved the sea view. Cannot wait to return

We stayed in the junior suite in July as a family of 4 and we absolutely loved it. The room was large, clean and comfortable and the view was exquisite. The staff was so welcoming, the bar tender Leo really looked after us and we loved having the tagliere siciliano and cocktails by the pool. The proximity of the hotel to the beach and harbour and market makes this location brilliant and the breakfast was such a treat every morning. Well done to all the staff at the hotel for making this a great place to stay.

We stayed in one of the junior suites during our stay and the view was astonishing. The service by all staff members including the cleaners and receptionists was second to none, especially a woman named Monica!! She was really helpful when it came down to recommendations for restaurants and arranging taxis etc. Free shuttle down to the beach, couldn’t make it any easier. No complaints from us.

Room was beautifully clean always and large. The cleaning ladies never disturbed us even when we were in the room most of the morning, they always knew when we went out even only for an hour and when we came back it was clean! Service was great, always served with a smile and we loved the beach shuttle. Location was great for us 10 min walk to town and 15min walk down to the harbour. Regarding the previous review about noise - the road was noisy however with the windows closed (which was fine to do as the aircon was very good), you could not hear it from the room so it did not disturb us.

For a 3 star hotel this is quite something. Breakfast has a huge selection for all. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All staff were kind & friendly. Equipment for children was great with also a nursery play area inside. Lovely pool. With overlooking sun-loungers day beds and a jacuzzi.
Unfortunately the private beach to the hotel is now unaccessible as the step’s collapsed so the nearest beach is in walking distance and you can book a buggie ride back free from the hotel!
Yes the hotel is on a road that can get a lot of noisy vehicles passing but knowing this you close the windows and put on the air-con. We had a delightful stay.

Fantastic place, amazing staff, great location. Cleanliness was incredible ‐ our room was cleaned to a high standard every day. Pool was lovely. Would recommend.

Great team, be it at front desk reception (special thanks to Monica, Daniela & ), restaurant (GRAZIE Marina!), pool bar (a big thank you for the guy doing all service, including master DJ!), clean team or, last but not least, transfer (to/from the beach) minigolf car, the unique & big heart Vitto .
Daily impeccable clean of public & private spaces (including excellent state of the pools, offering a all day long lunch service for very affordable prices), spacious rooms, imperial view from the balcony overlooking the Sea, excellent breakfast (especially house made patisseries) nothing can be asked more.
Only one suggestion: especially for the high peak season, for the transfer to/from the beach) there should be : (1) maybe 2 transfer minigolf car because, despite the true generosity of OUR unique & big heart Vitto, he can simply NOT cover needs for people from 2 hotels (PUNTA NORD EST + MADARIG), and that makes sometimes longer than previewed the time to access to the beach (2) surely extension of the time covered daily, starting earlier in the morning (type 8AM) & finishing later (type 8PM) in the evening (because the beach is the reason to come in this amazing location).
In conclusion, so happy for the 2 weeks spent in this special hotel, with human approach and generosity of all staff, beyond professionalism & work well done.
This is definitively a hotel to come back again!

Was really pleasantly surprised by this place. Super clean, really nice staff, especially receptionists and has loads of facilities for kids!

I’d say great value and good location

This is the third time in 6 years we have stayed at this wonderful hotel. This time we stayed for the whole month of September. There are many reasons for us loving this hotel. Location is central for us to visit our families that live in Sicily. Restaurants and beaches are within walking distance. The view from our room is breathtaking. The staff is unbelievable. From the front desk, to the maids, breakfast staff and pool staff, everyone was friendly, courteous and super helpful and very attentive to our needs. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We have recommended this hotel to anyone who will be coming to this area. So, thank you Isabelle, Stefania, Daniella for your patience and help. Thank you Erica, you are a lovely and beautiful young lady and we wish you all the best. Thank you everyone at Punta Nord Est for making this a memorable trip. We will be back.

A little jewel of castellamare del gulfo. Perfectly located near the beach. It has a beautiful vibe. Complimentary breakfast is a great touch. Rooms are clean and spacious, well maintained. The pool is fantastic. Leo makes sure things are
On point. Makes great drinks and gives nice Service with a smile. My family and i are very happy we picked this hote.

This was our first holiday away with a 7month old and we chose this hotel for the child facilities, closeness to town, as well as the ease of being able to just sit by a pool. It was a great decision.
The staff, from concierge to cleaners, were so genuinely friendly. The pool and pool area with a bar was clean and relaxing. Breakfast was really varied and always really enjoyable. The kids games room is great and caters well for infants as well as older children. The room was large and the balcony with fantastic sea views was brilliant. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed here for 4 nights and they were very accommodating with me considering i was a female travelling alone. Great location only a 10 minute walk from the beach and 5 minute walk into the main town of castellammare del golfo. Breakfast was nice with lots of different options and the rooms were spotless.
Would definitely book again.

Just amazing! The reception staff were so warm and welcoming. They helped us with hiring a car and finding transport to the airport, plus tips on what to see on our holiday. The hotel has so many perks such as bikes to take for a great way to see the area, a jacuzzi, pool and an amazing breakfast with amazing staff. The hotel is just a walk away from the beach and a straight road in to town, couldn’t have had a better location in between both of these. Thank you to everyone at Punta nord est for making our stay so amazing. We will definitely be back again soon :)

Great place, I recommend!
The place is new, modern and the staff super polite and available.
They took us to the beach and pick us up later on. The beach is not far but better to go with them by car.
Room is super clean, big and modern (which is rare in Sicily).
You can easily reach the center by walking 10mn.
Breakfast is amazing.
I truly recommend this place without hesitation and I’d go back for sure.

Home away from home. 3rd visit, certainly not the last. Stellar staff, great location, awesome breakfast. The warm welcome is genuine. A sure-thing if there ever was one. Easy to love.

The rooms were very clean and it was wonderful waking up to such a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and spoke English well. The homemade cakes they serve with breakfast were delicious and they even had gluten free options for my husband. The pool was beautiful and clean. The pool bar had some good lunch and coffee options. It’s a 15 minute walk to the beach which was pleasantly not crowded and the food options were great. It’s only about a 10 minute walk to the city, where there are a ton of food options. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stayed here for two nights. Perfect for our needs. Receptionist was v kind and let me speak in the italian I've been trying to learn for years. They also lent us a plug as we'd forgotten ours. 🙄.

Room clean, comfy but too hot. Air conditioning apparently can't be switched on until state officials say so.

We stayed in this hotel for a week with 2 small children. It’s a wonderful hotel with some of the friendliest staff I have experienced.
The rooms and hotel were very clean, breakfast was delicious and the play areas were well equipped for the children.
We used the airport transfer and car hire, thank you for organising.
There is a nice, sandy beach nearby and the town is an easy walk.

Lovely, spacious room with a balcony overlooking the whole bay. Great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff who all speak English. Free parking right outside. A short walk into the old town and harbour with many restaurants to choose from. A shuttle takes you to the beach but there is also a huge pool with restaurant service right there. We had a great stay. Very relaxing after a busy tour round Sicily.
