The owner Alfred was very welcoming and was nice to see the owner on site every day and playing the piano for the guests. The Restaurant is very good and the manager Adele is very professional and accommodating, we had a great experience there. The location and the medieval town are a fabulous spot for a vacation, we would highly recommend it.

Lovely setting for a romantic dinner in a gorgeous courtyard with views across Certaldo and the surrounding hills. We had a dinner at sunset which was incredible. The food was also very nice the duck pasta, ox cheek and desserts were delicious!

A splendid location after a chalenging uphill ride with the bike. The staff was very friendly. By accident we and the owner have a common friend in the jazz music scene and so we had a nice chat at our table. . The view from the restaurant terrace is stunning. Certaldo alto is a beautifull medieval borgo not yet overrun by mass tourism.

It was wonderful staying here. Truly an “old world” romantic community. Great service and amenities. And Alfred, the hotel owner, is awesome! Highly highly recommend. Can’t wait to stay here again!

bellissimo posto. Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in hotel e la camera era molto accogliente e pulita. posizione ottima e personale gentilissimo

Hotel caratteristico, pulito, in posizione ideale per raggiungere San Gimignano, Siena, Volterra, Firenze, e tante altre località. Personale carino, disponibile e sempre pronto ed attento alle esigenze del cliente. Il ristorante è molto curato, ottima cucina, la migliore che ho provato in un ristorante di un hotel, anche qui personale preparato, simpatico e professionale. Il cuoco è degno di tale denominazione, tra risotti, fiorentina, faraona, e ottimo vino ha soddisfatto in pieno le nostre aspettative. Complimenti al titolare, una simpatica persona che sa come accontentare e mettere a proprio agio il cliente. Bravi, bravi, bravi tutti, esperienza da rivivere presso questa favolosa struttura.

Magnifique lieu très agréable, avec une terrasse couverte avec vue et des arbres. Prix très raisonnable des boissons (5€50 pour un Spritz).

Vinimos desde Chile.
Sudamérica. Maravilloso hotel. Lugar muy caminable al que se puede acceder en funicular. O caminando.Buenas sábanas y toallas. Buen aseo. Desayuno sencillo. Justo. Estuvimos tres noches que nos dieron descanso, silencio, tranquilidad y noches de luna.
Sugerencia: disponer de caja de seguridad, incluir masajes o tratamientos en el hotel y alguna piscina o tinaja de agua caliente pues los atractivos in situ son limitados.Volveríamos encantadas. Gracias !

Abbiamo pranzato presso il ristorante dell'albergo, ottima cucina, materie prime eccellenti, servizio curato. Hanno un ampio patio dove in estate deve essere fantastico pranzare con vista spettacolare a 360°. Ritorneremo

Con un pizzico di fantasia, si vola indietro di qualche secolo per atterrare nel Medioevo e dormire nelle camere di un palazzo storico garbatamente adattato a hotel. Personale e proprietario gentilì.

Situato in un paese fantastico, offre un panorama incantevole. La ragazza che lo gestisce ed il personale sono affabili e di una cortesia estrema: l'attenzione verso le esigenze del cliente e la disponibilità sono qualità che appartengono loro. Ci si sente a casa

Bij toeval dit leuke plekje ontdekt. Helemaal naar boven gelopen,waar je vanaf het terras prachtig uitzicht hebt. Teleurstellend toen we erachter kwamen dat we helemaal voor niks naar boven zijn gelopen. Er was namelijk een heel leuk treintje waarmee je naar boven kon. Met een volle wijnbuik dus toch maar met het treintje naar beneden gegaan. Zeer leuke ervaring.
Bediening was zeer netjes en eten was verrukkelijk.👌🏻
