We had the pleasure of visiting this charming restaurant just yesterday and I was thrilled from start to finish.

What makes Trattoria Angioloni so special is the family service and the warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel welcome and at home. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and you can tell immediately that they go out of their way to treat every guest like part of the family.

The food is simple but amazing! I ate a Bistecca Fiorentina there for the first time, which is an absolute highlight and a must for all meat lovers. Juicy, tender and perfectly cooked - it tastes like a slice of heaven on your plate. But the homemade pasta is also a dream. Every bite is a real treat for the Plate, and you can feel the loving effort that goes into the dishes.

The warm and cozy atmosphere of Trattoria Angioloni makes it feel more like a family home than an ordinary restaurant. The rustic furnishings, decorated with loving attention to detail, create a relaxed and inviting environment in which you immediately feel at home.

Overall, my visit to Trattoria Angioloni was a wonderful experience. The excellent service, delicious food and family atmosphere make this restaurant a real gem in Florence, whether you are looking for a relaxed dinner or celebrating a special occasion, Trattoria Angioloni will not disappoint!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! My husband and I came for dinner and had a fantastic meal.

We ordered the eggplant parmigiana to start and then split the Florentine steak and roasted potatoes. All of the food was so delicious.

The vibe of the restaurant was nice, definitely not 100% upscale but a great place for a special dinner. Definitely make a reservation in advance as they seemed to be busy most days.

Would highly recommend this place!

Excellent Food, Bistecca alla Fiorentina is a most have. They are well known by locals.
Also try Homemade Taglierine with fresh truffles, Amazing.

A pretty good local restaurant, we had Zucchini starter, 2 pasta dishes, a the steak and some Chianti wine.
The food is really good, the service was no more than okay. The service was very messy and they forgot to bring the main dish, we had to remind them.
The steak was superb!! And the atmosphere is great.

My Italian tutor recommended this place and it was divine. Great wine selection, great pasta dishes, and their wild board stew was amazing.
This place will not charge you an arm and a leg like the places near the attractions. Take a walk across the bridges and down some small Florentine and enjoy yourself here.

- Such a great trattoria, in some ways, well hidden from the hustle & bustle, but super authentic. We dined here twice during our stay, and we were not disappointed with any of our meals. The staff were very happy & friendly, and being non Italian speakers, made us feel most welcome. We’d certainly recommend this fine restaurant. Highlights of the meals were the Prawn/Shrimp carbonara, potato filled pasta with wild boar sauce, bistecca for one, tagliatelle with meat sauce, Affogato, and the pistachio. To start we did the artichoke salad and mozzarella/prosciutto appetizers. The artichoke was well dressed and a perfect size for 2 people, the mozzarella and meat were very good as well (a little pricey for the portion size). Then we got the veal shank with risotto which was delicious but the risotto could’ve had a little more saffron flavor, very good though. The veal milanese was delicious as well as the spaghetti arrabbiata, which was spicy but not overwhelmingly so. The affogato and lemon sorbetto were also very nice. There was a couple hiccups with the service that were sorted out quickly and properly, so overall a 5/5 dinner

The food is delicious, the staff and service are great, the place is beautiful, the open kitchen is spectacular to watch how professional the food is made by the chef's.

I was pleasantly surprised at this place. I wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. I got the special with the clams and spaghetti and it was great (should have ordered 2). I see why Italians don't add cheese to seafood as the flavors were balanced and delicious. The service was fantastic and friendly. Would go back again.

Relaxing and pleasant environment. Best Florentina I ever ate, melted in my mouth. The tomato soup, potatoes and chef's special dessert are delicious as well. I highly recommend that you stop in and eat here if you happen to find yourself in Florence.

This is exactly what I imagined a Tuscan restaurant would look like, dark wooden furniture, elegant iron chandelier gives that rich, warm inviting vibe.

We ordered Bistecca alla Fiorentina for two to share, it was a huge T-bone steak about 1kg char grilled to perfection, still rare in the middle, although it had a huge bone and we tried our best, unfortunately couldn't finish it all, one of the best dinners we had during our 3 weeks travelling in Italy. Highly recommended.

Suggest you email the restaurant, their friendly staff will make a reservation for you, it gets busy dinner time.

There are a lot of very good restaurants in Florence, however this one is great. Some of the best food we ate and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was recommended by a local who eats lunch there each day and I now understand why. Do yourself a favour.

Delicious food and friendly service.

Tried porcini pasta and tripe, both were delicious. Also try their pistachio cheesecake, which was a bit too soft, but tasty.

The gentleman at the bar who took care of us was very nice and friendly.

The top notch quality of the food, the ambience, the helpful and patient staff (as I tried to refresh my Italian, in which the waiter was quite helpful and understanding) guaranteed a wonderful night.

Where there were few pictures of the restaurant offering an insight on where we would have dinner, my company and I were overwhelmed by the cosy and traditional interior. A vintage bar decorated with flasks and empty wine bottles, frescos picturing a view of the Arno and classical lighting ensured the feeling of authenticity.

The waiter did a fine job by suggesting wines (there's an extensive list of wines changing by the season and availability, so we enjoyed a classic chianti from the house of Terre di Conio (2014)) and made sure to feel as if we were at home.

The food excelled and everything tasted fresh. From the melanzane di parmiggiano (highly recommended) as a starter to the bistecca della fiorentina as a main course (perfectly grilled)

I'd recommend this place to all my friends, ignore negative reviews and you'll experience a great night.

This place is a must visit if you come to florence. It is not so well known so the wait staff provides adequate attention to the patrons. The price is decent. I ordered tagliata plate for 2 people that costs 42e and it was more than enough. The tagliata melts in your mouth and the potatoes are heavenly. For desert ordered panna cotta and my mouth thanked me for it. Consigliatissimo!

Food was delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere is really nice, you feel you are dinning in a different era.

I had just great ossobuco, my other half pasta fresca with truffles. Good and proper service, excellent red. Definitely a place to come back to next time in Firenze.

Absolutely one, if not THE best restaurant in town. Impeccabe service, fantastic food, awesome meat and a cozy atmosphere. What more can you ask for? It's not in the center, but is well worth the walk. Don't miss the Fiorentina T-bone and any truffle dish, if you're into that.

Absolutely the BEST food in Florence. The steak is absolutely incredible. I'm from the US and we cook steak often and produce a tasty meal. How good could this steak be? Better than the highest end steak places in the US and better than me with my sous vide.

I ate at another highly rated restaurant tonight and it wasn't even close. This restaurant has largely ruined every other restaurant in Florence for us. I plan on returning. Can I give 6 stars?

Food was amazing. Atmosphere is cozy and charming. Loved the rigatoni and spaghetti with red wine sauce.
