The restaurant scenery is beautiful, the food is great and the owner is super wonderful and a lovely man to talk to . The whole staff makes you feel welcome . I look forward to coming back to Torretta and having Mileci pizza every summer . Thanks Sal !!!

I have to say that I have eaten at restaurants all over Italy, and this one is by far the best! The ingredients could not be any fresher. Local vegetables, cheeses, meats and more. The owner Sal makes his own bread and everything else fresh each day, and he is warm, welcoming and attentive. The entire staff there is amazing!
My personal favorite is the Caponata, but honestly every single dish I have had there rates as a 10 out of 10!
If you decide to go there your taste buds are in for the treat of a lifetime!

Best case scenario for you if you visit is you get to talk with the owner for a minute or two, get in touch with a bit of history of the place and a family that runs it, worst case scenario you get honest food from honest people and sense of authenticity of the place will be there either way. Whichever end of the stick you will get, you will leave this place with a full belly, and feeling somehow a little bit better than you thought is possible through means of food alone :)

The pizza vegetariana is probably the best pizza I have ever had. The flavours and fresh vegetables are mouthwatering. The dough is perfectly on point, not burned, not soggy. Perfect.
Eating in between the characteristic italian small town architecture gives you the dolce vita feeling you have always wanted.
The staff has been extraordinary friendly and super communicative even in english.
This pizzaria is for sure worthy finding the way through the small streets.

Great pizza and atmosphere!

Great food. Great service. Great quality. The pizza is the best you’ll find in Sicily. Pizza is a great mix between thin and thick which makes for a great dinner. The scenery sitting there is even better being in a heart of a lively area. Sitting outside enjoying great food on a wonderful night is the best.

Great service and beautiful traditional pizza. The chicken wings are perfectly seasoned and cooked well.
The house red wine is a perfect pairing with a simple topped pizza.
Friendly, generous and all round happy place.

Lovely Quaint Place. Food is delicious and served Hot. Its radiant color is impressive. The staff is family run. Polite and attentive. Sal the owner goes above and beyond on service. Mainly the Price you can afford.

Un locale molto accogliente in stile rustico.
Il proprietario, il sig. Mileci, una persona affabile e molto ospitale.
Tutte le portate sono eccellenti con alcune specialità davvero uniche.
In particolare il pollo fritto con la loro salsa speciale, la focaccia con porchetta e il cannolo con ricotta artigianale sono dei piatti da provare assolutamente.

Locale rustico, tradizionale dove si scoprono i sapori di una volta.
Bocconcini di pollo eccezionali. Li mangeresti come le ciliegie...uno tira l'altro. Ottime le focacce con porchetta e cipolla...buone anche quelle con la ricotta. Consiglio la pizza Don Mimmo dai sapori decisi.
Consiglio i piatti a base di carne. Bistecche e fiorentine di vitellina cinisara completano la goduria del palato.
Solitamente si conclude con cassatelle alla ricotta, cannolo con farcitura grezza (adoro), e amaro ben freddo.
Personale educato, disponibile.
Servizio veloce e ben curato.

In data 8/6/2024 eravamo in 19 commensali seduti ad un mega tavolo. Tutti felici per aver gustato le bistecche cotte a puntino e tanto, tanto altro.

Che dire: ci tornerò presto, perché mi sento a casa.

Dimenticavo: temperatura esterna "fresca". A Torretta si sta bene.
