Villa del Lauro

I had the pleasure of staying in Villa del Lauro for three nights. The rooms are modern, elegant, spotless and meticulously maintained. The complimentary breakfast has a variety of foods that were fresh and offered both sweet and savory options for all palettes. The staff at breakfast are helpful and everyone speaks perfect English which is most appreciated for non Italian speakers. The staff at check in and at reception during our stay were very helpful and accommodating while providing options for dinners and making transportation arrangements. Every time you leave or enter you are acknowledged and greeted with well wishes by staff who strive to make your stay most enjoyable. The hills are steep and if mobility is an issues I would caution you to make additional transportation arrangements as there are 341 steps from the bar or the stairs in Ragusa Ibla to the hotel.

Extraordinary hotel in Ragusa! Enjoyed every aspect of my stay from the beautiful suite with two balconies to the clean and crisp pool and the attentive staff. The daily breakfast was perfect with multiples options and slight changes daily. The location of the hotel made it equally accessible to both Ragusa Ibla and Superiore. Will stay again!

The location is greatt. The building is elegant and rustic with all the modern requirements for Sicily in August. Parking can be complicated but Matthew saw I found it easy. Deborah was attentive to help with food and Natasha is full of advice and wisdom on the local area as well as history of the town. I would recommend Villa del Lauro to my family, friends and colleagues. The hotel is family friendly and at the same time great for couples alike. The gardens are kep beautifully and the pool is perfect. Breakfast filled us up for hours. A wonderful stay. Thank you!

I stayed at Villa del Lauro for 3 nights in Aug, 2014. I was on my own but had such a wonderful experience there if felt like I had friends with me. The hotel was wonderful, breakfast on the terrace was a delight I relished each morning. The staff could not have been nicer & more helpful. Everything was spotlessly clean & nothing was seemed to be too much trouble. I am definitely going back.

Modern rooms in a superb authentic Sicilian building. Staff is very friendly and helpful. High quality breakfast buffet, and the service is on point. The garden and pool are gorgeous and make for a peaceful oasis in this tight little city. Excellent location, just on the border between the old and new parts of Ragusa. And the wifi actually works rather fast. Highly recommended!

View from our room. Beautiful room and very spacious. Parking is a bit of a struggle as it’s on a STEEP hill. There is a parking garage nearby about 2 mins away.

Hotel elegante e accogliente con personale gentile e professionale in particolar modo matteo che ci ha saputo accogliere e consigliare per il nostro soggiorno a ragusa.

Semplicemente sublime. Il posto senza alcun dubbio incantevole, non da poco trovare un hotel in centro a Ragusa con giardino e piscina, ma voglio rimarcare che il valore aggiunto di questo luogo è lo staff, ragazzi meravigliosi, professionali e capaci di coccolare gli ospiti come fossero cari amici di famiglia.
Non solo lo consiglio, posso confermare che sarà sempre il mio primo pensiero nel mio ritorno a Ragusa, in un misto tra vedere splendidi posti e gustarmi la compagnia di questi splendidi ragazzi!!! Grazie per aver reso il nostro weekend speciale!. Manu e Bachi

Struttura a dir poco incantevole con piscina e idromassaggio per godersi qualche ora di relax in questo gioiellino della nostra amata Sicilia. La parte migliore la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale, presente per ogni richiesta ( hanno preparato per noi la colazione anticipata, chiedendoci la sera cosa desiderassimo, sapendo che avremmo lasciato la struttura alle 5:30 di mattina). In particolare il Signor Antony gentilissimo. Raccomandiamo un soggiorno qui a tutti e grazie ancora per il tempo donatoci.

Bellissimo hotel in una dimora antica nel cuore di Ragusa,con un bel giardino pieno di piante e di rose. La piscina da' un tocco di azzurro al prato verdissimo. Molto curato e pulitissimo,la mia stanza non era molto grande ma aveva una finestra-balcone che si affacciava sulla piscina nel giardino. Siamo stati benissimo e c'era tutto nuovo. Buona la colazione, di qualità, con frutta di stagione, fragole e ciliegie, formaggio e salumi, torte e dolcetti. Il personale molto gentile e professionale. Consiglio a tutti questo hotel, tranne a chi ha difficoltà con le scale,perché essendo un palazzo antico è privo di ascensore, ma ci sono le stanze più basse. Spero di ritornare il prossimo anno per godermi la bellissima Ragusa

Che dire? Tutto veramente perfetto. Personale gentile e disponibile, camere nuove e confortevoli e spazi comuni davvero ben curati. Colazione abbondante. Purtroppo le condizioni meteo sfavorevoli non mi hanno consentito di usufruire della piscina, ma per il resto è stata davvero un'ottima esperienza. Lo consiglio.

Ett hotell med en fin trädgård och pool. Fint rum. Rent och trevligt. Mycket att välja på till frukost. Avkopplande känsla. Personalen mycket trevliga, mycket god service och informativa. Sammantaget en underbar vistelse. Kommer gärna tillbaka.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo soggiornato in questa perla dentro Ragusa. È un luogo magnifico in cui ci si può rilassare totalmente immergendosi in questo giardino con piscina.
Oltretutto questa elegante Villa ottocentesca si trova a pochi minuti dalla bellissima Ragusa Ibla.

Voglio sottolineare la pulizia della struttura e la gentilezza e cortesia dello staff!

Lo consiglio e ritorneremo sicuramente.

Ottimo albergo di charme nel cuore di Ragusa Vecchia e a 2 passi dalle scalinate per Ibla.
Servizio ottimo e camere di design e ben arredate.
Si respira il fascino di tempi andati con particolari come le porte delle camere perfettamente mantenute.

Struttura curata, elegante e pulita. Personale gentile e disponibile. L'albergo, pur essendo a pochi passi dal centro, è dotato di un ampio giardino terrazzato ben curato e dotato di piscina. Sono stata veramente bene e lo consiglio per una vacanza a Ragusa e dintorni

Netjes, ziet er van buiten wat oud uit door de oude stad, maar eenmaal binnen is het een aangename verrassing.
