San Giorgio Palace Hotel

My goodness what an amazing hotel! It’s so beautiful!!! The location inside of a cliff that used to be a Catholic Monastery is super cool! Also it’s in the middle of Ragusa Ibla, so fantastic location. The rooms are very new and clean, and the staff is super kind and the very nice boss, he upgraded our room to two beds because of my large sleeping habits at night so my mother could sleep peacefully. That was super nice. Made us very happy. Also, the breakfast was very nice each morning, nice and quality variety of varying fresh foods. We loved our stay here!

It's right in the heart of the ancient town. You can easily walk from the 5th floor to anywhere. The rooms as small but modern, beautiful and clean. The staff are helpful and friendly, available 24 hours a day. The breakfast is included and has a wide variety of items. The view from the patio and some rooms is spectacular!

We were in Ragusa for a wedding and spent 4 days at the San Giorgio. The location is perfect, easy for parking and getting into the historic part of town. The staff is super. Always available and friendly. Breakfast is abundant and has lots of choices.

My only complaint is there is not really a comfortable public space to sit with other guests. I would have liked a lobby or a bar where we could have gathered in-between wedding activities.

Fantastic! Best location with free parking lot outside ZTL zone. Entering the lift at the ground floor to reach the upper side/right in the center! All staffs were extreamly friendly and helpful. Clean, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast area was breathtaking!

We stayed in this wonderful boutique hotel in January 2024 with a tour...all aspects of the hotel were impeccable along with the beautiful view of the valley... definitely will return in the future...👍😃

Such a great stay!
Upon arrival we were greeted by the staff and upgraded in a superior room. The hotel has a very modern feel which we appreciated. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very responsive.

Great location, and well functional room. The highlight of my stay was the super friendly staff. Every single of them was helpful and friendly, and would go out of their way to help. This also happened to other guests I saw. Some of them were multi functional, e.g. in the morning they worked in the restaurant and in the afternoon they were running other tasks. All seemed to enjoy their jobs - which was very pleasant to see and to experience first hand. All of this makes any trivial hiccups forgettable and forgiveable.
I got a good deal in my booking which makes every penny worth it.

Exceptional value. Conveniently located for Ibla (old Ragusa).

We walked all over town looking for the best place. After looking at 4 different places, we took the last room available at this hotel. The location can’t be beat. Easy free parking just outside and an elevator to take you up to town which is many flights of stairs away. It is right about in the middle so we got to see the whole town by walking. It has a great view and a beautiful patio for breakfast.

Outstanding service, reasonable price, newly renovated with modern fixtures and amenities. Facility spotless and clean. Breakfast delicious. Receptionists and manager ,Ivan, very pleasant and go out of their way to give the best service. Beautiful views from room. Car Parking free

The hotel is up a long ramp outside, then a ramp to the elevator to reception. On street parking was available near the bottom of the ramp (on my December trip). It is well positioned in the old town, near tourist sites. I didn't have need of my car during my stay. Upper floor rooms have excellent views, I'm unable to comment on lower floor views. The hotel breakfast was good and varied with pastries, cheese, salami, antipasto. Hotel staff were able to provide advice on what to see and where to find restaurants. Quite perfect for a weekend or one night visit

Wow! This place is fantastic! Its built right into the cliff .... you enter through a gate at street level then walk through a tunnel/hallway to reception. The rooms are on 5 levels and you can exit on the 5th level to get to to the old top of the hill area where all the restaurants are. The rooms are really nice with balconies and super views and breakfast is served on a terrace. Stay here if you can for the great experience.

Best hotel in Sicily! Very cool entrance from the bottom of the cliff. Amazing views from the rooms. Kind and attentive staff. Well respected COVID-19 guidelines. Definitely will come back to this hotel if I return to Ragusa!

A modern, clean, and comfortable hotel with great location right in the heart of Ragusa Ibla just a short walk from the Piazza Duomo and the San Giorgio Cathedral. Our room had a beautiful deck overlooking the valley. Breakfasts were great. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A big thank you to Ivan for arranging a ride to Noto, saving us from an uncertain and difficult bus connection. Highly recommend this hotel!

Great breakfast. Great location. Awesome staff. The only downside: some of the rooms are next to the road and don't have windows (I felt like in the cellar) and we have to ask to be relocated.

We spent four nights at the San Giorgio Palace and loved it. The rooms and all the common areas were clean, sharp, and of modern design. We liked the way the hotel is cleverly built on a hillside, which offers great views from many rooms. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is absolutely ideal for visiting Ragusa. The staff was jparticularly helpful in many regards and very attentive. The manager also arranged a fantastic day trip with a driver and guide to some of the surrounding towns, including Punta Seca, Marina de Ragusa, Scicli and Modica with a brilliant agrotouriism lunch in the middle. We really enjoyed our stay and we would recommend the San Giorgio Palace to anyone.

Beautiful hotel, very clean. After a horrible experience elsewhere we came here without a reservation. They accommodated us for 2 nights and we're glad it worked out this way! Easy parking just down the path, and easy access from the main road back to the highway.

We arrived without a reservation in the middle of January and we were welcomed like old friends. All the staff was nice and full of attentions. A small problem with the heating was fixed instantly. Nice buffet breakfast and a perfect location to visit the old town of Ibla.

Fabulous hotel in the city of Ragusa. Staff couldn't do enough for you. Room spotless clean and had a shared balcony. Breakfast plentiful. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
