Bioparco di Sicilia

A very nice place, which looks unpleasant from the beginning, but right after the start of the walk you will discover a very beautiful bio-park. It's not an ordinary traditional zoo but such a nice garden full of animals. There will be roosters, wild rabbits and lizards running around.

In the refreshment area you will find a very nice modern bar, a restaurant and a gift shop connected with a toy shop. The prices are not expensive at all. The bar is open until 18:00, the restaurant until 15:00 and the toy/gift shop also until 18:00. There are very nice staff here, with whom you can easily communicate in English.

There are quite a lot of animals here and you can even pet some of them. At the end of the zoo you will also find a huge garden with various flowers, plants, trees and herbs.

I fully recommend this place also for families with children. There are lots of educational things to do, attractions and also a few mini playgrounds.

There are plenty of places to sit everywhere and Uricte will have somewhere to relax.

I definitely recommend visiting this place when you visit Sicily. Tickets cost 8,50€ for an adult and 6€ for a child.

Wonderful experience with various animals, there was an area with the dinosaurs that our little boy enjoyed

We really enjoyed the Bio parco with our 2 years old daughter. They have the dinosaurs Park, Farm, savana and much more.
We spent 3 hours there. Also very nice shop for souvenirs. Really recommended

Our experience at BIOPARCO DI SICILIA were truly wonderful! Such a beautiful zoological park! Time spent with friends were time well spent!

There was no wait when we went , the zoo was very nice. I would recommend going before summer hits and to wear sunscreen. I got a little sun just from walking around in the spring.

Pleasantly surprised by the park. Wonderful place to spend the day with your family. The park is laid out in a very nice manner, not too many animals, but just enough. We spent a lot of time in the zoo, and then came across the farm area in the back, which is also very nice. Highly recommend as a day trip with kids. Tons of picnic areas so bring food and drink with.
