Quiet and peaceful hotel. The prices were very good. The rooms were lovely, recently renovated and comfortable. The views over the lake were outstanding. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good. The restaurant was okay, a bit pricey. The location is lovely albeit quite remote.

Perfect hotel for a stay in Lake Como. Breakfast isn’t huge but the food is all very nice, there’s a small beach 2 minute walk away.

Rooms are clean and modern with a smart TV and a view over the lake.

Como is only 30 minutes away on the C30 bus, which is €2.60 per person.

The deluxe rooms are very pleasant en-suites with views over Lago di Como, and in one case featuring a private balcony. There can be some noise filtering through in the mornings from general outdoors bustle, so I'd recommend waking and starting your day a little earlier. There are combination shutters and blinds, allowing varying light and privacy levels.

Breakfast is continental, buffet style with a good variety from which to select. Lunch and supper likewise provide variety without being excessive or overwhelming, and are well prepared and tasty. The wine list is very pleasant and there are a number of grappas and stronger alcohols off the main menu.

Staff are friendly and helpful, and pretty cheerful as they go about things, although it doesn't hurt to have a splash of Italian for more in-depth questions you may have.

Excellent location near to the beach, the ferry and private hire boats, and walking routes up to the hills.

The hotel is located in a quiet zone by the lake, so it's really peaceful here 😌 It's a half way from the center of Como and Bellagio - the must-visit quarter of Como.

The hotel has great views from every side, especially from the restaurant. And it has its owned parking spaces.

The staff were really nice and helpful. They welcomed us from the parking lot.

The rooms are spacious with full-equipped furniture like a mini fridge, large wardrobes, a TV 📺, a kitchen and large beds as well. The mattress is quite comfortable that is important for a good sleep 😴

The buffet breakfast was okay. I expected a little bit more. They had cereal, juice, tea, croissants, scrambled eggs, fruits and you can ask the waiters to make a hot cappuccino or an espresso for you too

Everyone in the hotel was just too adorable and accommodating. We were picked up by car from the bus stop and then dropped again since we were having some difficulties planning our route. The staff really melted our hearts.
The view from the room is stunning and the small bar right next to it has the most amazing vibes, drinks and views.
1000% recommend a stay here, will defo come back!

The view from the bedroom over the lake was magnificent, it was definitely one of the best highlights of this hotel! The accommodation was very clean, comfortable and very spacious. The WiFi connection was good and there was a lift enabling you to transport your luggage easily to your bedroom.

Incredible hospitality (Morgana and the owners were lovely) and the food at the restaurant was very tasty. Breakfast is included in the price- it's self service but they will serve all the hot drinks (hot chocolate was very yummy). If you would like to have lunch or dinner here, then the prices are dependent on what you choose from the menu- not cheap but the food and drinks were outstanding, therefore worth every cost. Moreover, the service at the restaurant was very friendly, rapid and elegant.

Faggeto Lario itself , where the hotel is located, is very calm, quiet and not as overcrowded as some other popular tourist destinations around Lake Como. There is also a Water experience centre, a bar and a fantastic restaurant nearby.

There is few ways to get here:
by car, bus or ferry. I highly recommend the ferry from Como to Faggeto, it costs less than €5 per person but you get to enjoy wonderful views of the lake on the way. Very convenient for the lake ferry service just a few metres from the hotel.

Overall experience, good value, great location, even better views and lovely staff members. Hotel Ristorante Vapore deserves much more than just 2 stars!

Amazing hotel and staff. Astonishing view of the lake. Excellent breakfast to start the day. Free parking. The only minus for me was the absence of air condition.

Beautifully situated restaurant and guesthouse on the lake. Rooms are comfortable enough, though as usual for Italy there is not much in them. Our partial view of the lake was lovely. High cielings and large windows meant we stayed reasonably cool at night.

The restaurants terrace has to be one of the nicest on the lake, spacious enough but private and with a fantastic aspect looking back to Como. Breakfasts were an absolute treat for this reason, and our two dinners were top quality. The food is definitely on the safe side of italian cooking but ingrediants all top quality. Service very relaxed and professional with a clearly well experienced staff. Bookings essential, at least in high season when we visited.

The check-in time was up to 8pm but we would get there later. The staff was kind to leave instructions and even printed out a sheet of paper with notes in our room. That was very kind and helpful.
The rooms have a small kitchen with silverware and some dishes and the view is really nice.

Nice stay at this small hotel on the shores of Lake Como. Good value for the price, unobstructed views of the lake, clean, and great service. The additional fee for breakfast is almost a must, as there is not much else around. This is the perfect place to come relax on the lake for a few days.

Ristorante Vapore was also very good!

Amazing hospitality, the owner offered us a ride up to Molina after she helpes us with a reservation at Il Tipi Tipici! Greats views, Good food and very close to public beach. And just 100m from the hotel you can rent Vespas or Jetskis and Kayaks.

A beautiful view out the window and nice balcony to sit at. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Beach across the road is amazing and free!

Super séjour à cet hôtel. Nous avions réservé une chambre Deluxe donnant sur le lac et n'avons pas été déçus. Le personnel est très accueillant et gentil. Le petit déjeuner est très bon.
