Acquasale

This is one of the finest restaurants in Alba. I liked it so much, I dined here twice-pranzo e la cena. It has everything: atmosphere, quality, affordability and service. There are a number of Slow Food Presidia items on the menu. Go here as often as you can, ❤ the Americano who sang Buonasera.

We absolutely loved Aquasale, and highly recommend a meal there if you are in Alba. Everything the four of us ate was superb, beautifully presented, and delicious. Despite the fact that we were there on a busy Saturday (the restaurant was full, with several large groups) and we have only about ten words of Italian, the wait staff were attentive and professional.
Aquasale serves both Piedmont specials and seafood. We happily went back a second evening to try different dishes; again we couldn’t have been more pleased.

We were walking to another restaurant when we walked by this place. And we decided to stop here instead. So glad we did! Delicious home made food, great prices and delicious wine.

When we feel like a plate of pasta, we come here! The homemade southern style pasta is quite original in this area. I'm a pescatarian, so I get the stock fish or shell fish pasta sauce, but the plain tomato sauce is delicious too.
The desserts are homemade. I'm not big on dessert, so I get the jam tart, which is a favourite of mine.
Don't come here for light and dietary. Everything is rich and tasty.

It's a family run restaurant, and the owners are friendly and chatty. They have a great selection of CDs and records. I really appreciate the music, some great 80s and 90s stuff!

Excellent place mostly know by the locals.. a bid hidden. I personally loved the traditional local menu which they made with absolute perfection. Clearly a place you want to discover (as a tourist).wines are excellent and reasonably priced. Take the fried fish and don't ask for mayonnaise..it would be a crime (in their opinion!) And they are absolutely right!

Absolutely fantastic. Lovely hosts, superb food (have the Trio dessert) and a great wine list. Best, and best value, of all the places we ate in during our four days in Alba.

Food skillfully prepared, good value for money, with warm welcome and good service. Such an enjoyable evening that we returned on consecutive nights.

Really lovely small bistro, far better than several other restaurants close by, strong recommendation if you like genuine Italian food.

Beautiful little restaurant. We had a mix of starters, pasta and secondi piatti and it was delicious! The local Barbera that was recommended to us was very nice! We will come back when we are in Alba again.

Lovely, zero-pretence mix of Langhe & Cilento specials. Very good value for money on the food and especially on the wine.

Delicious

Locale carino e tranquillo, sito in posizione defilata nel centro di Alba. Servizio ottimo e attento, piatti tutti molto buoni e gustosi; strepitosi in particolare i Ravioli del Plin al burro e salvia. In una parola, consigliatissimo... spero di tornarci!

Una giornata di Santo Stefano speciale, passato con amici unici, un menù tra Cilento e Piemonte, quindi si inizia con "l'acqua sale", un piatto che mi tuffa nel passato quando il sabato si raccoglieva in una grande coppetta il pane raffermo della settimana e pomodori, sedano conditi con semplicità al profumo di fresco basilico ed origano! Un tagliarono fantastico, ed il brasato gustoso ma leggero e profumato, ottima qualità degli ingredienti e dei piatti abbondanti, costo equilibrato al gusto! Da provare e per noi da ritornare!

Bellissima scoperta. Una cucina tradizionale italiana con materie prime d'eccellenza. Si può mangiare un Tajarin al ragù (piemontese),oppure Cavatielli fatti in casa con cozze e vongole. E magari...un fritto di pesce ben fatto

Locale bellissimo e accogliente. La titolare e lo staff ti fanno sentire a casa. Cucina che si divide tra Piemonte e Cilento. Ho Mangiato tajarin al tartufo eccellenti e per differenziare …un fritto di pesce freschissimo. Che dire…ci tornerò sicuramente.

Un locale diverso, finalmente, ad Alba dove vengono proposte prelibatezze cilentine. Non abbiate paura potrete trovare comunque i tajarin al tartufo ma se volete un consiglio affidatevi al personale di sala che potrà illustrarvi tutti i piatti e consigliarvi al meglio. Da provare assolutamente la pizza fritta(strepitosa quella con le cime di rapa), i primi ottimi(cavatielli con vongole e cozze super); per secondi la salsiccia con provola fusa 👍👍!
Dolci tutti ottimi; se venite a sapere che hanno fatto la pastiera correte perché non dura mezza giornata!
Da provare anche per una buona colazione!
