Il Pozzo Montepulciano

Ate here a few times throughout our stay, owner has been absolutely fantastic. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating.

The interior is a beautiful contrast of ancient stone with modern design, a lot of small intimate feeling spaces.

Have had a quite a bit of the menu, and everything is top notch. Owner's knowledge of wine is impeccable.

This is an excellent place located just I the heart of the Montepulciano downtown. It offers great variety of wines (not only those from Montepulciano, but also from Montalcino and even other regions of Italy such as e.g. Veneto and Piedmont), good food, and cozy atmosphere.

What a great experience! It was a pleasant surprise. We didn’t have reservation and it was a busy day in Montepulciano, but they made some space for us and we had an amazing dinner. The service was great and the food delicious. A bit pricey but definitely worth it! The restaurant is beautiful and the presentation of the food was Michelin level.

Had a great lunch at Il Pozzo! 5 stars because:
- This place stays open for lunch even after many other restaurants are closed and won’t take us in.
- the Pici all’aglione are phenomenal!
- we asked for some bread and it was surprisingly very very good, perfect for scarpetta with the remaining sauce from the Pici.
- the olive oil is also super good, perfect to put on top of the bread as a little snack!
- Panzanella was also really fresh and great.
- all the other dishes and desserts that were brought to other tables looked and smelled incredible.

已經來兩次了，上次來是吃跨年大餐很不錯，這次來是家庭聚會，這次餐點比較托斯卡納當地家庭料理還算可以餐廳乾淨寬敞舒適跨年大餐的餐點比較特別本人比較喜歡😄吃完還可以Monte pulciano逛逛天空之城蠻美的❤

Il ragazzo che ci ha servito è stato molto gentile ed educato.
I piatti sono cucinati da persone che mettono passione e competenza e lo si sentiva nelle pietanze degustate.
La location curata nei minimi dettagli, bellissimo le pareti ornate con i vari vini.

Tutto buonissimo, prenotato con the fork, mangiato benissimo.. la carne era veramente qualcosa di spettacolare, e anche l’antipasto, uovo fritto, veramente ottimo, non l’avevo mai provato ed è stata una vera rivelazione, anche i dolci ottimi.
Il prezzo abbastanza alto ma coerente con il servizio e la location.

Posto incantevole... cibo ottimo fusion di sapori e contrasti accompagnati da vini eccellenti. Il personale molto gentile e professionale ogni volta che ti raccontano di un vino senti odori e sapori prima ancora di berlo. Bellissima la cantina e la tomba etrusca
