Great views on Meran!

Such a magical place!! A wonderful family owned and operated museum dedicated to farming on the slopes. And while you can't go up the towers of the castle because it is where the family lives, the parts you can visit are breathtaking!!

A beautiful castle with a captivating museum, collection of artifacts, and history.

A lovely look into medieval practices of handicraft, agriculture and household ingredients. In Italian and German. The setting is convincing and magical.

We had the chance to meet Mrs. Mary. She is very kind. The museum and castle itself are full of historical information from the farm life in Tyrol as well as Mrs. Mary’s father, the poet Ezra Pound.

The best castle ever! Great museum. Say hi to the goats.

Lived here for three months. One of the best experiences of my life. Amazing Family.

Splendido castello, restaurato nel migliore dei modi!
Molto interessanti le stanze in cui ha vissuto Ezra Pound, dove è possibile vedere vari oggetti che aveva portato dai suoi numerosi viaggi.
All’interno del castello si trova una mostra davvero interessante riguardante la storia dell’agricoltura in Alto Adige.

Sehr schöne Burg, wenn auch von der Burg selbst nur wenig zugänglich ist (wird noch bewohnt). Beinhaltet ein tolles Landwirtschaftsmuseum.

In un percorso suggestivo vengono presentati gli aspetti dell'agricoltura/vita montana di un tempo passato. Sigfrid de Racherwiltz ha raccolto con grande impegno una mole infinita di attrezzi e utensili storici. La rappresentazione è curata con dettaglio e passione. Natura e storia si intrecciano perfettamente in questo bellissimo castello.

Sarebbe il top se ci fosse la possibilità di bersi un caffè in tutta tranquillità o di gustare il vino da voi prodotto o mangiare castagne appena rosolate ...

Nicht ganz leicht zu erreichen (ziemlich steile Zufahrtsstraße) aber dann alle Strapazen wert (mit Kinderwagen ist vor allem der Rückweg dann doch recht anstrengend). Sehr interessante Themenräume mit hunderten Sammlerstücken von der Kinderwiege bis zum Schmiedehammer. Die Dame am Eingang ist die personifizierte Südtiroler Freundlichkeit. Alles in allem mit 2 Kindern (2+6) ein richtig tolles Ausflugsziel.

Molto carino e piccino. Sembra di essere in un castello dei bambini, chiusi in un'atmosfera d'altri tempi. Ho adorato il museo dedicato ai lavori della montagna, con la guida e la parte dedicata ad Erza Pound. Gli animaletti fanno da cornice in questo contesto magico e nascosto del Sudtirol. L'ingresso costa 5 euro e comprende la visita nel museo all'interno del Castello. Per arrivarci bisogna parcheggiare fuori. C'È un'autorimessa in centro città. La prima ora è gratuita e si paga un euro dalla seconda ora in poi.

Wahnsinnig empfehlenswert und vielseitig.die Burg an sich ist wunderschön.Alles über den Bergbau ist interessant und anschaulich bereitet! Für ehemalige Amerikanistik Studentinnen natürlich ein Pilgerort für Ezra Pound. Tolles Erlebnis!

Ein wunderschönes Kleinod unter Schloss Tirol. Darin verbirgt sich ein Bauernmuseum. Das Schlösschen ist noch immer bewohnt. Jedoch sind viele Räume offen, auch kann man über eine abenteuerliche Brücke ein Blick auf die Gärten sowie das umliegende Tal werfen. Ein schönes Erlebnis.

Burg unterhalb des Schlosses Tirol. Ist wohl noch teilbewohnt und beherbergt ein Bauernmuseum und Wissenswertes über den Dichter Ezra Pound. Mit der meran card war der Besuch umsonst. Nichts für Gehbehinderte.

Per arrivarci bisogna scendere un po' dal.paese di Tirolo su strada asfaltata ma vale la pena, è un bel museo dell'agricoltura immerso tra meleti e vigneti è molto fornito di tutti gli strumenti adatti alla coltivazione si sviluppa in profondità scendendo scale, ogni stanza è una sorpresa e... non perdetevi le capre blu!!!

Castello molto molto bello, museo interessante. Posizione con vista bellissima sulla vallata.
