Hotel Vis a Vis

We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful hotel which thrones over the city of Sestri Levante. The rooms are very comfortable, although a bit small. On the other hand, we had a big balcony with view on the city. The staff was very friendly and eager to satisfy all our needs. Breakfast was served in a panoramic room and was very delicious. Although we were there in September, the pool was still clean and supervised.
Special highlight for us was the sky bar at which we enjoyed some nice drinks and the beautiful sunset. Absolutely dreamlike.

Wonderful hotel in a great location in Sestri Levante. Positioned high overlooking the Bay of Silence and Bay of Fables, with a short walk to the old town. Very quiet and comfortable. Spectacular views from the restaurant and rooftop bar.

My favorite spot on my trip to Italy! The views will take your breath away. The staff at the reception and restaurants were very friendly. I walked into my room while housekeeping was there and they were actually mopping my floor. That is a surprise at any hotel. AC worked perfectly and the showers had hot water and good pressure. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The hotel does have a shuttle that will pick you up at the train station.
Location: Perfect location within walking distance of the main strip and beaches.
Amenities: Great toiletries.
Cons: The only feedback would be to have better hair dryers in the bathrooms. It is one of those small dryers that you have to hold the button down in order for it to work.

Very nice hotels with great service , nice restaurants, heated pool. Great views of Mediterranean and the town. Rooms are very nice and clean. On top of the hill but has elevator to street level but also tunnel to beach / central area.

A wonderful place to stay. We spent two weeks at this hotel and loved it. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel feels traditionally Italian and the view from the bar is incredible. Everything was wonderful and we had a perfect holiday.

This hotel is beautiful and has the most spectacular views. When we first checked in we found out our travel supplier had made an error and booked us in a hedge view room instead of ocean view which we had requested. The hotel quickly worked to get us into an Ocean View room for the first night and then moved us into an even nicer ocean view room for the last few nights of our trip. We were very pleased with the excellent customer service from the manager and staff at Hotel Vis a Vis and our beautiful room with ocean view!! The roof top bar and restaurant are also spectacular with stunning views! Choose here to stay if you come to Sestri Levante!

Great location, very friendly staff.
Breakfast could have had more vegan options (yogurt, milk), but dinner had its own vegan/vegetarian menu. The only criticism: Our room was very noisy, late into the night and from about 7 am we heard loud noises (like furniture shifting, probably from the restaurant above). All in all, however, we had a nice stay.

We have just returned from our third visit to this hotel. It’s position is so beautiful with great views and is by the old town with lots of shops/bars/ restaurants.
The staff are all charming and helpful.
The bedrooms are quite compact and their decor is a bit dull, unless in the luxury rooms, but the beds are very comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning.
The breakfast is excellent with a great selection
We will be back!!

What a charming hotel with spectacular views! And a truly accomodating front desk staff. Altho clever, didn't really care for the rock attached to our room keys.

In every respect this hotel was worth every penny. Great welcome, fabulous staff, good food, outstanding room and a view to die for. Sunset from the restaurant particularly good. Would definitely go back.

Absolutely wonderful stay. I am still missing it. The staff go out of their way to ensure you have everything you need. The view from the Sky Bar is to die for. Lovely apéros to go with a sunset cocktail too. Room was really comfortable, good bathroom and nice terrace furniture. We only found the minibar the day we left though. Good to have a kettle in the room. Only a short walk to the old town and both the bays. We ate in the restaurant and the beach partner Portobello and both were outstanding. Breakfast choice was very good. Can’t wait to come back.

What an excellent stay at Hotel Vis a Vis! The hotel room was beautiful and dinner was the best I had in my Italy trip! Will be coming back soon for a longer stay :)

Amazing location, outstanding hotel and staff, beautiful pool, great breakfast. Dining rooms on the 4th floor and 5th floors have the the most amazing view of the city and water. Would not hesitate to go back.

We spent a weekend with my husband, to celebrate my birthday. We had dinner at the restaurant with the tasting menu and everything was perfect, restaurant employees friendly and attentive to every detail. The hotel is amazing with the view spectacular, the service is excellent. Everyone inside the hotel greeted us with a smile. We really had a beautiful stay in this hotel, it is the best hotel on this part of the coast for a peaceful stay away from the busier towns of Portofino and Cinque Terre. We would go again. Thank you very much to all the staff.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vis a Vis. The suite we had with our two children was recently renovated. It felt like a beautiful high end apartment. The views from the terraces of the hotel are just 100% awesome!! The heated pool was big plus for our two young kids in May. We will be coming back again!

Hidden Gem! Great to launch adventure to Portofino or Cinque Terre. Dining area is fantastic as Marisio and his wait staff. Food was excellent. I am coming back!!!
