Pizzeria Fornella - Corvara

Excellent restaurant with an extensive menu combining Austrian and Italian (South Tyrol). They don’t take reservations, so at peak times you’ll have to wait 10-20 mins for a table (so I suggest going early). The homemade tagliatelle with game sauce and juniper is absolutely divine, and the carbonara was very good too. The mixed salad is huge, and full of fresh ingredients. We’ll definitely be back!

The restaurant is busy and you will surely have to wait 10-20 minutes to get a table at peak times in the evenings. I recommend going there around 19:00 or even earlier - at that time there is no queue.

The service is very fast. I recommend you to ask the waiter to delay the main course if want to eat it hot.

You get a witty and humorous picture of the Corvara area where you need to find 10 hidden ibexes. I confirm they are indeed 10, so don’t give up - one of them is really hard to find :)

The food itself is good as well. We likes the beef goulash most.

The restaurant is pet friendly and you can bring your dog inside.

Excellent quality of traditional dishes.
Highly recommend soups, if you like me, like soups after a long day of skiing.

Pizza's were Great! Service was excellent. Food preparation was extremely fast. We sat in the atrium with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains and village in a relaxing environment. Very nice overall experience. We recommend the experience.

Look no further- definitelly the best restaurant in the area. And great time spent recognizing all the celebrities in the picture ;)

Really good place... We stayed in Corvara for two days and after we ate dinner here the first night everyone wanted to come back the second night. They are extremely fast even though they are always very busy. I ordered off the grandma's special menu both times and both the spinach and cheese dumplings in butter sauce and the spinach gnocchi with Südtiroler Speck and walnuts were amazing (old style calorie rich food of course). Everyone else in our party praised their dishes as well.

We really enjoyed the carbonara spaghetti, the pizza with brie& spinach and the mini gnocchi.
The dishes were delicious.
For dessert we took the vanilla ice cream with raspberries, which was also very good.
The waitress was really nice.

Let's start with the only negative, it was super busy but you would expect that during a massive cycling event. Now the positives, everything! The food was amazing, the pasta was fresh and portions are generous. I had the spetzle last time I visited and decided to have a again. I wasn't disappointed. The staff was so busy they were running all over the place, still they all managed to have a big smile and we're very friendly. If you are in Corvara, don't miss it.

Amazing pizzas and BBQ platters. We dpent 3 nights in Corvara and endedvup eating there 3 times... I think this tells it all!
