Hotel Col Alto

What makes this hotel so special is it's staff. Every one from the lady that cleans the room to the driver that takes you to slope, and of course wonderful bar and reception and restaurant staff. Nothing is ever too smalll. Thank you for making our two weeks holiday an even more amazing and memorable time

We were a group of friends that cycled through the Dolomites. The location of the hotel was extremely convenient as we were able to start the different routes in different directions from the convenient central location.

Since we had specific dietary requirements, our requests for special meals was duly taken into account. Besides the items on the scrumptious menu, the hospitality team of Hajnalka and Maria delivered on some of the best food and service we had experienced on this trip.

An absolutely delightful hotel, superb service and customer focus. The hotel has been family owned and run for three generations, the attention to detail and pride shows and is a joy to experience as a guest. Will come back when next in the area.

We love the Col Alto. The location is great, attractive decor, pleasant ambiance and very clean throughout. The food is excellent, a mix of traditional and innovative, all beautifully presented.
Well appointed bedroom with comfortable beds. The staff are lovely, welcoming, helpful and professional, a special mention for Francesco (restaurant) and Gracie (bar)

Fantastic place to stay, whether skiing or walking as about five minutes walk to the 3 cable cars. Food is truly excellent, with a good choice in the evenings and massive choice in the morning.
Nice staff.

We stayed here as part of a ski package holiday. Lovely large room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast and dinner with good choice of wines. Spa was really relaxing and showed the cultural differences between nations (Austrians are stressed by deviations from the rules, British will not get naked in front of strangers, and Italians are unable to stay silent!). Only minor issues were a rather feeble shower and lack of tea making facilities in the room.

Excellent hotel. The rooms and facilities are of very high standard as was the service: professional and efficient but also friendly, flexible and helpful. Breakfast starts the day well with a good selection of nice things. (The bread could be better though.) And the bar finishes it equally well with comfortable seating, generous measures and a genial barman.

The hotel is in two sections with different rooms. The main area has all suites and is correspondingly more expensive. We were in the cheaper extension, across the road but linked by a tunnel. Still nice, big rooms with a bit of a view. And quite a lot of road noise but that was OK. In the extension is also an OK gym and a spa with whale music and wellness etc. Very nice apparently although the dress code created some angst.

It's great for cycling holidays with the ski storage area working well for bikes too, with easy access to the roads on one side and the hotel and the other. Cycling in the area is awesome by the way although there was a *lot* of traffic, particularly motorbikes.

Excellent hotel. Everything from the moment we arrived till the day we left was great. Food was INCREDIBLE, every night they serve different extremely gourmet dishes that are simply fantastic. The breakfast was also great,overall very high quality food in everything you ate. The hotel staff was very nice and always made sure you were well treated. The only thing I might have to say that wasn't 5 stars is the pool. There was only 1 jacuzzi and was always overcrowded and not as warm as it should be.

Modern, spacious rooms with a cozy atmosphere. Everything was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable. Multiple cablecars are accessible on foot. The spa area offers multiple saunas, a pool and a jacuzzi. Parking is available right next to the hotel.

Fantastic hotel! Very helpful and friendly staff, the restaurant has an amazing buffet and delicious dinner menus. The ice bar has a delicious Italian mule cocktail ! And the spa has everything you can wish for after the ski! Recommend 200%!

first of all. I have to say I' m working as a cycling tour leader all around the world I have been in so many hotels yet.
Hotel Colalto on my opinion is one of the best hotel I' ve ever been yet. It is a 4 stars hotel but for the very professional and super kind service they provide to all the costumers, they deserve an higher evaluation.
This is my third season and The staff is always the same, means Stefano and Lucia are excellent managers to keep professional and experienced staff. It's an important touch.
The rooms are comfortable and clean. The suites are exceptional nice. The hotel's restaurant is a paradise food, with an amazing aperture buffet with a great selections and every dinner with a different special surprises.
the wellness area is one the best ever, really big and complete with many different sauna, stems, big swimming pool where you can really swim, idromassage pool with warm water and last but not the least it's clean.
For my business is also very comfortable easy to park the bikes in a safe room and plenty room for parking the support van.
what's else go for it you 'll enjoy.

Breakfast was the best in any hotel anywhere. For skiers they lay on 2 minibuses to take you to the ski lifts in the morning. On return you can ski back to the hotel with a little planning. Staff were great and very welcoming.

Everything was just great. From the service, to the room. Excellent breakfast and dinner with wide choices! Highly recommended, looking forward to my next visit.

First Class food, facilities & service. Particularly appreciated the constant availability of courtesy minibus to the ski-lift stations- a god-send for the not-so-young!
