Agriturismo Tenute Pispisa

Words can hardly describe the setting of this elegant agriturismo. Set literally right in the middle of their own vineyards, this property is like an island in a sea of greenery with romantic views in every direction not to mention the stunning views of Segesta on the approach to the property. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and cordial. We tried out best speaking Spanish with an Italian accent;) and the hosts barely batted an eye. The farm-to-table family-style dinner was the finest of the trip with all of the veggies coming from the elaborate garden above the villa. The rooms were everything we imagined with towering ceilings, gorgeous wooden doors and plenty of room. The main dining room and huge swimming pool and shaded seating area are all to die for with views from every seat. We thank this dear family for the stay of a lifetime and everyone always says it...we WILL return.

Absolutely amazing!!! Gluten free pasta and dessert available. Great service and outstanding views of the ruins along the driveway ( we didn’t even pay to go in after seeing it from there) and from the restaurant great views of the vineyards and landscapes. Local delicious produce. Would recommend 100%

Authentic rural environment. A beautiful landscape that brings peace as soon as you get in there. Room are spacious and very clean. Breakfast and dinner are delicious, home-made and traditional. External area is superb, amazing view of the mountains, and a small lake. Super friendly owners that do their possible to make you comfortable. Animals are friendly as well, "Dandi" the dog is charming. As this is an authentic rural area it is important to take cash with you, cards do not work over there! After a scorching hot visit to see Segesta and the amphitheater, we asked the sales clerk at the tourist shop where we could go and eat well. She gave us two recommendations. Since the road for Pispisa was immediately on your right as you leave the parking lot in Segesta, we went there. It was fantastic! A dirt road takes you up, past incredible views of Segesta and the country side. We walked into an updated, yet rustic restaurant overlooking a pool and vineyards. Our waiter Nino told us what was fresh and available that day. We had an overwhelming anti pasta of bruschetta, mushrooms, caponata, zucchini, olives, and more. As well as the best ricotta I’ve ever eaten in my life! We each had different plates of pasta and then a slice of watermelon and two small cannolis. We also had two enormous pours of their house white wine, “grillo”. We drank at least five bottles of water and finished with an espresso. The entire meal cost €60! If we have the opportunity, we’ll be back.

Perfect spot ! Calm, nice, nature, nice staff and good sicilian food. 10mn by car from Segeste or a nice walk. Do not hesitate

Fabulous and rustic. Peace on earth! Great place to really get away. A bit off the beaten track but well worth the drive. Great staff and wonderful local food!

Note - if you go, be sure to follow the signs for the Pispisa that are next to the parking lot (parcheggio) for the Segesta ruins. Don’t follow apple or google’s suggestion to drive in from the south.

Amazing Sicilian food with locally grown produce and house wine (grillo was very good). Busciate al Norma was the best we had on the island, Sicilian meat rolls were also great. Definitely recommended for anyone visiting Segesta.

A truly fantastic place, hidden away from the crowds visiting the Temple. Well worth your while, awesome organic food served in the picturesque surroundings

A great truly rural location.

Sabato 27 luglio (oggi) siamo state in questo luogo a dir poco incantevole! Una vera e propria oasi di pace!
Volevamo visitare Segesta, volevamo prima trovare un posto dove mangiare (BENE!) e magari usufruire di una piscina. Siamo arrivate, quasi per caso, leggendo alcune recensioni. Senza prenotazione e senza niente, la proprietaria insieme a sua figlia ci hanno accolte come se ci conoscessimo da tempo (già solo questo merita 5 stelle).Si sono rese subito disponibili alle nostre richieste, spiegandomi le varie opzioni:
- Menù alla carta, quindi ognuno sceglie ciò che vuole.
- Menù fisso a 40€ (antipasti, primi, secondi e chi più ne ha più ne metta!)

Poiché non volevamo appesantirci abbiamo optato per il menù alla carta, ma sicuramente ne sarebbe valsa la pena del menù fisso.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo al top! Soprattutto quando si parla di cibo non si transige!

Pulizia e servizio efficientissimi!

In tutto questo abbiamo pagato l'ingresso in piscina al modico prezzo di 5€.
Piscina di grandezza giusta, non troppo enorme ma nemmeno piccola e sopratutto pulita senza impregnarti di cloro, che si sentiva ma nelle giuste quantità!!!

Tutto incastonato letteralmente in mezzo alla natura! Un posto speciale da cui si gode anche della vista del tempio oltre che delle distese dei loro vigneti!

Top! Top! Top! Consigliatissimo!

Posto incantevole, ci siamo recati a pranzo ed è stata una meravigliosa scoperta. Immerso nella pace con una bellissima veduta del tempio di Segesta. Miriam super gentile e cucina ottima. Da provare assolutamente.

Il posto è meraviglioso, immerso nel verde, ci sono vigneti a perdita d'occhio. Sulla strada per arrivare a sinistra troneggia il tempio di Segesta. C'è anche la piscina e un laghetto.
Le camere sono semplici, un po' fredde d'inverno. La famiglia è molto accogliente, il cibo squisito! Consiglio anche di mangiare almeno un pasto e provare il loro ottimo vino biologico.

Posto grazioso e tranquillo; immerso nella natura. Cibo buono e proprietari molto accoglienti. Lo consiglio per visitare i posti limitrofi e per fare una vacanza rilassante.

Personale squisito, posizione stupenda da cui abbiamo ammirato il tempio di Segeste e una pasta deliziosa che non abbiamo fatto a tempo a fotografare perché finita subito. Non ci siamo fermati a pernottare, ma è una struttura assolutamente da provare.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo posto ad agosto. Giornata molto calda, avevamo appena finito di visitare Segesta. Cerchiamo un posto per mangiare su maps e trovo questo agriturismo. Beh che dire... su 14 giorni passati in Sicilia a mangiare di qua e di là, in questo posto abbiamo fatto il miglior pranzo delle vacanze. La proprietaria, gentilissima, ci ha accolto nonostante fossero quasi le 15... tutto veramente molto buono. Anche la figlia è stata molto disponibile.
Da tornarci assolutamente.

In qualità di moglie ( fortunata) di un appassionato di cucina, ritengo di poter valutare questa esperienza culinaria attribuendo il massimo dei voti, poiché tutte le portate del pranzo sono state eccellenti per qualità e gusto, accompagnate da un ottimo vino biologico. Il contesto spettacolare, proprio alle spalle del tempio di Segesta, tra vigneti e bosco... consigliato!

Sono stato qualche giorno fa presso la struttura con un gruppo di amici stranieri (15 persone) per pranzare dopo aver fatto un’escursione in zona.
Una volta arrivati, la gentilissima Miriam ci ha accolto e proposto di usufruire della splendida piscina. Su richiesta, lo staff ci ha fornito dei teli e permesso di fare un aperitivo prima del pranzo a bordo piscina. A seguito del rinfresco abbiamo iniziato il pranzo intorno all 14 che, come da prenotazione, prevedeva una serie di antipasti e una degustazione del vino di loro produzione.
Alcuni amici, una volta iniziato il servizio hanno però richiesto in aggiunta anche dei primi; anche questa volta lo staff, ha prontamente accolto ogni richiesta e soddisfatto tutto il gruppo. Il pranzo si è concluso in bellezza con delle cassatelle locali fatte al momento, ciliegina sulla torta di una permanenza da ricordare.
Grazie ancora a tutto lo staff e alla gentilezza e disponibilità di Miriam. Torneremo!
