Ristorante Mediterraneo Segesta

Three of us had enjoyed a visit to the Archaeological Park and Maps said the restaurant was open when we arrived at 4pm. It was, but only the bar, where we were offered snacks. While debating, the waiter returned and said the chef would open the kitchen especially for us! The restaurant is in the old train station with marble floors and walls, cool and elegant. The service was excellent, friendly, polite and the waiter spoke English well. The food was great. One of us had seafood pasta and the other two had tuna steak with pistachios. Highly recommended. Desserts were also good. We had Messina beer, coffee and water and the meal cost us €28 each. We were very impressed and grateful for the restaurant being opened just for us.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem just around the corner from the Segesta historic site. The service was excellent and so was the food. Very pleasant people serving delicious dishes prepared with an eye for detail, f.i. desert served with sugar with a touch of alcohol set on fire, thus getting fresh caramel on the spot. All of the above for very reasonable prices. Great experience!

A great option for a delicious meal in Segesta. The restaurant is located just a short distance by car from the Greek theater, making it a perfect place to stop for lunch or dinner after a visit to the ruins.

The menu features a wide variety of Sicilian dishes, including pasta, seafood, and meat. I highly recommend the fish couscous. The couscous is cooked perfectly and the fish is fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

The service at il Capolinea is friendly and attentive. The staff is happy to make recommendations and answer questions.

We were looking to have a bit of a late lunch before visiting the temples and decided to stop here. The owner and cook were very nice and explained every dish to us. The menu was small but with interesting choices, even though a bit on the pricier side. Considering there aren't many options around this area, I think it's not a surprise. I don't remember the dish my friend had but I had cous cous with fish. Both dishes were amazing and very satisfying compared to some other dishes we had in the previous days of our trip. After the main dish, the cook arranged a nice cup of delicious mixed fruits for us with a bit of lemon sorbet on top. Plus, the bathrooms were also extremely clean! All in all, we really enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere and would recommend it, even if we paid more than we thought for a quick lunch break (50 in total for 2 main dishes, 2 cokes, 2 coffees, 2 desserts).

Very kind and hospitable. All food was freshly made, good, and abundant! I promised the staff to write this review in October, and the memory was good enough for me to still remember it and actually do it!

Menu and food excellent. Service is excellent. I loved the "Bella Vista" service...showing you the fish to choose at your table. The pastry table also brought to your table was fantastic. Take the corner table for two straight through the door to the windowed view of ocean and beach meters away. German spoken.

Recommended by the owner of a nearby agriturismo, we were very happy with the service and the food. Nice pizzas for the boys, fillet to for us with different contorni. Quite big portions as well.

Very good food and service. A lot of space with good temperature in summer and a good amount of food for a very affordable price. Absolutely fantastic. Perfect for eating after visiting the temple.
