Trattoria Come Una Volta

We stumbled upon this restaurant just by chance as the location is just 2 mins away from the hotel we were staying at. We loved it so much we were back the next day and again. Had 3 lovely dinner. The restaurant owner was so kind, friendly and such a good host. Food was fresh and tasty too. I only write reviews if it's 5 stars to my experience. This restaurant is definitely worth the 5 stars. Fully recommend.

Had the most fantastic Florentine steak here!! The 2nd time we ate here and delighted with the delicious meal and great service. Compliments to the chef from a chef!! Highly recommend a visit. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely bbq mix plater, gf had the veggie pasta penne which was very satisfying. Staff are very friendly, the chef came out to say hello. Lots of locals here at the time, seems that they were regulars as they talked to the staff quite a bit.

Exactly the sort of local Italian place you look for and spend hours looking for, but rarely find. Perfect for lunch. I popped in for lunch and had fantastic homely pasta ravioli with tomato bacon sauce and side salad. Then tiramisu and espresso. The lady host, friendly and speaking excellent English, took her time to explain the menu. It's probably grandma cooking in the kitchen. Really recommend!

Good pricing for great food. Not the most mind blowing dining experience but for the price it’s a good choice. I’d give it 4 stars if it was more expensive.

Fantastic local trattoria. Locals dine here, which is always a good indication that is a good place to eat. Owners very attentive and friendly. Food good quality and reasonably priced. Well placed if you are staying in any of the centrally located hotels.

Lovely food and great service. Highlights being the Tiramisu and the Gnocchi Alle Sorrentina. House wine was also well priced and of a good quality!

Pizza and caprese insalata were a spectacular lunch

A little hidden gem . Family run so freshly made food . Wonderful waitress. Excellent value for money . Worth seeking as so friendly and great food.

Ambiente famigliare e molto accogliente. Porzioni abbondanti e cibo buono. Le tagliatelle al ragù erano molto ricche di sugo e saporite, la tagliata era cotta perfettamente, il vino chianti era molto buono, i cantuccini con vin santo sono fatti in casa e di vari tipi oltre a quelli classici (speciali quelli con i fichi secchi). È stato un pranzo molto piacevole, li consiglio!! 👍

Un’ottima cena ed un’ottima compagnia. Il personale infatti accompagna gli ospiti con discrezione ma estrema allegria ed ironia durante la cena.
È stato un piacere passare una serata qui ed una grande lezione di vita, vedendo impegno e dedizione nel lavoro.
Ottimi i piatti ed il vino consigliato !
È un locale fuori dal comune e dai classici ristornati commerciali che si possono trovare in centro.
