Restaurant Freina

We had a lovely dinner at Freina. The atmosphere is very nice, with views of the mountains if get the right seat. The stuffed squash appetizer was very delicious. The three dumplings, local dish, is vegetarian and was yummy. The salmon entree was good. We had the elderflower gelato, it was icy and not great, you should skip it. The tiramisu was well made and we enjoyed it with the vanilla ice cream. Service was good, we had to get the wait staff's attention several times as they seemed very busy.

Enjoyed a very lovely dinner here while on vacation. The padella Strega (homemade macaroni pasta with spicy tomato sauce) was delicious, as was the lamb risotto and the pork ribs. All tasty, well seasoned, and well cooked. Cocktails were also very good. Beautiful views off the patio, and very friendly and attentive service. Highly recommend.

The food is incredible; it is fresh and tasty. They also offer a variety of fresh juices and a wide selection of alcoholic beverages. The food portions are generous, and the menu provides a lot of options to choose from, they also have vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The service is outstanding, with staff members who are not only friendly but also fluent in English, ensuring effortless communication. Additionally, the restaurant offers beautiful views of the mountains.

Pure luxury service and great.food for decent prices given the high end area

Food was spectacular, portions are large and service is good. The wine and the dessert (we had tiramisu) were amazing too! Recommend

We had really good time in the restaurant, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is very nice. Menu is really big making you feel a bit lost but they have something for everyone, including shared dishes, vegan and gluten free options. Aperitifs were really good and beef tartar was superb, although the main local dish and the dessert were not particularly impressive. Service was not seamless but friendly! The place is not cheap but overall worths the price

We ordered risotto, beef steak, beef cheek, gnocchi, tagliatelle with porcini, carpaccio it was all mouthwatering perfect. For desert we ordered triple sorbet, chocolate cake and fried apples which were all very good. Our waiter was exceptional he was attentive, and spoke perfect English.

Can especially recommend the self serve salad buffet and the vegan options. One of the very few place in the region that offer good vegan food. However, I thought the burger I ordered would actually be a burger, instead of a burger patty in artistic presentation. Everyone with me liked their food choices also

We came for dinner two nights in a row.
I am gluten-free and lactose-free which can be difficult in this area but Frëina was super accommodating and the food was delicious. The view is stunning and the wine list is superb. Highly recommend.

Great restaurant with tasty dishes and great service. We had an amazing evening with friends and enjoyed drinks and several dishes together. Well run restaurant with locally influenced dishes. Two dishes needed a bit more excitement but well done. Recommended!

Fantastic food. We had the Angus and the Padella Gardenese, perfectly prepared. Great staff, very attentive/ highly professional. Hopefully we will come back again to this fine restaurant.

Our favorite restaurant in the area. Incredible atmosphere, great cocktails and amazing food. We spent the afternoon on the patio enjoying the views, great drinks and food after a long day of mountain biking. Family owned for over 50 years.

Definitely the best meals we had in Selva this year. Went back twice as it was so good the first time and wanted to try something else on the menu. Great place, great atmosphere and great food and service. Highly recommended

Had a delicious dinner here. There is a gluten-free card and a vegan card. Some vegan dishes can be made gluten-free. In addition the vegan dishes are a little cheaper than meat dishes (how it should be).

The staff is very friendly and they can speak english. Everything is very clean and tidy and you can have a beautiful view if you sit at the windows.

Spectacular meal. Ate the gnocchi from the menu of the day and the tiramisu.
