Cascina della Taverna

This was kind of a bet, it was recommended by some fellow travellers, but it was really by far one of the best restaurants we have visited in Italy. It's an old farm/barn still pretty original but brushed up. Most guests are local Italians and the Carvalho is really good. Incredibly charming and Italy from its best side.

We had a great time evening here. Food is wonderfull (please - order the meat and deserts of the house), portions are really big, we even took part of it for take out. Also the service makes you feel very welcome. I will come back here 100%

It is a laid back atmosphere but food is great. I had t-bone steak (fiorentina) with some amarone wine and it was a great choice.

Wow.....I can't say anything else except wow. This place is amazing and they have a large selection of grilled meats and veggies. This is great in the summer and in the winter. The garden in the summer is wonderful. Make reservations for this restaurant as it fills up very quickly. If you are in the area, don't miss this place!

Very nice place. You order at set of things on the grill. Remember to ask for what kind og side orders. They are not listed. Otherwise the meat is of a good quality and the staff is nice.

The best! I have been going there for 20+ years and it's the most authentic and best kept secret in the Lago di Garda area.

Really enjoyed it here! Mostly locals for dinner on the very large patio space. Grill and meat specialities. Very good dessert options also.

We were hungry but indecisive - the waitress picked for us and was spot on with her recommendation. Everything was delicious. Probably helps if you like meat.

Best horse dishes. Need to try it. I am surprised How delicious are.

If you are in the area you have to go here. It is the epitome of the local Italian restaurant. you must try the horse :-)
