Osteria Sali e Tabacchi

This is by far the best restaurant I’ve been to in Italy, we were traveling through Como and we were lucky enough to experience this amazing restaurant.
If you are able to make reservations and travel down to Como, I highly recommend recommend this restaurant!! The pictures don’t do it justice.

How come I can’t rate it 6 stars???

Lovely place with very good local food. I recommend the menu (meat or fish) to experience all different offers.

We enjoyed a very good dinner with homemade and authentic Italian dishes. The employees are very friendly and accommodating. I would suggest to make a reservation as this place is popular with locals and tourists alike.

One of my favourite places around Lecco, a little tavern in an old stone hamlet overlooking the lake. Really good food, prepared in simple yet super tasty ways. Great menu mostly based on locally sourced fresh lake fish, also regional specials and polenta are worth trying. Very cosy and warm atmosphere, further enhanced by the service and friendly welcome of the owners. Great choice of wines and spirits too.

Delicious, inventive, organic, local, seasonal food in a super cute setting. Family owned restaurant so make sure you book. It is REALLY worth it! And while you're there, take a moment to chat with Giuliana, Gabrielle and their daughter chef, Federica. They are full of stories :)

Food made with love! This family-run restaurant uses locally sourced produce made and served by passionate foodies. Well worth a visit.

This little slow food restaurant is a treasure. We stayed in their b&b for 4 nights and had dinner there 3 of the 4. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is delicious. Highly recommend!
