My wife and I stayed a few nights early May 2024. The hotel room was very nice, well appointed, perfectly located and reasonable value. What i cannot speak more highly off was the service. The team were very accommodating, extremely helpful and the breakfast was delightful. A huge thank you to Arianna who helped us with recommendations for restaurants and hikes which were perfect and made our stay all the more enjoyable. The wine bar for hotel guests was a real treat. Thank you and we will be back.

We just returned from a month long European adventure, and we could not have ended our travels in a better place. Not withstanding that Neive is one of the best and most beautiful places in all of Italy, staying at this property was the highlight of our month abroad. The location, the room, the breakfast, the staff, the attention to every detail, and most of all the service was beyond compare. Everyone takes so much pride in the property, and went above and beyond to ensure that our every need was met. There really are no words to describe our experience, except to say that by the time our week in Neive ended we truly felt like family❤

We had such a great experience with this hotel. Such a unique and historic building, the staff members took such great care of us while we were there and the complimentary breakfast served was incredible! Great location in Neive as well, we would absolutely stay here again in the future and would highly recommend to anyone else needing a place to stay.

We liked everything very much. The room is lovely, spacious, beautiful and comfortable. Comfortable bed, spacious shower. There is parking near the hotel.

From the very first email contact to saying goodbye today, everything was 5 star. Not only are the rooms lovely with super comfortable beds and so many little touches, and the location amazing - Neive is THE best village to be in in my opinion with great restaurants and super friendly people - but the staff are perfect. They go out of their way to make you feel at home with nothing too much of a problem - all handled with smiles and warmth. We even stayed in the lounge room with a lovely fire one night and they served us wine from their little bar downstairs and a cheese and charcuterie plate.

And deserving of a paragraph to itself - the breakfast is spectacular. Fried eggs with shaved truffle, every possible grain, seed and nut you could possibly put in your yogurt and fruit, great selection of cold cuts (the cheeses looked incredible - but I'm not a big breakfast eater unfortunately so didn't get to taste them), freshly squeezed juice, pastries, amazing coffee - it's like wandering through a delicatessen...

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough!

We had a fantastic time. Julia, our host, welcomed us with such a warm atmosphere and a glass of wine as aperitif. The rooms are very new and a perfect mix of historical building and modern renovation.

The view from the balcony is stunning and Neive as village the perfect location to explore Piemont area.

The breakfast was delicious e.g. the egg with truffle and the breakfast ladies such nice persons.

Exceptional quality of rooms, food, and most important - the management. The hotel is a true gem. The building is newly redesigned with great taste to details. Spacious rooms are fresh as pickle and kept immaculately clean. Each room has a balcony with a dream view to the vineyards valley and mountains on the background. Breakfast is truly royal in terms of selection and quality of food: local salamis, cheeses, bakery, fruits, vegetables, eggs, and much more to every taste. Hosts are so welcoming and helpful, you will consider staying for more. This is not an advertisement and not a bit of exaggeration. We just returned from a two-weeks bi-annual trip to Italy, and this place left the best and warmest feelings. Thank you!

My partner and I had such a wonderful stay here! Giulia and Fabrizio were such delightful hosts - so hospitable and kind, and made everything' comfortable. Our room had a cute little balcony where we enjoyed our wine and hazelnuts we got upon arrival. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were a delicious spread of jams, fruit, cheeses, bread, meats, and hot foods, and baked goods. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay while visiting here!

We had a wonderful time at Borgese, Arianna and her colleagues were super nice, we had an amazing hospitality.
I was speechless about their breakfast, they had homemade cakes, selection of cheese with homemade jams, hams, pastries and their signature breakfast, eggs with parmesan creme and truffles.
We will come back to Borgese to explore the beautiful village, Neive.

Lovely hotel and top starting point for wine tastings and walks.

Starting with a glass of wine, olives and appetizers we felt very comfortable from the beginning. The small family-run hotel with 7 rooms is located in Neive and is an ideal starting point for visits to various wineries. For example, Giuseppe Negro's cantina is a 20-minute walk away - perfect for the day of arrival.
In addition to the visit of wineries including tasting, the area can also be hiked well. We, for example, hiked the circular route Neive-Barbaresco-Neive.
The staff has also advised and supported us in other ways, whether with restaurant reservations or tips for the bad weather program.

The breakfast was very rich: from fresh stuffed omelettes scrambled eggs and a special Piedmontese fried egg with parmesan and hazelnuts, to various cheeses, meats, organic yogurths and desserts. Drinks of freshly squeezed orange and grapefruit juices and capuccino with latte art rounded out the breakfast experience perfectly.

The only suggestion for improvement is to increase the water pressure in the showers a bit. On the other hand, it is positive for the climate and to save water.

I cannot rave enough about this place. The front desk staff were so kind, breakfast was AMAZING, and our room was so comfortable and clean. I only wish we had been able to stay longer.

This boutique hotel deserves more than 5 stars. Look no further and book your stay!

Its modern rooms are not only beautiful but also super clean. Arianna and her team will go the extra mile to make your stay perfect. We had to eat gluten free, so in addition to the existing gluten free products (5+ bread options) they made a gluten free cake just for us for breakfast the first morning and bought a little cake from the bakery for the second morning. Futhermore, we had to leave earlier because of private matters and they charged no penalty! Hospitality at its best.

Neive is a great spot for your stay, a hidden gem. This historical town is not too large but still offers many dinner options (Arianna will make one for you) and has lots of free parking spaces. Just perfect!

We stayed two nights and it was a dream. The whole place is designed in a great mix of modern and historical components all done in great taste. We stayed in the two story sure which has a fantastic rain shower but right into the bedroom on the upper floor. Or hosts greeted is with a glass of local wine, booked restaurants for us and helped with every other need. Breakfast is straight forward fantastic. I would give 6 stars, if it was possible.

A perfect room and a very comfortable bed! That applies to all their rooms. And in the morning a beautiful breakfast many 5 star star hotels can really learn from! A gem not to miss!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We are just finishing 5 nights here and we are so happy we chose Borgese Camere. Spacious suite with the most comfortable king size bed, very tastefully furnished rooms and public areas and very easy parking in front of the hotel. Did I mention the views of the Barbaresco vineyards from the bed?
But what really sets this place apart is the friendly service from all members of the family and staff.Need a new battery for your electronic car key, Giulia’s father will go down to the lower town and be back in 10 minutes with a new one on Sunday. Gently fried egg with parmesan and truffles for breakfast? Giulia’s mom, Grazia has it covered. And Giulia is the sweetest,hardest working lady I have had the pleasure to meet. The sad part is leaving for Florence tomorrow, the happy part is returning in three days to stay for 4 more nights.

We have stayed in this hotel for a week and everything was outstanding: the staff is beyond friendly, the rooms are very clean, veriety of dishes are available for breakfast, the location is very picturesque right in the center of historical area of Neive.

Giulia e Fabrizio are amazing. Every time my wife and I went back to the hotel we were greeted by either Giulia or Fabrizio. We were always ordered a glass of wine and hazelnuts at night. Giulia planned and scheduled sooooo mich for us from wine tours to dinners, she called for us which was nice. The rooms were nice and the ones with balconies have great views. It is a short drive to any other town like barolo or barbaresco. I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else in the region. Nieve is a cute little town and Borgese's service is phenomenal.

A gem of a hotel tucked away in Neive. From the warm reception and welcoming glass of wine, to the comfortable and spacious rooms, to the fantastic breakfast served up every morning, this is a real find. An absolute no-brainer for anyone traveling in the area.

Just fantastic! Also this year we had a wonderful stay here. From the reception by the charming doctor to the departure, everything was just perfect. We really enjoyed great hosts, a super clean maisonette room and the unbeatable breakfast with the delicious Parmesan truffle fried eggs. We'd love to come back. Thank you!
