What an exceptional food experience!!! And the personel with overall Matera atmosphere was outstanding. Highly recommended.

Incredible food. The tastiest gnocchi dish I've ever tasted. Also, the waiter (Manu) has been superb! Helpful and very informative about the food, the wine and the town. A top restaurant in a region of very good restaurants.

The best gnocchi in my life. The gnocchi al peperone crusco con tartufo is amazing. Believe me you should try it. The food was above expectations. Grilled meat, fish and vegetable soup also delicious. But the gnocchi … 🫶🫶

This is a small restaurant with a big heart. Right in the centre of the Sassi it specialises in local cuisine. It was the bosses' night off but the 3 members of staff did us proud. Their Bangladeshi sous chef created dishes that the owner would be proud of and the two front of house staff met our requests to explain every dish. We were a party of 6 so we made our own atmosphere. But the night was made special by the beautiful wine and food.
What a lovely surprise from an unassuming restaurant. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience. This fantastic location in the Matera city center offered local cuisine with a modern twist. Food and wine were truly amazing. Moreover, the service was impeccable. The waitress was available and well prepared, and they demonstrated to be true professionals when dealing with my partner's food allergy. A must try is peperoni cruschi, typical of this Italian region, and absolutely delicious.

This restaurant was amazing.The service was immaculate the waiter Elton was just fantastic, very fast and gave us complimentary watermelon! The food was also delicious. I was vegan and they were very helpful to suggest options, I had the orecchiette! The whole team went above and beyond. Definitely a place to visit whilst in Matera!!

Unbelievably amazing. Matera was our last stop in our roadtrip through all puglia and by far, the best local cuisine in the region. Ask for the dishes that are not in the menu. Very good suggestions and amazing flavors

Best service I have ever experienced in Italy though the food could’ve done with a little more time in the kitchen. Would recommend to all english speaking tourists as all staff are friendly and are fluent in english.

Super consigliato. Un piccolo locale dall’ambiente piacevole e accogliente. Personale gentilissimo e simpaticissimo! Abbiamo mangiato veramente bene con gli amici. Tra i piatti, realizzati con prodotti locali, abbiamo assaggiato (alcuni allegati in foto): tagliere salumi e formaggi, pane, cialledda, crapiata, gnocchi fonduta tartufo e peperone crusco, tagliata di manzo. Da bere un vino locale Cantine Cifarelli armonico e gustoso. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Sarà tappa obbligatoria quando torneremo a Matera!!!

Struttura caratteristica ubicata nella parte bassa e interna dei sassi. Ci hanno.proposto dei fuori menù (baccalà alla materana e agnello) che abbiamo poi ordinato trovandoli squisiti. Anche il tagliere antipasti mix veramente buoni.
Servizio veloce e molto cortese. Finalmente un posto dove non paghi la location, o meglio la paghi ma non pesa sul conto

Cenare a Matera tra i sassi è meraviglioso, questo locale è piccino ed è molto accogliente. Il personale eccellente, disponibile e ti racconta ogni piatto come fosse poesia!!!

Un bellissimo angolino prezioso tra i sassi.
Piatti tipici buonissimi fino al dolce. Servizio cordialissimo e modo di fare davvero molto carino. Hanno accolto di buon grado e coccolato il mio cagnolone di 40kg.
80€ per due primi, un secondo, due dolci, un vino da 22€, acqua e due caffè mi è sembrato molto ragionevole vista la location(amari ed una abbondante porzione di melone tipico offerti)

Ristorante tipico ubicato nei sassi a Matera. Personale accogliente e simpaticissimo.Qualita degli ingredienti eccellente, piatti squisiti. È stata un'ottima scoperta.Entrate per caso a pranzo abbiamo prenotato immediatamente anche per la cena. Consigliatissimo
