Agriturismo La Ghirlanda

I booked a wine tour for my wife and I in mid april 2024. We chose the Polaris option. My wife and I had a great time. The property was amazing. It was all you could imagine a winery / resport would look like. Beautiful groves or vines and olive trees, friendly dogs (jack and mowgli) living their best life's, views 360 views of the vally and a working winery around you. The tour included a walk though of the very well peserved estate, and the wine cave, a large overlook terrace and the 4-5 different groves. But what took the tour to the next level was Fabrizio. He was very passionate about the Grove, the wine and the property. During the tasting we never felt rushed, judged or pressured. Big Thank you to Fabrizio for making this tour the best we have experienced thus far!

We booked a tour of the estate on horseback followed by wine tasting and what a wonderful experience this was. As they were a little delayed with setting up the horses, they offered us breakfast on the terrace, while we were waiting, offering a beautiful view of the valley.

The tour was well over an hour and a half, going through various fields, with a mixture of olive groves and vineyards, going up and down hills with breathtaking views.

After, our hostess, Eva took us to the winery per say where she explained their entire process from A to Z. Their winery is entirely organic, and operates as much as possible in "close circuit".

We were then led to a small room where she handed us over to a charming young lady (the daughter of one of the owner/winemaker - shame on me for forgetting her name) and were invited to taste six of their wines along with serving of local cheeses and meats. The tasting itself must have lasted about a good hour, perhaps even more as we spent a total of 5 hours on their property. All the grapes they produce are indigenous from the region, including the famous Sagrantino.

The whole experience was "one on one" with them as we were basically the only visitors. Even during high season, I suspect they only have very small groups (I don't think the tasting room can accommodate more than 6 people).

Finally, as we were approaching 14:00, they made a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant.

Highly, highly recommend it.

P.S.: I can't comment on the room as we didn't stay at their hotel but we are planning on staying there the next time we are in the area.

Its a sensational place!! Its a dream come true. The rooms are cozy and spacious. The food is deliciously fresh and gourmet. The ambiance of the hotel and sarroundings makes you feel in a movie.
The wine from their own vineyards is obtaining good critics from experts.
The staff knows how to give the service one deserves.
I would go again and again.

From the very first stay, I felt in love with this pearl in Umbria. Already been here 3x, wish I could go there every year！

Fantastica esperienza!
Location spettacolare con vista sulle colline (annesso tramonto mozzafiato!), la struttura è tenuta divinamente dai proprietari: molto gentili ed accoglienti, pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta!
Abbiamo soggiornato nella dependance, camera bellissima e letto comodissimo!
Se cercate relax e coccole questo è il posto che fa per voi!
Nel pomeriggio ci hanno portato una piccola merenda a base di frutta: molto gradita! Abbiamo poi prolungato con un aperitivo a bordo piscina!
La colazione è ottima, con prodotti locali di ogni genere!
Consiglio vivamente anche la visita alla cantina della Tenuta (e se avete piacere provate anche la passeggiata a cavallo!!!).
Tornerò sicuramente magari per godermi qualche giorno in più!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo bellissimo luogo tranquillo e accogliente nel ponte del 25 aprile e non potevamo chiedere di meglio. Accoglienza lodevole, cordialità del personale e dei proprietari. Abbiamo scelto di fare un giro della tenuta in fuoristrada con degustazione in cantina. Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. L'aperitivo in piscina con affaccio sui vigneti umbri offre un momento di relax assoluto. Anche la cena merita un assaggio. Consigliato assolutamente.

Hôtel magnifique, soigné, très bien décoré. Le service est excellent et le personnel discret et serviable. Le paysage au milieu des collines est reposant et flâner au bord de la piscine est un régal. Quant au restaurant, un délice. Des produits frais et des plats fait maison d'une grande finesse, je recommande à 100 % et les vins de la cantina sont sublimes. J'ai déjà envie d'y retourner. Et nos amis les animaux sont les bienvenus 😃👌🏼

Un'esperienza di grazia. Una dimora nobiliare della famiglia Pongelli-Benedettoni immersa nelle vigne e negli uliveti. Tutto l'arredamento è d'epoca e si respira l'aria di un casino di caccia. Le camere sono arredate con gran gusto. Il personale è accogliente e premuroso in tutto. Consigliatissimo per una evasione in pieno relax. Cucina speciale anche se solo a cena. Colazioni con grande varietà e con molti prodotti fatti in casa. Si possono effettuare visite con degustazione alla loro cantina (a pagamento). Sono anche super pet-friendly.

L'hotel est niché au cœur des collines de l'Ombrie, au milieu des vignes et des oliviers.
Ici, nous avons apprécié la générosité des propriétaires et le dévouement du personnel.
Pour le dîner du soir, il n'est pas nécessaire d'aller très loin pour se régaler : dans le restaurant de l'hôtel, les petits plats simples mais savoureux s'enchaînent et le vin élevé par le propriétaire est une très bonne surprise. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables.

Il casino di caccia medievale è splendido, e i proprietari sono riusciti a conservare quell'atmosfera d'antan chic e informale con un arredamento sobrio ma molto caratteristico. La cucina della contessa Amalija è delicata, leggera e basata sulle tradizioni del territorio, nonché sull'orto coltivato sul posto. Il conte Riccardo conosce le vigne palmo a palmo, e quando racconta dei suoi ottimi vini esprime tutto l'amore per quella bellissima terra.

Un relax perfetto, circondati da così tanta pace e silenzio, che i colli umbri li senti quasi respirare..(forse anche merito del vino).

Luogo stupendo immerso in una natura incontaminata, una volta arrivati ci si sente subito catapultati in uno dei romanzi di Jane Austin, non soltanto per la natura tutt'intorno ma anche e soprattutto per la struttura, l'accoglienza del personale gentilissimo, giovane e professionale sotto tutti i punti di vista è un valore aggiunto non di poco conto, Vini della Cantina di Saragano e cucina indimenticabili, torneremo certamente.

Ho avuto il piacere di cenare in questo splendido agriturismo, il servizio é stato impeccabile e la vista dalla terrazza stupenda.
Assolutamente consigliato!

Cette maison d'hote est un bijou dans un écrin de vignes et d'oliviers. Chambres élégantes, cuisine maison savoureuse et excellent acceuil.

Un luogo immerso nella natura dove una cura del dettaglio evidente si unisce perfettamente con un approccio rurale autentico. Si mangia molto bene e si beve ancora meglio!

Jättetrevlig gård - agriturismo - i utkanten av Saragano. Producent av vin och olivolja. Har ett mycket trevligt Sagrantino-vin.

Vi bokade vinprovning med trevliga tillbehör och även en middagsbokning. Mycket gott och mycket trevligt.
