Amazing time! Thankful to our server Jammy he was the best very attentive and on point with making our experience one to remember!! The steak was delicious and the chicken was well seasoned. Not to mention the cold cuts and chestnut dessert are to die forrrr!! Free wine while you wait was definitely a bonusss and free shots!

Osteria dei Centopoveri is a hidden gem in Florence offering incredible value with their 14 euro per person menus. The meals are not only delicious but also remarkably generous. Very nice food and price for lunch menu. 12 euros, u have two courses and 1/4 litre wine ! Highly recommended!

Great food, friendly staff and great location! The prices are also very reasonable! Be wary though and make sure to make a reservation in advance to secure a spot and avoid waiting too long. It tends to get full pretty.

This place is truly a gem in Firenze. We had the pappardelle pasta with the chianti beef sauce, truffle pasta, the half grilled chicken with potatoes, and the panna catta with forest fruit (pictures of all minus the chicken[chicken was too delicious to wait to photograph). Each dish was full of rich flavor, and left me wanting to order another round of dishes. Highly recommend this restaurant as it has easily been the best restaurant we have had in Firenze!

Had a great time here and brought our little one. It was a super rustic home feeling kind of atmosphere. Gratis wine while you wait for a table and amazing food! Definitely recommend!

Excellent place that just happen to be across the street from our Airbnb. We had lunch there the 1st day and the food was great! $14 each person and you got a choice of a 1st course and a second course, water, and wine!

On our first night Dec 27, We were referred to Ostaria dei Centopveri by a nice waiter at La Spada for good pizza. We walked in on December 28, 2023; put our name Henry for 4 on the list. We got seated 20 minutes later and the fun experience began. The food was delicious and our waiter was so funny and attentive. I ordered the Toscana set menu of 38 euros
(Very good value), my husband had the best spaghetti Vongole, our sons had pizzas. The price is reasonable. We came back on December 30 but this time we could not get a table without reservations. The man in front was kind and friendly said “you like it why didn’t you make reservation! Now we are fully booked and we are close Dec 31 & Jan 1.” We were so disappointed because we have to fly out back to California on Jan 2. We will be back to Firenze in a couple of years and will definitely make reservations at Ostaria dei Centopoveri.

I want to tell you about it then I don't want to tell you about bc I want to keep it all to myself! I don't want it to get filled with tourists and line out the door but I want them to be successful!

Amazing food with seafood options galore. Pizza options that take up the whole page. Chef's recommendations withe the current seasonal fare.

We had crab w thick spaghetti, tortellini w fish and prawns, and chef's special steak w steamed artichokes. Omg so good! All that and a liter of wine for 60€!!

Very generous portion of food. 14 euros for one main course, second course and water and wine. Very very cheap option in Florence, not bad food. Worth the wait.

For people with limited budget, don’t miss their lunch set menu. The set comes with 2 (big) main courses even wine and water.
You can also go for upgrades with get a bit extra money.

The family is super popular with visitors, be sure to arrive a bit early than the opening hour so you don’t need to wait for too long.
My PAPPARDELLE ALLA CHIANTIGIANA ( beef ribbon pasta ) is a bit salty for me but I still enjoy it a lot. BUDINO DI CASTAGNE AL CARAMELLO (chestnut pudding) is a real surprise for me. The fillings accorded well with the caramel. What else can you expect for a perfect ending with your lunch?

I went there for my birthday a few days ago and it was absolutely perfect. Excellent food (we ordered the bistecca alla fiorentina kilo for two), amazing service (shout out to our favourite Albanian!), wine, desserts, everything was exactly what we could've wished for, all for a great price. Highly recommend! ♥

Busy restaurant. Good food, good service and fair prices. Kid friendly with plenty of choice on the menu. Would definitely recommend. We were in Florence for only 3 nights, and we ate here twice. They have set deals. Leonardo our waiter was very friendly and kind. Didn't reserve but we got to the restaurant just before 7pm and were seated straight away.

Amazing restaurant with absolutely delicious food! We came back here three times over a few days..

First day dinner we tried their Vongole and 3 other chef recommendations. All were good!

Second day lunch was a superb deal. A pasta, with a second course along with a glass of wine n water for 12 Euros. Wow!

Last day came back for their Tuscan steak, way better than the Florentiene steak we had somewhere else..

Recommended this place right away to all our friends and a group who happen to be in Florence is on their way tomorrow!

Amazing food, obviously the service is not that great because it is a very busy place. It's definitely a place to pop in, highly recommended!!!

Amazing lunch menu. Value for money. I had a pasta and a meatball salad paired with a glass of wine. That filled me up after a long walk around Florence. Definitely don’t miss out on the Tiramisu as well.
It can be quite crowded during lunch hours but it was worth the 15-20 minute wait.

One of the best meals in my Italy trip and I came back two nights in a row for it. The food was excellent. My favorite dish was giant macaroni with truffled and porcini mushrooms, it was so delicious and I almost wanted to cry when I ate the porcini mushroom. The dish was so creamy, pasta so fresh, and the porcini was just out of the world, had this two nights in a row.
We also had cherry tomato burrata pizza, mussels, salad, and panna cotta with fruit. My only disappointment was with the mussels, some of them were not as fresh. The tiramisu also looked amazing, wish I had tried. Portion is good, price very reasonable, service friendly, the waiter on our second night even gave us a shot of limoncello.
Highly recommend this place!

Update: went back for a second lunch. Fantastic. Can further recommend the roast chicken, caprese salad, pasta with salmon, pasta with tomato and bacon. The fried fish was good but you had to work for it through the bones. The ricotta cake with chocolate and the panacotti with fruit were both great.

Wow! Such a great lunch today. Fun, attentive staff on a busy day. I had the lunch special - 12€ for a 1st, 2nd, 1/4 house wine and water. We can recommend the cabbage and bean soup, tripe stew, calzone, pizza, and tiramisu. All very good. Reasonable prices. Bathroom available.
