Geothermal Natural Park Biancane

It was amazing to visit in person and see how this is utilized to heat the whole town of Montoretondo and give energy sources to neighboring towns. I would like to visit again and do a little more exploring.

Very interesting geothermal site were you can see and walk through natural steam and other geologic manifestations. At the entry of the parc you will find MUBIA a museum dedicated to the site of biancane. Better to visit when the weather is not too hot.

This location is truly special, if you don't care about the strange smell of the gas I would really recommend spending a couple of hours here. Awesome place if you like photography and nature.

1 must do: There are wooden signals along the route. These display a website and a code. Go to this site and have an awesome audio guide on your phone

Really cool place and adventures. The museum is nice to visit before to get a little more background knowledge about the area.

Very interesting park with extraordinary views. The smell tends to be a bit sickening but at least you know everything is natural, so a good place to go for a walk or even a run!

Quite a stunning place, lovely to hike but some of the surfaces are uneven and slippery, so be sure to wear good shoes!

Absolutely lovely to see and witness. Good walk but lots of steps. Visit the museum first as it explains everything. 4 euro each. Nice photo opportunity

A must place to see. You can make some amazing looking photos. Reserve two hours at least for the visit.

Posto magico in cui il terreno ribolle, sbuffa e sibila! La passeggiata è a tratti in salita e discesa un po’ sconnessa, da Monterotondo Marittimo si arriva a Sasso Pisano. Noi abbiamo preso il sentiero tra i castagni per chiudere l’anello e tutto sommato era più facile da percorrere. Meritano una visita i due paesi. Pranzo a Vapori di Birra con buon cibo, ottima birra e ambiente amichevole.

Piękny szlak w otoczeniu przyrody i źródeł geotermalnych. Piękne widoki i ciekawe doświadczenie dla całej rodziny.

Parco molto suggestivo. Abbiamo fatto il percorso breve ( circa 40 min) con bimba di 11 mesi nel marsupio e cagnolino e non abbiamo avuto problemi. Purtroppo il lunedi e chiuso sia l'ufficio del turismo che il museo. Super consigliata in paese la Trattoria che c'è c'è

Questo Geoparco è patrimonio dell'UNESCO....sito nel comune di Monterotondo Marittimo è veramente fantastico e unico.
Molto ben curato e con tante potenzialità. Adatto a tutti anche a famiglie con bambini....

Schöne Landschaft, tolle Gesteinsfarben, viel Dampf und Schwefelgeruch. Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Festes Schuhwerk und Trittsicherheit empfohlen, die Wege sind teilweise steil und ausgewaschen. Auch der Wanderweg nach Sasso Pisano ist sehenswert.

Visiter le petit musée avant pour mieux comprendre la situation du parc. anglais ou italien mais malgré tout très interactif et les enfants peuvent toucher a tout.
le parc est accessible à pied gratuitement.
