Farmhouse Poggio al Vento

We did the wine tasting tour and it was the highlight of our trip. Roberto runs his family’s farm that has continuously operated for the past 60 years and is still a small scale organic farm. This is the way to experience Tuscany - skip the big wineries that gouge you for every penny!

The wine tasting tour was great. Tour around vineyard and winery was finished with delicious meats, cheeses, bread and of course olive oil and three delicious wines. Definitely recommend as the owner who gave us the tour is extremely friendly and passionate about his craft.

Beautiful property that sits on a hill 500m above sea level that overlooks many hills. Truly a sight to be seen. We came here for a wine tasting and had an amazing experience. Roberto was genuine and took us around the vineyard. Fabiana was hilarious and very conversational. She got to know us and made our time there very fun. We were stuffed from wine and food 😁😁 I would definitely try staying here next time! Their pool is overlooks a cliff!

We did wine tasting and it was amazing. Roberto took the time to explain his wineyards to ne how he is producing wines but also olive oil. We did test eventually wines, olive oil and it was outstanding!! Food was great too. Highly recommend

5 stars is not enough to describe our experience at Poggio al Vento. We went there for the wine tasting, looking for something different than the usual one, and we were blown away by the passionate and courtesy of Roberto, the owner. He explained a bit about his vineyard, showed the cellar and opened 3 new bottles for the tasting. On top of that he added his own olive oil, cheese and cold meat. All products were excellent. Little gem in the heart of Tuscany.

Lido, Marisa and Roberto are the best host/owners of this wonderful gem. My friends took me to Poggio AL Vento for a weekend visit and I didn't want to go home. Million dollars views! Very relaxing and home style. I went back for 9 days the 2nd visit, can't wait to go back again.
They have their own Cantina, with a wonderful selection of Wine, Grappa, Honey and wonderful olive oil.
Breakfast is homemade daily by Marisa, whom I must say is an outstanding chef too. Had a wonderful dinner with the family one evening.
A great place to stay to get away from the fast track, relax, read a book and just enjoy the serenity. One can walk around the grounds, take hikes, and not a far drive from the many tourists attractions.
The rooms are quaint. I recommend to all my friends. Very family oriented and pet friendly.
I would love to retire here!!

An amazing place to stay. The rooms are large and equipped with a kitchen if needed, the views are amazing, and the owner/staff are very friendly; let us taste all the different varieties of wine, and the prices can’t be beat

Un posto meraviglioso. Gli appartamento sono tutti grandi, ben tenuti, con camino. Ognuno dotato di tavolo esterno. Situato nel crinale di una collina tra Montalcino, Amiata e Rocca d'Orcia, vista mozzafiato. Proprietà gentile e discreta. Possibilità di comprare vino e olio prodotti dall'azienda agricola, veramente di livello. Difficile chiedere di più

Agriturismo stupendo, io e il mio ragazzo siamo stati accompagnati da Roberto assieme a due ragazzi americani a partecipare a questo tour di visita ed assaggio. Roberto ha dovuto spiegare il processo in due lingue, passione e professionalità sono la miglior sintesi del suo lavoro svolto, la degustazione dei vini da loro prodotti ha migliorato ulteriormente l'esperienza, la vista dalla loro casa è meravigliosa, solo a pensarci di poterla vedere ogni mattina quando ci si rialza, fa passare lo stress quoridiano in città. Non esitate, se non avete programma pieno in vacanza o non siete sicuri di cosa mettere in programma, andate a fare questo tour + degustazione!

Hermoso agroturismo a unos 4 kilómetros del bonito pueblo de San Quirico d'Orcia, en una zona elevada con unas vistas increíbles, un jardín muy cuidado y un huerto con verduras de las que podrás disfrutar durante tu estancia. Roberto y sus padres te contagian, solo llegar, su amor por el lugar, son muy amables, dispuestos a facilitarte la estancia, cordiales, especialmente Marisa, su madre, que es encantadora y nos cuidó cariñosamente durante nuestra estancia. Te sientes en casa desde el primer momento. El apartamento era confortable, muy limpio, la habitación amplia y la cama muy cómoda. La cocina estaba bien equipada. La ubicación es perfecta, te permite visitar cómodamente la Toscana, pero  a la vez estás en una zona muy tranquila, el pueblo se encuentra cerca, lo que te permite realizar las compras cómodamente y tiene además buenos restaurantes. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.

Roberto e i suoi genitori conducono questo agriturismo con passione e professionalità. Stare in questo luogo magnifico e poter godere del panorama mozzafiato fanno da cornice alla sensazione di stare come in famiglia, con le colazioni casalinghe e squisite e la gentilezza di tutti.
Super consigliato per un soggiorno pieno di bellezza e relax ma anche come punto strategico per visitare i borghi della Val d'Orcia!

Splendido, particolare per la sua lontananza dalla "civiltà"... Ma era quello che cercavo. Per raggiungerlo devi percorrere 10 minuti d'auto su una strada bianca... Poi ti ritrovi in un luogo splendido, vista spettacolare e colazione in giardino difficile da dimenticare.

Un agriturismo vero,di gente che vive orgogliosamente con i prodotti della propria terra.

Esperienza molto bella passata in questa piccola azienda. Passione trasmessa. Vigna e cantina bella. Vista magnifica. Degustazione top. Abbiamo assaggiato 3 vini di cui uno "arciere" ne abbiamo prese 2 bottiglie da 17 euro l'una. Degustazione 18 euro a persona con abbinate bruschette e un ottimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi. Lo consiglio molto.

Io e il mio compagno abbiamo prenotato una degustazione di vini presso questo incantevole agriturismo. Tutto sopra le aspettative. Vista mozzafiato, personale gentilissimo e competente. Fabiana che ci ha accompagnato per tutto il pomeriggio, oltre ad essere estremamente preparata è di una simpatia incredibile. Abbiamo fatto spesso degustazioni in cantina, ma questa è stata la migliore in assoluto!!!!! STRA CONSIGLIATA

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich empfehlenswert! Roberto hat uns sofort herzlich empfangen und uns interessante Dinge über den Weinanbau erzählt. Die Lage ist einzigartig und der Blick einfach nur grandios. Wir konnten uns an den Tomaten, Gurken und Pfirsichen aus dem Garten kostenlos bedienen. Das Frühstück war auch spitze! Vielen Lieben Dank für alles.
