I really liked it, but I’m capricious, it’s very tasty, the service is great! Three waiters served us at once. Very polite, fast. The atmosphere is great, warm, light, candles all around, cozy and romantic. I had tartare and vegetable tart, my husband had liver pate and pigeon for the main course. Everything is just super delicious! Very nice spumante rose, red Montepulciano. Desserts are cute and tasty. Chef - bravo!!!! I sincerely recommend, you definitely won't regret it. It’s a pity, we are returning to Padua tomorrow, otherwise we would definitely stop by again!

The food was above expectations. The choices were not the typical tourist fare and offered visitors a genuinely novel Tuscan experience. The place has a Michelin mention but this does not reflect on the price. Very good value for your money. The staff was friendly and spoke English quite well. While the place doesn’t have extensive outdoor sitting with the view of the spring, it does have a private garden hidden at the back with ample sitting. Overall, a recommendable place for dinner.

We really enjoyed our lunch here, the dishes were delicate and prepared nicely. The trippa was interesting and flavourful, and I really liked the vitello tonnato. Very recommended spot with friendly service and a nice inner terrace!

The hostess is Romanian and like to speak and advise customer or arrange something special on their request. The chef is Italian inventive, sympathetic and make great plates with a willingness to make you discover new tastes or herbes. Both have a good sense of humor and will welcome you even for a dessert or a glas of wine late in the eveninc. Visitors come back years after years as the atmosphere is so sympathic and the food so great. Make sure you reserve, especialy on Saterday. The portions are not small but moderate so, consider a appetiser and a primo or secondi. The prices are moderate and not higher that a not-so-good place called La Terrasse, the restaurant of the Albergo Le Thermes. Overall, count about 30 - 50€ /person. A place I went twice over the we.

We had a fantastic evening at this Osteria. It feels good, those days, to experience such a wonderful combination of tradition, flawless execution and creativity in the cuisine, as well a highly professional and pleasant service. This place is excellently managed (rare), and all the staff is dedicated to give the clients the best experience possible. We had a table in the garden (lovely), ordered vegetarian & non vegetarian courses (will never forget the mushroom and the herbs salad) and where amazed by each course. Love when a restaurant doesn't not try to pretend or show off, but just delivers at this level of excellence :-) Thank you for the great evening.

My partner and I came in late and we were really hungry.

Dino was at the front and him and the kitchen were gracious enough to make up a quick meal before closing down…oh and some tasty wine!

As someone who has worked in the industry for many years-I know how annoying this can be. They continued to be Amazing and gave us some recommendations in the area. The chef even came to the table to give his opinion.

The place to eat when in Bagno Vignoni. Actually the place to eat if anywhere around Val d'Orcia. Visited the place three times and was surprised with everything on the menu. But the thing to be on the lookout is the daily special. The bean and fish pasta was out of this world!!!

Food was exceptionally good and service very friendly. For sure one of the best restaurants in Tuscany.

Recently when as part of my trip to the area for a few nights. Can't recommend it more highly. As I was saying in town it meant I could sample my way through their wine list, which has a good number of options by the glass, including dessert and amari. The food was delicious, and a bit different from the usual, which was a nice change as things can get a bit samey in Tuscany (I live in the region). The staff were all friendly without hovering and as a single traveller, that's often not the norm. A delicious meal and the perfect end to my day (particularly as I could stumble pleasantly buzzed on delicious wine to my b&b near by)

Fabulous food. The suckling pork was delicious! Contrary to other reviews we’ve read the service is friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend. The garden was a lovely place to eat.

We got extra glass prosecco and candels on dessert beceouse we have second wedding aniwersary. Food was delicious. Wine was delicious. Realy nice italan restaurant. Italian music and atmosfer.

Only one minus for waiting time. After starters we have to waiting 45-60 minut for malin course.

No wonder it is a Michelin restaurant! I was so impressed with the wine selection. Enjoyed the server staff banter with us in our different languages. Staff made good local wine recommendations. Our table was very satisfied with the Ratatouille, pasta with pork, and pigeon.

Don't miss Osteria del Leone! The food is the work of inventive chefs and is well prepared. The hostess is delightful and very helpful with making choices from the menu, The wine list is quite good. We had three wonderful meals there in the course of our 10 day stay!

Great place, had a lovely time there! Great wine selection but most incredible thing was the "sformatino con verdure" which will definitely stay with me a long time. The maître d' was very kind offering advice. Definitely check the bread selection which is hand made by the chef with "levito" or as you say in English, sourdough. This was definitely a true Italian experience especially due to the wild herbs salad which transported me on the Tuscany hills. Had a marvelous time and definitely will come back next year.

We enjoined a very nice - would even dare to say romantic - atmosphere both inside and on the outside terrace of this Osteria. The hostess had a positive energy and was really good in helping us decide on the food and wine, as it turned out we enjoyed it so much! We especially enjoyed the "Trippa alla montalcinese" and "Guanciole di maialino".
We returned for the second time and I ordered something that turned out to be one of the chef's specialties. And yes, it was amazing. Honestly, the best pasta I had in Italy so far!
We will definitely return at Osteria del Leone on our next visit in Tuscany!

the best local in this little village. The staff is friendly and the tiramisu is stunning.

Excellent kitchen and very comfortable service.
In the garden there are really nice tables.
