Antico Borgo di Sutri

A wonderful place to stay when going towards Rome, close to it. The building is lovely, the staff was very nice (even offered to recommend some places to dine in Sutri and the recommendations were really good), quiet place with some jazzy music in the evening, beautuful garden and a very good experience staying there. We even saw an event (maybe birthday party) at the place and it looked festive and really nice with saxophone live for the event. Amazing!

This place is truly a pleasant place to be and it’s location is perfect for exploring the many ancient hilltop villages within an hours drive away. The room was modern and perfect and the food was very good indeed! There are certain restaurants that produce food that is obviously more than just food. The restaurant is truly memorable as is the service. Service all around is also very good. So if you are thinking about staying here we do recommend it highly.

Everything about our stay was perfect, the room the food and the staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The bed was comfortable, bathroom clean. The new restaurant was very good.

We knew the Antico Borgo di Sutri as a very nice hotel, a beautiful wedding location and a good restaurant. The renovated the restaurant recently and apparently have a new chef, who transformed the cuisine a major step upwards. The quality and presentation of the Amuse Bouches compete already with many Michelin starred restaurants. It went on with an interpretation of Vitello Tonnato, two spectacular “primi” (one containing tortelli with a liquid Parmesan core – which is difficult to make) and an excellent lamb under a crunchy crest. A pre-dessert again presented in style of a Michelin star and an incredible dessert in a superb balance of sweet, slightly salty and crunchy elements concluded a remarkable dinner. Not to forget the Petit Fours, which were almost a little "after dessert".The wine list is very interesting and– we should not say this too loud – very moderately calculated. In an area not overly rich in really good restaurants, this is truly a shining star

This hotel was really good surprise we were offered a complete detached house as our room our kids were amazed with a view to the wild. the birds and a lot of other animals were surrounding our rooms in the morning. The staff is so kind that we decided to stay a second night on purpose it was really like being at home. I will definitely stay there again if I am in the neighborhood absolute love the staff the quality and the location.

Wow excellent venue! Went to a wedding and stayed two nights. The whole experience was amazing, venue was beautiful with the ceremony in the garden, food was absolutely superb , staff were great and friendly. Accommodation really good and priced well First wedding I've ever attended in Italy and all I can say is if I ever get married that would be a venue I would definately consider.

Lovely small village built on a hill. Old buildings, piazzas and fountains are the frame to little restaurants overlooking the slopes. Don't forget to see their wonderful antique amphitheater.

Very nice place, quiet and warm with really good service. You can enjoy good night sleep here.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo una notte.
Il parco, anche se è inverno, è curatissimo, la zona all’aperto è davvero stupenda, immagino in primavera e in estate sarà al massimo dello splendore. La camera, standard è pulita e c’è silenzio. Per noi la ciliegina è stato il ristorante, N’Uovo, avevo letto le recensioni, ma tutto è stato al di sopra delle nostre aspettative.
